I agree Anjin, at least Palin told everyone what she would do in a McCain Administration, which many people did not like, but Obama flat out lied. He said he was for change and kept a lot of Bush policies. He lied big time as will be seen when taxes go up, there's another war, and more companies belong to the government...

So she enjoys hunting?

Every Politican flaunts their children during the campaign.

As for the rape kit thing.

townhall.com...

Hunting from a helicopter. I would like to see her hunt them from the ground.

And she was happy to dump waste into the lake because it would "create 345 jobs". And she takes joy in battling environmentalism.

Hunting from a helicopter is a well used form of hunting in Alaska. Stop harping on it. I don't see why it makes you so upset.

As for the dumping. I will wait until I see a negative influence on the lake before I start frothing at the mouth.

Each time you reply to me you subract one more thing you have against her. I guess that means I will need to reply to you atleast one more time before you have nothing left.

It's never a good idea for a party to nominate people to President or Vice President who would actually be considered as VP for the opposition.

McCain and Snowe sounds more like a Democrat Ticket than Republican.

Anyway back on Topic....isn't is crazy how just the mention of Sarah Palin can derail any thread?
The media has trained some of us well.

Alot of liberals are fuming at Obama, and it's his policies on National Security like keeping Club Gitmo open, continuing the War in Iraq, and his support of the Patriot Act that has them fuming.

First of all, I think he is better than McCain and definitely better than Palin, but not by much because he is a puppet of the same people.

Anyway - I do think Obama has some goodwill in him, and I hope he exposes the government for what it is.

I don't think he will though. He is, I think, basking in his messiah/hippie/civil rights hero cult of personality.

It makes me sick to think most of the people on the Left who idealize world peace and equality and a clean healthy planet actually think this guy has come to save the day. He is just like the rest of them, so far ....

After this post Donnie, I thought you had finally seen the reality of our situation as a "free" and "Democratic" people.

But then you post in response to:

"Why is he better then McCain or Palin?"

Well because McCain is cranky and mean and Palin is downright sick. With Obama there is at least a chance he will turn against his masters.

I realize you still have a way to go. The Bush family, first and foremost are bankers. They are members of the elite for many reasons other than being bankers and in the oil business. (Brown Brothers Harriman)

Obama is an empty suit representing these elite banking families. His chances of exacting change within TPTB are nil. PERIOD

I also believe McCain was informed as to what lay ahead, may have tanked his campaign, or was told to. He would not be forced to rule over the planned economic destruction of our country. Maybe McCain refused this role. Since the McCain family has done so much in service to their country over 3 generations, I think TPTB may have decided to hang it on the "new guy" and give "The Geezer" a reprieve.

The 2 party system ended on November 22, 1963, 12:30 PM CST, in Dallas, Texas. Since that day, The (NWO) Trilateralist Party rules the roost no matter who is "elected" President, regardless of the party.

The picture of GHWB standing in front of the Texas School Book Depository, on that day, speaks volumes. And I suppose the fact that GHWB was Reagan's VP when he wanted to remove Volker as Chairman of the Fed and was shortly there after was shot, is just another political coincidence.

I do not envy President Obama as he has sold his soul to the elite and now he has to play the hand they have dealt to him.

Step back from the game and take a look at the big picture.

And...... if you and Grover hate Palin NOW, just wait for 2012, if there is a country left to have an election.

What goes around comes around.

Was that an insult towards me? Whatever. I'm used to it.

More people should care about world peace and equality and a clean healthy planet. If you don't, something is wrong. If you support poor people suffering for no reason, destroying land, drilling for more oil, and wars that don't affect you... something is wrong.

But everyone hates me and Obama. No biggie. We're bffls, we'll tough it out.

Oh and he's the first guy to actually proclaim that he cares, besides Gore and Nader. And people hate Gore more than Obama. And no one voted for Nader. So, who else am I going to support?

Not anyone who supports more drilling, making abortion illegal, illegalizing same sex marriage, wants to raise taxes on lower middle class families, or who doesn't put effort into protecting the environment.

How anyone could truly believe that Palin would have been a worthy candidate for vice presidency is baffling. She was an airhead for goodness sake.

This is the same woman who claimed that her foreign affairs experience was limited to the fact that she could see Russia from her backyard.

What if Mccain had of passed away while in office? A world superpower would then be led by the likes of Sarah Palin.

I think it is apparent that some posters on this forum are incapable of putting aside their partisan bias.

Donnie, Donnie, Donnie.

You know I feel the same.

At first he started out promising and good, and like you said, I would take him over Palin and McCain anyday.

But I actually was rooting for Hillary Clinton in the primaries. I really didn't think Obama to be very skilled or experienced, and though so far he has done SOMETHING, I think he could still be more dedicated to his job.

Stop appearing on People magazine, for example, and start trying to fix healthcare and the NK situation. The economy, is, I believe, on its way - I sincerely do believe the worst of the unemployment storm is here and it will pass in another few months, following which the multiplier effect of Obama's governmental spending will take full effect.

Well, I agree.

I do not support drilling. I am pro-choice. I think same-sex marriage should be allowed. I want to lower taxes on the poor middle-class.

I'm Democrat. But there are more experienced people, frankly, who believe the same things. Like Janet Napolitano, or Hillary Clinton. But Barack Obama is the only one with "the star quality". It makes him seem... like a fluffed glamor version of a President.

You do Sarah Palin a great disservice, but then again, that is the point of an ad hominem attack, isn't it?

Palin was being honest. Her governmental experience has not included international affairs. Neither has Obama's and he's the president.

There has been nothing in Palin's national exposure that would lead any honest person to characterize her as an airhead.

It is only that those who attack her, dare not encumber themselves with the facts or a sense of honor for that matter.

At least when Palin's teleprompter failed at the RNC, she had the wherewithal to wing it successfully.

Do we know of any politicians at the national level who have problems when the teleprompter goes down?

During and after Palin's national campaign she was bombarded by charges of ethics violations, not one of which has been substantiated.

Now there's a fact you can chew on.

Olympia Snowe is SO not a conservative. She's more middle than right.

That said, she's the PERFECT candidate to run for President 2012, because she is popular, capable (one of the best Senators in our country) and she can appeal to BOTH Democrats and Republicans, unlike the staunchly-right Sarah Palin.

I agree about your comments on Palin.

I think she is just bad at answering interviews. But I just do not agree with Republican views. She should leave Alaskan oil alone... It's environmentally-DESTRUCTIVE to go digging for oil. Necessary though it is... it's NOT sustainable.

I love it.
All the bleeding hearts making excuses for Obama, saying things like "yeah, Obama is starting to suck but, but, but McCain and Palin would have been sucking worse" or "I was really hoping for Hillary".

Guess the second hundred days are prooving to be quite different from the first.

Btw, I understand the Palin bashing but one thing is for sure, she only continues to gain experience as a leader. No one can deny that!

How on earth does the left stand for equality and peace. The left has voted along with all the traitorous republicans for wars in the past. As a matter of fact the only one that seems to talk bad about the war is a Libertarian but We cant have that..

Also how can You even infer the left is for equal rights... I work 112 hours a week and I have a huge chunk of my paycheck taken out to give freebies to people whom don't work or won't even work more than 40 hours a week. So please explain how the left is for equality because as far as I am concerned You people are for slavery because You expect the hardest working middle class to pay for Your so called programs that You are either to lazy, to unmotivated, or to dumb to earn yourself....

When we are in the biggest economic crisis since the Great Depression it amazes me to hear what some people use to discredit Sarah Palin. When people were losing their homes, cars...jobs and everything attached to the things I just listed all some people could talk about was her 'ward robe' who gives a darn? I could make the same case with Obama's ears. I have real doubts about any recovery when the news media 'nit picks' silly and ridiculous items such as 'consignment clothes' or clothes bought by the GOP. I don't care if she wears blue jeans with flannel shirts. They are scared of her...that's why all the rucus. Our news media are pathetic..with the exception of FOX..their name should be changed from 'media' to 'propaganda'. Even the Canadian papers are ridiculing Obama...I read an article the other day from a Canadian newspaper. If you want the truth read a foreign paper.

We have big problems in this country...and they are not getting fixed. We have conservatives vs liberals....capitalist vs socialist and the whole country can't get together a recipe for disaster. Socialism does not work..a proven fact..yet...some people in this country want to re-invent it thinking it will work here. Many people really don't care if it don't work its a freeby for them. A lack of good leadership will destroy this country...in other words...the fox is guarding the hen house.

best regards,
