I was watching Hitler's Secrets on National Geographic. They got into how Hitler wanted a Aryan race. The superior Aryan race had blonde hair and blue eyes according to Hitler. This was Hitler's pure race.

Didn't anyone in Nazi Germany notice Hitler did not have blonde hair or blue eyes?

It's just something I never noticed before. I've heard this Aryan race theory about Hitler many many times, and that simple fact never occured to me!

So, why the hell did people who had blonde hair and blue eyes; being told they were the superior race do what someone without the Aryan attributes ordered them to? Did Hitler ever give a explanation why he did not have blonde hair and blue eyes, but was somehow the one to bring this Aryan race about? I couldn't find anything. Does this simple fact make this theory of Hitler's world belief false?

Heh, yeah he was a maniac. I think it was pure fear that kept anyone from pointing out or even thinking the obvious.

Yeah I know how it ended, though I would have rather seen both of them hung or mutilated. I guess as long as they are dead it shouldnt matter that they committed suicide, but I am sort of verngeful

What could you possibly mean good by saying he was one of the last ones to trully know what is going on here? Do you think the Holocaust was a positive?

I'm sure the German people knew he wasn't Aryan. They just wanted a good leader that would get things done. He also knew he wasn't Aryan. That's why he and Eva never had any kids. I believe Eva wanted kids too.

Oh yeah, and he was nuts.

I suggest you go to Hitler himself (mein Kampf) and read his words instead of the TV. What comes out of that thing is very superficial and out of context with how he explains it in the book.

Not a madman, but actually a bit like most people on ATS. A bit paranoid of conspiracy and into alternative history and the such. Not a racist in the sense that we know it. He didn't look down on people because of skincolor as we're so often led to believe. He judged races by it's cultural history. Which is why he had a huge respect for the Japanese and Arabs. He also very much apreciated spirituality in a peoples culture, which is why he used the Swastika for his "Logo". It is an old buddhist symbol of the spiritual.

He saw the Jew as a cultureless and materialist people that did nothing but try to infect others peoples cultures with greed and money. He was a socialist (nazi is short for National Socialism)a soldier, an artist, a politician and a leader. He did not like the Capitalism he felt the jew brought into his country with all their banking and the likes. He was into conspiracies and had read "The protocolls of the Elders of Zion" which is an ancient text supposedly written by a Jewish elite on how to rule the world with money, media and lies.

In other words, Hitler was trying to stop MTV crips 60 years before the show aired.

Sure they noticed, but if you were in Hitlers army would YOU be the one to say to your superior, "Hey, what's with ol' Hitler not fittin' the program?" I'm sure that'd go over REALLLLL well.

No he wasn't he was fascist based on the fascism of Mussolini. His Nazi party was fighting the socialists (and anarchists and communists) in Spain before WWII started. He turned on Russia in 1942. He burned his own government building, the Reichstag, and blamed it on communists. He was right wing fighting the left.

There was 3 main fascist countries in the 30's, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

His party was called 'National Socialist' to appeased the working class and make them think his party supported them.

Fascism and nationalism go hand in hand, the corporations and government as one. Socialism is the workers ownership of production, completely opposite to the Nazi party. Germany was nationalistic in which the government owned the corporations.

I can't believe people actually think Hitler was left wing socialist. But then again seeing as most Americans think they are right wing, I guess it shouldn't surprise me. In Europe right wing is racists skinheads and parties like the BNP and the National Front, why does America get it all so wrong?

Oh and btw Hitler being gay, or half Jewish, is a myth. Typical war time propaganda designed to make the enemy appear weak. Watch old war movies made in the 40's and 50's and you'll notice the Germans often portrayed as being effeminate.

In fact is there even such a thing as Half Jewish? You either are Jewish from your mother, or you're not.

JustAThought is spot on. And remember the winners write history which is why Hitler is so bad yet the U.S. presidents who took Native American land aren't. and Nazi doesn't equal Fascist. Not quite anyways.
