OF COURSE there is a team inside the White House targeting Rush. Rush does against everything Obama does and therefore Obama's minions will be trying to shut him down. But I highly doubt that the POTUS will stoop to debating a radio talk show host. That would raise Rush up instead of knocking him down.

Even though I don't like Obama IMHO Obama would whoop Rush's @ss.

I find it utterly disheartening and immature when Obama's administration feels the need to attack people in the media who disagree with his policies. It's time to lead Mr. President - you have the most powerful nation on earth to run - and you feel the need to have people in your cabinet address opinions put forth by people doing their job - and who some would describe as ENTERTAINERS!?

I just want Obama to "get us on the road back to recovery". Leave the entertainers alone, and focus on your job.

Agreed, and the other thing that I notice in his show often is that he is a person that simply will not let himself be distracted or derailed. He stays on topic, when he asks a question, he wants an answer and he wants it now. He doesn't want callers to derail and get off topic and if you do, he will ask that you stay on topic.

I personally love that kind of attitude because there are simply too many people who don't know squat about what they're talking about, or are fakers that only pretend to know what they're talking about, and when he finally puts them on the spot light, they try to take away attention to themselves and put the spot light on him, but he puts it right back on them.

obama's team is just using rush to marginalize the republicans. and it's working like a charm. rush is hated by the american ppl even more than bush. make him the perceived defacto leader of the repubs ftw...

btw...heavy abuse of lorcet is known to cause hearing loss. rush had unexplained total hearing loss right at the time he was using drugs. it's obvious it was the lorcet...

obama only brought up rush one time about a month ago...and he was just telling the repubs that if they want to get things done with the dems, they need to expand their horizons and not just listen to the likes of rush.

How do you know he didn't get addicted? I can show you where he admitted to using it, can you show me where he said he wasn't addicted?

40 pills a day? Care to show me where that was stated or are you guessing? They don't even know if that is what caused his hearing loss. They said it is possible, but nobody knows. Assumptions don't fly to well with me.

Edit to add- using an illegal substance is abusing. doesn't matter if it is 2 times or 100.

there is no evidence he abused it...none so i don't know.

i say 40 pills a day because evidence suggest rush lost his hearing from abusing painkillers. according to hearing researchers rapid hearing loss, even deafness often occurs from abuse of these drugs. coincidence? maybe...i doubt it...
but anyways, to go deaf from this type of abuse requires large quantities of the drugs...which his maid provided the evidence of...
