My first question why would you let the "world" know(in this case I mean a small community) that you have extra food stored. Wouldn't this be something you'd like to keep a secret until the worst happens. Seems fishy, I wouldn't tell anyone, and farmers are usually very protective of there crop so I can't see a farmer telling anyone who didn't have a buttoned lip.

The government (USDA) is the worst. A few years ago they tried to foreclose on me. Then I had the loan officer investigated by the office of inspector general, twice, one time by the Atlanta office and from Washington because what had happened is that he had been arrested for a coc aine trafficking charge at the time that my money went missing and I found out that he had paid a man to take the rap for him so that he would not have to go to jail and lose his government job. They told me that he had never been involved in drugs. I just sent them a copy of the newspaper article where he had been arrested and told them that they didn't want to find anything on him. I have even called the congressmen and senators from my state, but they will do nothing.

All the government wants to do is separate us and take us down one at the time. As long as we let them, they will continue to do so. I may never get anywhere with the usda, but I intend to be a pain in the a$$ as long as I can. What they did to me was obvious and it was wrong.

How can they rightly do that? How can officals not allow proof of payment? That is completely bizarre! Question? Are the people you buy your seeds from making you buy GM seeds? Or are you able to use "regular" seeds for planting?

Also what was the complete outcome of above? Did you pay it again? If so, then would they accept that proof of payment?

How can the USDA have that kind of influence over farmland? Wouldn't it be the banks only, if you had loans? Does the USDA directly ever take people's land, if so, why do they have any right - or liens on it?

I am sorry, I am not well versed on what happens with these things.

I did at one time have a "farm" outside of Nashville - but did not "farm" it, I leased out the land to various people - for various things.

When they reported that veterans were arrested at the RNC convention - and those veterans were being unruly? - YET there is also a youtube video of them simply standing with signs and chanting - no unruliness.

The big question here is why would the authorities want to steal other peoples property for no legitimate or lawful reason. Well the only answer is to spread fear and terror into those who can see whats coming and are starting to plan for it.

These people are just fascist thugs who stole other peoples property, they are trying to incite a reaction from the people just so they can have another Waco and then tell everyone that there are terrorists everywhere. They are just human scumbags that want tyaking down full stop.

I also find it curious that wal mart has a new logo / insignia placed on their buildings. I don't shop there, so I don't know what is going on with them.
My mom in law says they are "upgrading" and making aisles in the store much wider for some reason.

I believe this raid was to send a clear message to everyone else, to not even bother trying to grow your own. There is going to be one big push for people to be forced into relying on the govt.

Using children in the scenario makes it even more frightning. What other family would want their children subjected to that?

Really, if American does not stand up now, we are lost forever.

I have a few questions and I am not taking sides.....

-What exactly is non-institutional beef?

-Is it beef just sold to households and not to restaurants, hospitals, banquet Halls. ect?

-Is this beef that is un-tested and or graded?

-What process is it put through to say that its safe?

-Other then this non-institutional beef did they discover any other violations such as illegal or suspicious activity with the money made from this food co-op?


The beef testing in the United States is terrible. I believe we only test less than 20% of our beef and that needs to change. I remember a few Mad Cow scares in the recent past and the banning of U.S. beef in other countries.

As for the aggression used, I believe every raid is handled in the same way. Its protocol. It does not matter if they are raiding a private home with unarmed civilians, including children or not. At times it's a bit much to accept but protocol is put in place for the protection of all parties involved and to prevent collateral damage.

Again I am not taking sides. I'm looking at it from an investigative point of view.

If they are found to have been in violation it's one thing. I believe SWAT was a bit much and it could have been handled with a bit more civility.

If it's found they weren't in violation then this is very, very bad.

Perhaps we need to consider moving our food supplies to safer areas for those of us that have them. Just in case.

I'm not overly worried about my food stores being taken. Although I have taken notice to some rather odd things happening out here lately that might change that, but that is another thread all together.

I still think there is much more to this story than is being told.

There's more to this than meets the eye. The food thing seems like a cover up for something completely different. This could have been handled with the local authorities and through the court system like any normal liscensing problem.

This just doesn't feel right.

A tainted food supply maybe? A loner in the department that doesn't like food COOPs? I have not idea. Just a guess.

I am not ready to throw in with with Socialism/Government food control group on this one. I don't think Ohio would be the focal point for food control.

I'm having a hard time with SWAT doing this over food. Drugs, terrorism, hostage situations have SWAT written all over them. Food, not so much. Makes we wonder what information we aren't getting. Too many puzzle pieces missing for it to make sense yet. It would be nice if we could get the cop side of the story. Then we can pick both stories apart and try to find the truth.

Whether or not it has to due directly with this story, I am sticking with my beliefs which I have voiced in the past. Corporations want the food chain and will most likely get control. I might be another 20 or 30 years but it is coming. Many factor such as credit, genetics, etc will just help to make this happen.

The Ohio Morning Journal is not MSM. The original story quoted them as the source, however they didn't report any such thing. Most people don't check out sources- they just react to the story. This is strictly blog generated and C&P word for word on other blogs after that

This would be the credible news source I've been waiting for... this website, headinthegame.newsvine.com... , is actually owned by MSNBC and is an accredited site. So for all the nae sayers... I may have been one; we now have the proof that this story is indeed true.

I believe that most people have a problem with how the police handled the situation. Your arguments about "what if's" is irrelevant because they are not the reasons why the police where there. Not to mention that the police never informed them of why they were there or what they were looking for. Even IF they were raiding a meth lab, they would have to have a warrant and they would still have to divulge the reason for why they are there even if it's obvious. That is what your law states and by them not doing so, the police have broken the law as well so by your logic, every single one of those police officers deserve to have their homes raided and have their families held at gun point while not being told why they are being held.
