I frequent the weather network a lot to see if any storms are coming my way.

It is updated every 10 minutes.

Right now the last update is 11:30 a.m.

It's been down for 9 hours now. Never seen it down for more than an hour in the past. Just seems suspicious.

Jay, this probably won't have any major effects other than the typical flare interaction - the point is, there was a flare. That's the big deal here.

Watch live everyone, judge for yourselves..

I'm sure you are probably right.
Hmmm... Maybe I shot the moon when I predicted the flare on Tuesday could knock out the power grid to New York City?

Oh well, predicting the flare is still substantial considering we haven't had one in Two years.

If a flare actually hits on the 7th that would be an extraordinary coincidence to say the least.

I mean, the possibility of something going wrong is too great.

Désolé!

The only things I can think of are the GPS failure due to solar radio bursts, and the two Hydro-Québec failures.

I also believe the 2003 Northeast blackout was due to a cascading failure caused by low level solar induced ground currents, but I cannot prove it as access to data is restricted due to national security reasons..

Other than that the sun affects almost every biological, technological, and geospheric process on Earth...

That was actually why I predicted New York to go down on Tuesday...

I figured it was a solar storm. The grid up there is extensive if I'm not mistaken and it powers everything from New York City to Niagra Falls.

First post, Hello all.
These are my observations about the recent few days. Please dont be sarcastic with me, I will never be. ever.

Solar XRAY flux has started going up when the STEREO B images stopped updating, around 22:00 UT July 3rd.
www.swpc.noaa.gov...

Crop circle of Milk Hill Phase 3 and recent Solar xray flux appear to have digial signals 0101 sort of information.
If anyone with more knowledge of the digital language can find its meanings , it might help with some correlations for other researchers.
