Dimensional Portals Opening? Vegetarians Disappearing After Hearing Voices? Are You Hearing Voices?

Hi guys, i am not a vegetarian but as a small child i would be alone in my bed and hear a slow motion type of voice talking to me that seemed to be right next to my ear. I could not tell you what it said but it was definitely words on a slow speed. I have memories of crying but not been able to make a sound.
I also heard a voice from within my head [not my thought] say prepare yourself. That was about 10 years ago. Im not sure what the voices mean or if it has relevance to the thread but the experiences i have just related did happen.

I'm glad I'm not the only who's heard a bang noise. One night in March I think it was, I was sleeping, and a loud 'BAM!' wook me up, it sounded like it was in my ear, so, I got up and looked out back, because behind our house is a bus garage, nothing, So I IM my husband (who works at night) and asked him, and he said nothing was going on outside. So i check the news, because last time I had heard a noise like that, a plane crashed 3 miles from my house... Nothing... so like I said, I am glad I'm not the only one.

I normally just read this site but I wanted to contribute to this discussion. I am not a veggie, but I have been when I was younger which is years ago. I have thought alot recently about not eating meat as I agree I feel healthier if I dont eat alot of meat. Someone mentioned the blood group diet earlier on in the discussion, and my blood group is A and therefore compatable to a veggie diet (dont know if thats significant).

I have heard a voice say my name in my ear as if the person was right next to my ear. I have heard this a few times also I have heard a voice make a noise the same way. When I have heard this voice say my name I have answered "what" and nothing has been heard in answer to me. This hasnt happened a lot, in fact less than once a year.

I do hear noises in my house and always have done no matter where I have lived and I moved around quite a bit. What used to freak me a bit though was years ago I had a habbit of dreaming some one was knocking on the front door. It woke me up from my sleep and I would look out of the bedroom window to see who it was and there would be no one there. Because it freaked me I would then go and make a cup of tea as I was damn sure I wasnt going back to sleep, and within half an hour some one really would knock on my door. Once it was the police to tell me they had arrested my drunken ex, who didnt live with me anymore but with someone else, but he had given my address for some reason and other times were other people, either forgotton their keys or something.

I doubt any of this has to do with eating meat, but I liked the arguements about sound frequencies. Some one wrote about hearing a radio in their head and it turned out to be a nail in the wall that could possibly be picking up radio waves, I think thats possible for that person and afew others maybe. Has anyone ever had a "radio in my head" lollipop? that worked in a similar way. I couldnt find a picture on the net but I found how it worked.

This has happened to me before, but I am not a vegetarian. I have heard the tv go on and off, voices, sometimes a male and female voice, and often times a mixture of children, men and women. This hasn't happened to me recently, this has happened in the past. I don't voices anymore since moving but I have seen some shadows from time to time in my room. I can see an outline of a person standing there, if I shine my alarm clock light on the area, it goes away. In fact this past Sunday, I got up very late one night or early morning and I was walking in my room, and it looked a person was standing a few inches from my face, I was like umm okay, can you please move, I was in and out of a sleepy state. The thing or whatever it was vanished and I went to the bathroom, looked in that direction and of course it was gone. I've been seeing a shadow of some sort in my room since the begining of April. We have lived here for 8 months, and that's about all that happens. I know that the original owners died in this house, and some patients have died here too.

That's about it. I am wondering if that even helped you out or not.

Just reading this morning and felt like adding that I am glad to see this thread moved to Skunkworks as it gives more leway and respect to those placing their personal experineces into this thread with the backing of the Mods to keep the trolls out.

If it were in another forum, it could be shredded apart and the members would be well within their rights to scream Hoax or show us the proof, the evidence the audio backing!

I realize that it is sometimes disconcerting to the Op when this happens but sometimes, sometimes it is for the protection of the members personal experiences which cannot provide hard evidence and their words are the only proof needed with the uptmost repect.

We all from time to time hear our names called, I asked my children and they all said that they have heard their names called within the past couple of months, kind of freaked me out and then I remembered to trust the divine thread which hold us all in a higher light of our place in this dance of the cosmos.

When you hear your name, or tune into the barely audible chatter, then take a moment, close your eyes and just breath. watch the incoming breath and the outgoing breath. This is the most basic connection to the divine that we holdd, from the first breath to the last we are never abandoned by the divine, it breathes through us in every breath, we forget and start getting into the head about things and that is when it moves into the mental plane of existence.

Keep it in what refelects the highest intent. Trust that you have nothing to fear and have been protected and will continue to be protected.

QUESTIONINGALL It is all good really the Mods made this decission to protect the individual claims from undue riddicule and badgering for evidence on the open Forum.

I LOVE Skunkworks and some of very favorite threads were moved here if they did not start here.

The most reasonable explanation to me is that vegetarians are missing something from their diet that is important for the brain to properly process voices. If other people in the same room are hearing the same voices at the same time, then that is all the more interesting. But it really sounds like vegetarianism is causing problems with hearing voices. And I don't call it crazy, I just call it a nutrition deficiency causing people to get false signals.

Freaky to say the least. I'm not a vegetarian but I do have an extremely powerful affinity to (and empathy with) animals and I will not consume most meats (chicken eater mostly). I've been undergoing some changes in the last two (ish) months. I seem to be much more in tune with my surroundings but at the same time I sense an extreme disturbance...like I'm about to be pulled from my skin....It's very difficult to describe. I feel like I'm on the "brink" or "edge" of something incomprehendable. I know this all sounds vague but it's hard to describe the feeling of it. I guess the best way is that I feel a distinct disruption in my perception, my vibrations, everything. In addition, my inherent behaviors are changing. For example, in the past, any time I would find an unwelcome insect in my home, I would kill it and think nothing of it. Now I find myself going to great lengths to capture the offender (most recently, a wasp) and release them outdoors. This may seem like a very small thing but it strikes me odd that an automatic behavior such as this would change so suddenly. In addition, I'm finding it harding to communicate with people that are not in "tune", so to speak. Whereas I used to have the capability to fake it in my day to day, now I find that it's becoming increasingly difficult..... Also, my sleep patterns have become much worse. So much so that I'm actually becoming a bit paranoid about the whole 'web bot sleep phenomena' thing. I cannot fall asleep easily, nor can I stay asleep for more than an hour or two at a time. I am suffering from bizarre (sometimes unpleasant) dreams and many more lucid dreams. I could go on and on but I am going to end my account here and hope for some feedback from you guys....
I haven't had time to read all the responses to this thread but I'm hoping I'm not the only individual feeling 'off' lately.

All it says is "Sherrie" as if calling me - questioning.

Ok...not sure if I mentioned this in my thread but, I clearly heard a female 'voice' call my name, eerily sounding like my late mother ...even with my ear plugs IN~! I've been seriously thinking about going Vegi for about 3 months now..

I've been reading ATS for a while, but finally subscribed to respond to this. I used to hear the "talking all at once" voices all the time as a child, but have not heard them as an adult. (No, there were no actual parties going on at the time.) As an adult, however, I have periodically heard my name called and it is very startling. It is just like it is right in my ear, but nobody is there. It has been a male voice on occasion, and a female voice on occasion. I think it is the male voice more often. I am 41 and the voice in the ear has happened I think 5 times starting in my early 20's, 3 of those being in the past two years. I stopped eating meat mid-December, so it has been five months now that I have been a vegetarian. I, too, have noticed myself going out of my way lately to escort bugs outside, including spiders which would never have happened before. My interest in the spiritual and supernatural has been really ramping up for the past two years and I think all of this is related. I don't think hearing the voices is schizophrenia, as somebody suggested, because from what I have heard schizophrenics hear voices that tell them specific things or tell them to do specific things and what I hear only says my name or, when I was little, just sounded like a bunch of people all talking at once and I couldn't make out what any of them were saying, and that sounds like what everyone else experienced as well. I also don't think it is related to something missing from the vegetarian diet since most of the posters are saying they are not veggies but have heard voices, and since I myself have only been vegetarian for the past five months and heard the "party" voices and the "name in my ear" voices prior to going vegetarian as well as recently. I don't think I am going to be disappearing, but I do feel like the increased interest in the spiritual (particularly dreaming and astral) world, the decision to stop eating meat, and putting the insects outside instead of killing them is definitely related. I too am very animal-empathetic as well. There are some other interesting experiences I have had in the past two years but they involved touch rather than hearing. This thread seems to have drifted a bit, so... Some people are talking about hearing bang noises. I lived in this one house and late at night would hear what sounded like someone sliding boxes or furniture across the floor and a lots of banging around. My wife heard it too. Finally one night I was laying in bead with a couple of pillows behind me and my head against the wall and it started again. It was so loud I could feel it in the wall behind my head. The only one's in the house were the wife and I so I went down stairs and naturally the noise stopped and it never happened again. Weird. All together it happened 5 or 6 times. Maybe it was ghosts, who knows. I believe they're possible but never seen any.

I've seen fireballs in the sky before, one stationary and the others were moving. They weren't flying saucers. One was huge, bigger and more orange than the sun that day. The day before Portland Oregon reported seeing fireballs too. The rest of them were small and moving across the sky without any jet streams and slower than jets. Now that I think about it, the moving ones happened around the time there were quite a few earthquakes in the Seattle area. Maybe related? It could also be something like The Electric Universe people are talk about too.

Sorry, I have not been responding in the thread for a couple of days. I need to let you know, I had a complete misconception of the moving of this thread. Briefly I will say I was upset over the movement of the thread. I knew nothing about what skunk works was, because honestly I had never explored the board before, I took skunk works literally in name sake only. I often check the Board of Skunk Works every day, most of the most interesting threads end up there.

I would have probably posted this thread in the Gray Area myself which is another great Board to share alternative thinking in.

The long and short of it, is you authored a great thread and the cream is always going to rise to the top no matter what.

You got a lot of new members to sign up so they could have the opportunity to share on subjects like this too which obviously are on the minds of a lot of people who don't normally feel comfortable sharing them with hardly anyone anywhere.

I am very appreciative of the efforts you put in to this thread, and I think most members and the staff is likewise grateful.

I had read the same blurb on urban survival as the OP, and not though much of it. It wasn't until I read the first page of this thread that things "clicked".

A few weeks ago I had friends staying over, and my wife and daughter were staying elsewhere while our kitchen was being worked on. I have done some form of meditation/visualization since I was an adolescent, but it has been on-again off-again for years. I recently started reading "the mediator's handbook" to get a broader knowledge of the different forms of meditation. I was doing some "stilling" meditation (i.e. just breathing/clearing the mind) the night I had acquaintances staying over. Both were in bed in different rooms with all doors closed. After reaching a tranquil state, I heard the "people at a cocktail party" - just calm, muffled voices. I thought I had sort of tuned into their thoughts, but it sounds very much like what other people have reported in this thread. It was unintelligible, but I definitely heard it. I am a meat eater and have never really had an experience like this before. I've had random times where I think of someone, and moments later they call me, but I have never before heard something like this. It has yet to happen since, but I haven't had much time to meditate in the last few days.

The thing that really gave me chills was reading the rest of the thread and the reports of other people with the urge to eat less meat. The last few weeks I have had a similar feeling. I wouldn't call it an urge, just sort of an idea - give up red meat, eat better. I have dieted before, but i have never previously had any aversion to eating meat. I've done so my whole life.

To add to it, I've had a really unquenchable desire to "get down to it" and start finding the "truth". I think the word for it is gnosis. It has really come out of nowhere, but that is what has spurred the re-interest in meditation, as well as researching gnosticism and the like. I know that this may be completely unrelated, and probably happens to people for a number of reasons. It's hit me like a ton of bricks and is starting to consume my thoughts .

I have searched the news for local disappearances. There are some, one in particular that I heard on the news two nights ago about a man who had completely disappeared. Stopped to get gas and no one has seen him or his truck since. I'm in Kentucky and every year they are pulling missing people out of lakes and whatnot, so this stuff is somewhat expected. The interesting quote was from a relative they interviewed: "A man just doesn't disappear off the face of the earth without someone seeing something." I thought, "oh really?" Maybe things are changing.. who knows.

I'll put this last part in here because it just happened to me last night. Another something that very well have a very normal explanation. I am a deep sleeper and it usually takes me forever to get out of bed. I woke up in the middle of the night at about 3:00 am. Moments later, as I was just starting to wonder why I was awake, my daughter started screaming loudly. She's two and wakes up from time to time, but usually not like this. And usually she's what wakes me up . When I went in there she was pretty shaken.. i know the obvious explanation is nightmare, which is what I'm thinking too. Just wondering why I woke up before hand. I've heard a lot of other people around complaining about waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep...

Oh well. If this is all coincidence, then that's pretty wonderful!

Very informative. I am interested are vegans at risk too? Is there some type of tie off method we could use to prevent being sucked into these protals?

Ok, I need to make myself a bit clearer, and try and remove the bit of excitement from my OP and perhaps shed a bit more light on what exactally how these/ this voice is different from anything I've experienced.

A bit of off topic, but relevant to the thread: Hearing voices & the differences between them. Being of the Foursquare denomination withing the Christian faith ( for purely the lack of a better explanation), I do hear God's voice (and yes, he does speak if we are listening) when he speaks, it comes in 3 ways mostly...

(1)soft, direct in a male tone being spoken directly to me, to provide encouragement, direction, instruction or discipline. (2)a thought which occurs suddenly but, usually with the same nouns stated above (3)which usually happens when I'm praying for people; a sudden 'knowing' or a picture of what the situation is etc. I'll leave it at that.

Next is my own thoughts and theories which I think we all know how to recognize.

In my thread stated here was 2 occurrences that actually happened to me ...

the first one was definitely a female tone of voice which directly spoke to me and called my name, while I had my ear plugs in because I was going back to sleep after waking up and going to the restroom.

The 2nd occurance is posted below...

Going to add this event to this post since it's relevant. About 3 weeks ago, I was laying in bed, after hearing the alarm clock go off, shut it off and layed there for a couple of minutes and then thought "well, I guess I should get up".

Immediately after having that thought.. I physically HEARD a radio transmission along with the mic being keyed... "that is confirmed" or something similar to that!

I FREAKED! I opened my eyes immediately, looked toward the window which had the blinds shut, but just a bit open to see if the police were in my backyard. I got up, opened the blinds in the bedroom, looked outside, nada. zero, no one there. I ran to the the sliding glass door, open it up.. walked out side.. nada, zero...no one there.

I ran out the front door in hopes to see a police car or some kind of activity going on about the neighbor .. nada zero,, quiet as a mouse. Sky was clear, with a few clouds.

What I'm hearing is NOT what I normally hear on a daily basis.

I am a meat eater, but I only eat one small meal a day and can go 3 days without feeling hungry.
Perhaps its not the meat but the amount of calories consumed?
Perhaps we get energy from elsewhere and not just food?

I have heard my name called and the quiet muttering but also choir music for about 10 years now.
I do have very sensitive hearing but on the downside I have problems with Central Auditory Processing in that my brain doesn't filter out background noises.

that's why so many people hate silence and need to have the radio or TV on for noise.

Curious question, how are you still alive?

Do you feel healthy? At good weight?

I do believe there is energy all around us, not sure if that energy can satisfy hunger thou lol.

p.s actually I don't eat much meals either, but I do have a nasty snacking habbit thou lol.

Also about the knocking, I know what your talking about, I've also heard my tv make noises too haha, I always thought it was just some pressure expanding/compressing due to temp or something? Not sure.
