My wife is okay with me being on ATS. I don't spend too much time at home on it. I'm on ATS mostly from work. But I play an online game from home because I can't play it at work. She hates that game. I do moderate my time on it as best I can, though. Cheers.

Yeah my wife hates my xbox...It just went in for repairs and she smiled so wide when it first showed the RROD that swear its like she prayed for it or something to happen. The only games she likes interestingly enough are zombie games like left for dead....Everything else I get socked hard for.

Till this day, nobody close to me knows that I'm a member of ATS. I like to consider it the one place where I can actually be left alone.. but even then you got members picking a fight with you every 5 seconds

My wife actually encourages me to get a PS3, which I've wanted for a long time. That way I can stay downstairs and watch our 3 year old son and she can go up to our computer room and get a little 'her time'. I'm absolutely fine with this but we haven't managed to save the money for a PS3 yet. Every time we get close, something else comes up. Last week it was the fuel pump in my truck. It's always something.

Sometimes in the middle of night when I am asleep I start screaming about aliens, it wakes up my girlfriend. She will wake me up and and say "Maybe you should take a break from ATS". Other than that, its all good.

I think if the woman i meet didn't like conspiracies in all shapes and forms..she wouldn't be my girlfriend...give me 5 or 6 beers and the conspiracy part of my brain goes on overload,enough to scare 99% of the female population away i would think.

My fiancee hates ATS,she cant stand me posting on here and thinks I need medical help when I tell her some of whats going on in the conspiracy forums!! She as told me I ought to stop reading paranormal posts to as I had a couple of nightmares recently. Basically I think it boils down to the fact that when Im on here Im not giving her enough attention and we all know how a woman scorned can be....

My husband and me are both are members of forums, but he prefers disclose.tv and I well..think it's gargabe lol

We are both very much into this kind of stuff and we talk about it constantly with our children and they enjoy it as well.

As a fellow ATS member said on the first page, it's all about moderation.

My g/f dont mind ATS, mostly cause im not on it at home much. Its my work hobby. But all the ppl who sit around me love hearing me talk about all this cool stuff. My ATS, porn and ps3 time is for when she is not around. This girl is too hot to be ignored , so I man up and take one for the team!

I kinda have to bend the truth and tell her this is just a news site. Not a conspriacy/alien/reptilian/NWO site. She already said I am a militia paranoid survivalist.

Well it bugs me cause i attempt to try and explain this stuff to her and she thinks its all bs cause its not on "CNN" the true news source, and i have tried to tell her that putting stuff like this on CNN would not be in their benefit, that stuff like this the government wants to keep hush hush. well anyway, i apologize regarding gf/wife and not mentioning bf/husband

This thread is totally funny. My girlfriend is awesome and doesnt hate this site but she laughs when i talk about the things i read on here. We get along really good we are just different in some of our interests which is fine.... but ya she calls ats my "ufo site".. anyways its been sort of an ongoing joke between us so this topic caught my eye.

She calls it a UFO site; because she probably think that's all there is to it. Why don't you show her the other forums as well?.. BTS would be good.. lots of different topics over there...

ask her what she's interested in.. because, whatever it is, I'm sure you can find it here.

no she hears about all the different things on here shes just not into it. which is fine we connect in other areas so we dont have to have this in common. she sometimes also calls it the crazy reptoid site lol

I had a girl bugging me for information about what I do for fun. I decided to mention youtube just because many young females seem to like that site it seems. I go on there but it's typically just for entertainment. Most of what I watch probably is a waste of time especially if I'm not enjoying it. I tend to learn more on here. Now what is a waste of time? It all depends upon what you like.

Hi steve, imagine if CNN and the likes did decide to air all of these news articles that are here on ats the whole world would be in constant shock because not all minds can handle such acute information, instead they just air stories of simple and easy to understand chaos and destruction, plane crashes, bush fires, mass murderers, shootings, terrorist acts. I thinks its crazy that 1 second the news reporters are telling you about a huge earthquake has just struck somewhere third world, thousands have died and millions are starving and suffering the after effects, and then a split second after that they say.... and now the weather... whats that all about?
Anyway just try and tone the info down to your GF as she may be a bit scared of it all, let her know that, The more you know the more you know you dont know!

Most of my best friends think that the site is garbage, too.
