Man Charged In 'Virtual Porn' Case
news.aol.com
A Tennessee man is facing charges of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor for what authorities say are three pictures -- none of them
featuring an actual child's body.
Instead, according to testimony presented at Michael Wayne Campbell's preliminary hearing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Wednesday, the photos feature
the faces of three young girls placed on the nude bodies of adult females, CNN affiliate WDEF reported. (visit the link for the full news

There are real sexual predators out there that actually assault children, and the state is wasting money putting this guy in jail?
This man never even touched the children and this was probably his way of dealing with his "desires"

Aggravated sexual exploitation of what? Photoshop?

He can be very far away taking pictures of your brother or other children.
Jail him, throw away the key and let the other inmates know what he is in for.

ya... I think that's what there doing with the jail thing, making sure they stay away from your kids.
The guy is obviously a pervert deviate who likes kids. No sympathy what.so.ever.
A little bit odd, however commonsense should point your moral compass in the correct direction on this one.

People like him should go see a shrink and be put under surveillance, not be sent to jail. I would rather have him looking at badly photoshopped
pictures in his home that to have him exploiting real physical children.

Send him pics of your nephews, nieces, brothers, sisters, daughters or sons if you feel that way.
I'm sure he will enjoy the mail while he sits in jail.

It's a sick story but he didn't hurt anyone.
You don't jail people for "thoughts" in a free society.
Next you jail people for criticising the government because they are potential terrorists.

You can send him pics of the children in your family also.
As long as it is only thoughts and no action you should be fine with it right?

No child, no crime.
That's like saying "I killed a guy while playing Call of Duty. Now I'm being brought up on manslaughter charges."

This man needs help. Since he's not out there preying on children, then he obviously knows that his desires are wrong. Would him getting beat up in
prison solve anything? No. He needs to see a psychiatrist.

I don't have a problem with just normal art (or if you prefer cartoons) depicting persons below the age of consent, however this is a different
story. It has less to do with a sexual crime, and more with unlawfully using someones image in a very innapropriate way. I would probably want to harm
this man if I had a daughter that he pasted a photo of her face over some play boys body then put it on the 'net.

This guy is obviously pretty sick. But what's important is that there is no crime being committed.
This is thought crime, people. The implications of this case could be enormous if he is found guilty.
Another thing to consider, is that banning activity like this might create more danger for children. Pedophilia, as I understand it, is a sexual
disorder. By preventing pedophiles from satisfying their urges harmlessly to photoshopped images of Hannah Montana, we might be encouraging them to
act on those urges, putting children at risk.

Well this is rich. Liking the response already. The fact of the matter is that it's not your concern if this guy endulges in the sickest fantasies
imaginable, even if it's your or even my relative. It's just none of your business.

If everything was made up then there is no big deal IMO. Get over it people, I live in Tennessee and they do some stupid stuff like this a lot (Bible
belt state and all).It is better than him doing it for real to a real kid is it not?

Well, I don't think he's a pedo. He doesn't have that "pedo smirk" mugshot going for him that pedos have when they're arrested.
However, he should be sent to a mental institution. He is obviously mentally ill and shouldn't be around children as he might become a full-fledged
kiddie-toucher in the future.
Not a criminal, but a person who is ill in the brain.

Not that I support the guy. But why are people saying he's obviously mentally ill, he needs help etc.
Yes what he did is strange, but we don't "really" know the guy, only he knows if he needs help. People do weird things all the time, I guess it
means everyone needs help haha.
