can someone tell me why some people have a ignore option on their mini profile and most people don't ?

how do you display the ignore button under your avatar ?

just wondering

Unless I'm mistaken, the ignore feature exists for all members except yourself and staff.

I can't see anyone wanting to ignore themselves and staff (?), well, that one won't fly.

Hope that helps.

Are you specifically wanting an 'Ignore' button on your own avatar?

Maybe I'm confused (it's dawn here and I'm only on my first coffee), but why would you want to have the ability to put yourself on 'ignore'?

You can't ignore staff. They crave the attention too much.

But, where you can't see the ignore button under your avatar, I can and other users can, too. You can't see yours, I can't see mine, but everyone else can. It is there for them to click if they want to.

As skeptic1 said you can't see Masqua's ignore button because they are a staff member. I can't see it either.

You however are now on my ignore list.

If I wanted to put you on ignore, I would click the red "ignore" link under your avatar (which I can see and you can't). It looks just like the one you see under my avatar. I'd click it and then I couldn't see anything you posted. Just like if you clicked mine, you couldn't see anything I posted.

Masqua doesn't have one. Site Admin, Mods, and Super-Mods don't have an "ignore" link. We have to listen to them.

ok i get it now...you can't see the ignore on the mods profile...

i have seen some regular members that have a background color that makes it impossible to see the ignore feature and if they are online or not.

so anyways thanks everyone for the reply's...i think i get it now

I successfully ignore staff all the time
just kidding, I love you guys

People I put on ignore often times don't end up lasting too long anyway so it's a pretty much useless function for me. But the question has been answered.
