To be released w/i 24 hours, over 650 scientists anf the U. S. Senate ]are calling the IPCC scientist (only 52 authors vs. 650+ dissenters) outright hoaxers and worse.

They point out that the chief author is dishonest in his assessments and other acknowledge the issue is money driven:

“Since I am no longer affiliated with any organization nor receiving any funding, I can speak quite frankly….As a scientist I remain skeptical.” - Atmospheric Scientist Dr. Joanne Simpson, the first woman in the world to receive a PhD in meteorology and formerly of NASA who has authored more than 190 studies and has been called “among the most preeminent scientists of the last 100 years.”

Warming fears are the “worst scientific scandal in the history…When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists.” - UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, an award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist.

“The IPCC has actually become a closed circuit; it doesn’t listen to others. It doesn’t have open minds… I am really amazed that the Nobel Peace Prize has been given on scientifically incorrect conclusions by people who are not geologists,” - Indian geologist Dr. Arun D. Ahluwalia at Punjab University and a board member of the UN-supported International Year of the Planet.

“The models and forecasts of the UN IPCC "are incorrect because they only are based on mathematical models and presented results at scenarios that do not include, for example, solar activity.” - Victor Manuel Velasco Herrera, a researcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico

“It is a blatant lie put forth in the media that makes it seem there is only a fringe of scientists who don’t buy into anthropogenic global warming.” - U.S Government Atmospheric Scientist Stanley B. Goldenberg of the Hurricane Research Division of NOAA.

“Even doubling or tripling the amount of carbon dioxide will virtually have little impact, as water vapour and water condensed on particles as clouds dominate the worldwide scene and always will.” – . Geoffrey G. Duffy, a professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering of the University of Auckland, NZ.

“After reading [UN IPCC chairman] Pachauri's asinine comment [comparing skeptics to] Flat Earthers, it's hard to remain quiet.” - Climate statistician Dr. William M. Briggs, who specializes in the statistics of forecast evaluation, serves on the American Meteorological Society's Probability and Statistics Committee and is an Associate Editor of Monthly Weather Review.

Of couse, the IPCC says GW is "proven beyond a doubt." And here's how they'll set up the Global Warming Court to punish polluting individuals:

so they're basically admitting their findings were for sale? how do we know someone else isn't paying them to say the opposite now?

Does this change the fact that we as humans are destroying our arable lands at record rates with mono crop GM plant life?

Or that we are destroying the Rain Forrest
At record rates

Add to that the destruction of the worlds Oceans and Fisheries.

I dont think Global warming is really our issue yet. I think the coming food shortage and massive depopulation of rural area's will come first.

Agreed, but it could change how many people throw money away to "neutralize" their carbon footprint

I didn't copy all the quotes and studies. The url contains dozens of new studies that have only recently come out and quotes people who still work for IPCC as well. They just acknowledge that money has been driving this all along.

Warming fears are the “worst scientific scandal in the history.

Here's the link:
epw.senate.gov...

You don't have to be afraid of warming, just that we've wasted time and money fighting something that doesn't exist when they could've been devoted to a real problem we could do something about.

Think of all the time and money wasted on GW that could've been used on these problems that we can remedy!

i read the link first time round and it is very damning. i even see once of our own people quoted which gives it more credibility in my eyes (since we're like the least corrupt people in the world, lol).

is the fact that there are so many dissenting scientists *proof* they haven't been bought? just wondering.

At the bottom of the post were lists and synopses of recent reports just from this month alone. These aren't quoted scientists, but independent studies from around the world of hard data that cannot be denied. You don;t need someone to give an opinion on them, they speak for themselves.

Good example: out of 12,000 Russian stations reporting weather info in 1990, now only 5,000 do and most of the missing ones are in one of the coldest places on Earth--Siberia!

Oh GEE, and Russia is supposed to become the one of the largest exporters of oil and natural gas. They dont' tend to benefit from an anti-global warming effort.
