Fox host: 9/11 truthers are 'mentally ill'

No one said the steel melted. Steel does not have to melt to lose its structural integrity. At all. This is EXACTLY the sort of drivel that is being pressed by so many "truthers" even though it is flagrantly false and a lie. Its been explained by hundreds of professionals, specialists and those with a substantial knowledge on steel structures in fires how steel loses its strength when it is heated up.

And what should you call someone, or what would you call someone who, no matter how many times has to be corrected still uses the false lie and misconception like the steel has to melt before it fails? Methinks the person or persons who continually believe this and continue to parrot this lie must have something wrong in their heads. Period. Its a simple as that. Somehow metallurgists, physicists, chemists, structural engineers, fire fighters all know and say that steel can fail and has failed from fire and fire alone at temps well below the melting point. And no matter how many times this fact is ignored or covered up by the "truthers", the fact remains that steel does not have to melt to fail. But it just goes to show what kind of minds we are dealing with.

Also, no body knows what exactly was "pouring" from the building when it was on fire. It could have been a multitude of things. Aluminum mixed with debris, computers, the UPS batteries, etc.

Mate, a "truther" is a disparaging term for someone who has a different theory than the official verdict.

IMO it is someone who recognises the flaws in the official verdict and wants real answers.

Yes, there are some (lear) theories about holograms and space weapons that are a bit "out there" but this should not detract from the very basic issue that there are more questions left UNanswered than have been answered.

And I speak as a sceptic on this CT.

Good clarification, there. Now, as to the OP: A bit harsh, to immediately lable someone with a 'different' opinion as mentally ill.

I'd prefer to describe those who 'disagree' with the official story as somewhat out of touch with all of the facts. Because, no one can know everything.

Let's use the 'Miracle on the Hudson' as an example: USAir 1549. Now that the ATC tapes have been publically released, we (you) realize that there are callsigns for various Airlines....in this case, since America West bought USAirways, the America West callsign (Cactus) prevailed.

I've gone on about this before, on other threads....so I won't repeat.

But, just want to say, not to diminish from this crew's wonderful feat....I challenge anyone to find a professional pilot in the same situation who WOULD NOT BE as calm, cool and collected as 'Sully' was. IT IS WHAT WE DO!!!!

I've strayed off-topic, sorry. It was necessary, to make a point.

9/11 "truthers" probably don't understand all of what they hear, and likely draw the wrong conclusions as a result. Not their fault, it's just a lack of knowledge.

So....EITHER you think that the Bushies were smart enough to pull off the greatest ploy in Human History, and get away with it....even though they showed NO COMMON SENSE for another seven years.....or you have to realize that there is no conspiracy.

I remember that day of the bombing.

I used to think it impossible some of the stuff truthers were saying until I started to really look at their arguments. Some of the theories are out there, but the rest of them make sense in an uncomfortable way.

You realize the damage that would be done to a building on the same foundation as the other building after it came down there was a subway under the building and common sense would tell you would take significant damage when a building came down on top of it wouldn't you think? It was a miracle that water didnt start flooding into the area i watched a show Where they even had to reinforce the bed rock for fear water would eventually flood the area. So even the foundation of the entire area was damaged.

There was a whole slug of prognosticating dreams posted on the net shortly after 9/11.

One was posted by a woman who had a startling dream at 6 am 8 days before 9/11 when she was visiting Chicago. In it appeared a 10 wheel flatbed with sides on it that held hundreds of human body parts, a very gruesome nightmare of a dream.

There were swarms of police and army personnel dressed in blue and camouflage uniforms and in part of the dream everything collapsed like a pancake and started sliding
into the sewer.

Well it just goes without saying doesn’t it? Unless you believe everything the gov tells you, and do everything the gov tells you to do, you’re obviously quite mentally ill. Not to worry though, there are some very nice reeducation camps we can send you to. Lord god government just loves you that much.

Who cares about being mentally ill?

No actually someone, I believe John Lear, promoted the "notion" that holographic planes were used to fly into the towers and pentagon.
