This is simple, who do the posters on this forum put their faith in as a leader that is honest and can get us out of the mess we find ourselves in?

There is a lot of bitch'in and complaining, but , what is the solution.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you, I am looking for answers and hoping people will feel free to voice their opinions without condemnation.

There is no doubt in my mind we all want the samething.

So let's work together,

Although I don't trust any of the current leaders and do trust Ron Paul, I don't think he's the one to get us out of this mess. I just can't see him in an international realm. I wish I knew.

IMO, there is no such person. And even if there was, I just don't see Americans as willing to make the necessary sacrifices to turn this thing around.

I see, I don't know much about him, yet.

On the other topic one person said we don't need a leader, that will never happen.

OH wait, what is a leader?

It should be someone that serves.

Let's see what we need to change.

I feel that the leader (President) is not the main problem. It's the Senate and House. Those politicans are the ones who make policy. They are the main cause of the USA's problems.

Term Limits are a good start...it will never happen though. Presidents are only in office for 4-8 years. Some congressmen/women have been there for over twenty plus years.

I think 4-6 year terms limits are needed.

Yes, I agree,

There are more of us then there are of them, surely there is a way.

We have to come out in force and vote out these people.

But then you have to worry about experience.

The sad part is that once a congressman has been there long enough they have earned some serious power. The people they represent know that they will be heard 'more' because of this power. Therefore, unless there is some big scandal, the incumbant(sp?) will probably be elected for as long as he/she wishes to be.

I think the leaders that are sought for are not currently politicians, and definately not lawyers. Therefore, I would be extremely suprised if we do get the leaders needed, due to mudslinging proffessionals.

Welfare dependency

Living high on the hog

using less electricity, oil, gas

no more government subsidizing

Less government across the board

Basically Americans need to become more self-sufficient, responsible, and learn how to help their family, friends, and community in time of need.

I will second that.

The things he is teaching will help this country in the future regardless..hopefully a great leader will come from that.

Yes, I have never lived high on the hog, but I am not exactly suffering either, I don't think Americans realize even the simple life is pretty good.

Thomas Jefferson
Andrew Jackson
George Washington
Ronald Reagan

Any of those, but sadly, they're not here to see this... Reagan saw the beginning but he didn't see this... He got Gorbachev to end the USSR, now we need him to stop the forthcoming USSA... or someone with his ideals and economic policies
