Unfortunately its how people are. I am not gay or bisexual, im not curious at all to "see what its like" and all that, but i have many gay friends,
i've had gay people feel attracted to me and I've even been to a gay bar. Why? because im comfortable with my heterosexuality so much that being
around gays is not a big thing to me what so ever.
There are many reasons why people are against gays though. They feel its right, it may insult their beliefs, it may go against their religion, they
may feel afraid that they have homosexual erges and don't want to express them, they feel that society is based on man to woman relations instead of
love in general, it could be because of a rape indecent, and it could be because of society and biased remarks or mass effects from many people giving
their rude opinion on it.
They are all great reasons why gays people should be against gays, however, they are only great in the minds of the people that are against gays. In
the minds of the open (you and me), equality reigns supreme. Gays are merely people born differently, Suppression and hate is not the answer.
This is a very similar argument to the existence of god really. On one side we have people willing to give factual information on to why they are the
way they are and a great position on this based on knowledge, and on the other side we have people basing their opinion on judgment of another and on
hearsay.
And unfortunately, this will NEVER change. we may eventually have the majority of people in a certain area accept gays into society, but the numbers
of the "judgers" are to many.
EDIT: what people don't understand is that being gay is actually natural. in fact there are many incidences in the wild where animals change gender
to increase population (somewhat like a transvestite), in koalas, many females get so aroused from the presents of a male that they try and pleasure
themselves and other females with each other. Gays are born gay, if you are born the way you are then it is a natural act to be gay. (i can also prove
that statement).
The people that claim otherwise have not looked into science deep enough to prove their point, they are merely stating speculations. They have no
proof to back up their theories.
