I too have been feeling bad about porn. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy watching it. I use porn to hold me over until I can have sex with my boyfriend. I don't believe in cheating. If I feel I must cheat then I will break up with my boyfriend. But anyway I sometimes feel bad when I notice a person acting really fake in porn or if he or she looks like they are high on drugs. I love porn with actors that seems to enjoy it. But it's a hard call I like alcohol, I like porn. I hope that one day I can live without my vices, but until then I will enjoy them and party in moderation.

So, if I am getting this right...Porn is a good for birth control and fidelity?

And, If I don't do porn, I'll be fired up for just about anything with anyone at anytime?

If I go to prison, is porn okay then? Please say yes. Please say yes.

For those who watch porn regularly I WARN... If you have a *habit* of watching porn now just wait until you can plug into VIRTUAL SEX. Imagine virtually participating in a porn movie.

In the future we will have a nation of virtual sex junkies just like the drug alcohol and food junkies now.

Most porn stars were abused children. As adults they are hurt people who are lost, drunk and drug addicted. Porn is not healthy for the *actors* or the watchers.

Be careful what you put into your mind. It affects your soul.

Porn, no need for it.

The wife and I enjoy a romantic encounter once a year, whether we need to or not.

You know the healthy kind, not that stilts and oven-mitts crap.

Of course not everyone can be so lucky.

regards.....kk (wink,wink)

Yeah, and setting impossibly high standards. When I say I want a whopper, that doesn't mean sell me a Vienna sausage. Thanks a lot porn! God forbid an 0-----m should be part of the deal too. For that matter, why are there so many Ron Jeremy's and not enough Eric Bana's to go around?
:-(

Proof of that? Sounds like a BS stat to try and make porn seem bad.

Before you start threads like this again op, know this. Adults are going to do what they want with their own body no matter what others say. Even if you make porn illegal people will still do what they want with their bodies. You are NOT going to stop a girl from doing porn if she wants to. They could all work the same # jobs most people do but they dont, they want easy money. But its not easy as you say. Get over it, stop worrying about what other people do with their bodies. If people would get it through their heads that they are not going to tell others how to use their own body this world would be a better place. Hell our jails would be empty because it wouldnt be filled with people that put things in their bodies others dont think they should.

I can't keep my fingers still any longer....this is the second anti-porn thread I've seen started on ATS in recent weeks.

What's the problem with porn? It's an industry like any other. Some people like to work in an office all day, keying data into a terminal; some others like to use their hands to build homes, furniture; some others like to spend their time being filmed for a living. All industries are open to exploitation; why single out porn just because it's about sex?

Everybody is entitled to have opinions but nobody is entitled to force those opinions onto others.

Save the exploited, deal with the exploiters but be sensible and let be the unexploited and non-exploiters to conduct their own business as they freely choose.

I own a porn site. It might surprise some people to learn that the porn industry, like any other, has both male and female bosses. I'd go as far as to say that it's the most open section of both society and business out of all of either. How many companies do you know that would readily employ any body shape, size or color regardless of deformity and academic qualification? There's even alien* porn. Would your boss employ an alien?

Porn, like any other form of entertainment, owes a great deal to special effects, lighting, camera angles, editing and "usually" poor scripts not to forget support staff (think fluffers). Be careful not to confuse what the industry puts across to viewers, to help feed the viewer's satiation, with what actually happens. You'd be surprised how much amateur isn't and how many neighbor's wives aren't. There's a reason the people being filmed are called actors.

Now stop criminalizing and demonizing men and settle down to some quality entertainment. Porn of the dead is a good comedy video.

*no aliens were hurt during filming.

Good post Cybertroy
I can understand every ones point of view regarding this topic, I have a few friends who have stopped watching pornographic video's and pictures all together simply because of this same issue and also the main reason being: Porn IS addictive.. and it DOES make you want more. I know what you mean when you say you became more interested in bizarre things..that is what porn does. I didn't even know what words like "beastiality" "BDSM" meant until I got into the dark side of porn.

I can understand people watching pornographic material because they have no sex life...I myself would prefer to goto an adult shop and look around rather than going to a brothel any day. But I mean paying for adult DVD's, isn't that the same as prostitution in some ways? I myself am not addicted to porn, I'll be honest, I don't mind it either.. but this post has definitely given me some good insight as to what people feel.

Peace out.

Wow where do these threads come from.....just when you think you have seen it all you have a porn connoisseur that has throughly done his research by watching every known porn and then post a thread telling us its bad and not to do it. This site slips further down into the mud and propoganda realm everyday. I thought there were moderators here. I guess they just moderate bad language not bad threads.. This site has become a major propoganda site for anti-semtics, anti-blacks, anti-capitialism and its washed in a kool-aid colored robe of free speech. Hmm I vaguely remember a slogan for this site "Deny Ignorance" not "Lets Bathe In Ignorance"... come on guys

Be careful what you put into your mind. It affects your soul.

Or your sole depending on what you believe
I didn't realize porn affects your shoes

I think shoe size correlates to viewing requirements.

At least I think that's how it tie-in.

Are you old enough to be told which domain names to avoid? Are you legally entitled to avoid them in your current geographical location?

My site's a free site.

Uh, yeah, it's quite obvious from the looks on their faces and their fake smiles and screams that they aren't really enjoying themselves. I mean, i don't know how many times i've seen some guy nut all over a girl's face and she is obviously trying as hard as she can to not open her mouth or position her face where it will hit her lips, eyes or hair. Some even can't help but develop a look of complete disgust, but you know what? It's their choice. They made the choice to do it, for money. Some people will do anything for money, women and men alike. They could have chosen to work a different 'career' or job. There are always jobs out there to choose in place of doing porn, even if it's at the gas station or grocery store. I laugh when i see porn sluts with looks of disgust on their faces because i know that particular person will do anything for money and its all on them. No one made that choice but themselves.

"this is what you pretty much see, a pretty smiling girl covered in man goo. She smiles, but much of the time it's fake."

To be honest, this is the reason why most porn TURNS ME OFF. Because it's fake. It serves no purpose.

Thank you for your post. It's important to shine the light in some dark places.

Here's another great website to check out where firsthand accounts, experiences and testimonies of people in the porn industry, strip clubs, etc. can be found: www.xxxchurch.com

It's also interesting to note that a number of people have been helped to come out of their attachment to porn. A couple of video success stories can be found here:
Spouses Success Story Video
Man's Success Story Video

Porn addiction is insidious and destructive to all the lives involved but there is help for those who recognize there's a problem.

Blessings!
