If you had to choose a piece art to describe your life,

What would it Be?

Please Explain why in detail.

You can choose anything,

Any kind of picture on the internet,

Create your own and post it,

You don't even need to post a picture, just describe it in words if you want to,

Sky is the limit!

If you count movies as art as well, I would say "The Fountain," "What Dreams May Come,"and "Children of Men."

Reason is that I will go to the greatest lengths to protect the ones I love

Boris Vallejo and Luis Royo, 2 artist claim this piece. It has been called
the white angel - It pretty much sums up what I am and how I have been treated by most humans... ahh but notice the cord is loose

Another beautiful piece.

It is intruiging that not only does it sum up who you are, but also how you have been treated by humans in general

Yes. The dream one is from the movie "What Dreams May Come."

I don't want to ruin it for you, but most of the movie is made to look like a painting to signify heaven. It's an amazing movie, and one of my most personal favorites that Robin Williams starred in.

*Spoiler* Even the part where he goes to hell to get his wife back is done in a very artistic way.

Here's two videos I found on youtube about the movie. The second one is the trailer for the movie. I would recommend you also watch "The Fountain" too. The storyline might not make sense, but the visuals rival that of "What Dreams May Come."

I have never watched it before, i shall make it a priority to watch the film!

Everything is welcomed, music, movies, you can even compare your self to a certain person in a movie or tv show, it does not matter, their are many forms of art.

EDIT - Woah, very artistic indeed, i need to go rent that now lol

lol! Yeah, it's one of those movies not many people have heard about, but should see. I bought it and watch it nearly every week now.

Cool.

Children of Men is also a great film, but in a different way than What Dreams May Come and The Fountain. Storywise, CoM has one of the best I've ever seen, plus the cinematography was nothing short of amazing. It's a movie set in the near future about the end of times of human beings and how we react to one another when it happens.

This one resonates with my position immensely.

Always working trying to keep the machine running smoothly and efficiently. Granted, it doesn't allow for the clean up aspect of the job, removing the grunge and grime and internal blockages, but it's the closest I could find.

For me it has to be The Treachery of Images.

It's all semantics!

Great thread OP! flagged and starred

I picked two pieces of art, Kandinsky(1st) and Miro(2nd)- among the many painters I love-

I won't explain why. They just speak for themselves

Ahhhhh, Very insightful.

You do not need to only choose one. If one picture does not do it, post , or 3 , or4 lol

I will do mine,

- I choose this one because i feel the light has found me.

- Reminds me of the constant darkness around me

- Cause sometimes i fell like a light onto others.
