The European Union with its 500.000.000 consumers, is since 2007 the world's biggest market! If they get the same cheap prices as you had on Chinese consumers goods - I'm sure we can add 100.000.000 new consumers to the Chinese equation.

I did some analysing regarding computer-parts and consumer electronics prices USA vs EU.

I found out that, even if we had higher taxes and VAT on a computer mother board - if I took away the tax/other fees and VAT, exchange rates between $ and € - the American price would still be 10-20 % cheaper than the European prices.

The result is the same for every damn electronic consumer product!

Plasma screens, LCD screens, graphic cards, HTPC equipment , stereo equipment, ear phones, cell phones, kitchen electronics & other house electronics etc!

Clothes prices & other consumer products are the same! between 10-30% cheaper in the US than in Europe.

So if the rest of the world get the same nice deal on Chinese consumer goods, I'm convinced the consumer base around the world and the growing domestic Asian markets together - easily could add up to at least 500.000.000 new consumers of Chinese products!

What is holding you up over the water line right now, is the dollar hegemony - you have the unfair financial/economical benefits and advantages of holding the world's reserve currency & Petro Dollar Recycling system! - if that would change soon? then what?
