Religion has always played a big part in Ireland, and it would drag England in to any civil unrest there

What would happen if troops where to be deployed, IRA bombings start again, with the new terror laws this could be the switch from the nanny state to the Police state!!!

Actually, its a peaceful "protest" against the abominable killings that happened last weekend and even Gordon Brown has said how wonderful this vigil/protest against violence is and how it shows the public's willingness to end violence.
Nobody is deploying troops or anything...no martial law...

Thats very true, but it only takes a few bad apples to turn a peaceful protest in to a riot, its happend time and time again

I don't think there's much conspiracy behind this.

If you read all the available articles on this protest, basically it's the ira trying not to look bad, calling the killers "not even worthy of the term dissident" if I remember correctly from an article.

Sorry to be a "de-bunker" but it's got political reasoning all over it so the ira doesn't get major heat.

You do know that Northern Ireland and Ireland are two completely different countries and economies with different laws and currencies yea?

Also.. very few people care about religion anymore.. it has caused more trouble and death than it has been worth for the past millennium.

This is a protest were the people of Northern Ireland tell the IRA that they want no part of their games anymore and that they won't get any support.

It is extremely unlikely that there is any sort of conspiracy here.. people just don't want to revert to the days of people getting blown to bits because of their religion. This has been boiling for the past year in NI but nothing had happened to date. As long as the UK keep the army out of the North, the people won't support the IRA and they won't get their way.

1) Northern Ireland used to be the epitome a police state.. Now its not... if the elite wanted to keep it under military control.. why did they let peace break out in the first place?

2) The protests are not anti government.. they are anti terrorist...

If it is the elites doing this.. they are doing a very bad job of it.

I disagree, what we are seeing here is OLD School protests here, people standing up for their community, people with hearts and souls.

This is not some NWO-conspiracy, this is good stuff.

catholic and protestant mothers walking arm in arm against the animals that did this.

THAT is how ireland is united AGAINST the US based NORAID funded terrorists.
