Thats 4 earthquakes in the region over 6.0 magnitude in the last week alone!

What is going on over there!?
We have had some recent warning about major earthquakes coming in the US.

I think a massive on causing major destruction would be a good start to the Obama Youth Corps.
Time for some civil works projects to boost the economy.

China is already creating jobs for citizens by sending them to the areas destroyed by their recent earthquake.

Now all we need is a manufactured earthquake here in the US.

HAARP anyone?
Or maybe HIPPUS, a potential successor already active, as discussed in another thread recently?

Or maybe, just maybe, they're random earthquakes we can do nothing about. Something inside the Earth causing it?
Maybe to upcoming 'galactic alignment' is starting to have effect?
Maybe the sun is upto something?
Maybe its aliens?

Or maybe a really fat person tripped over a step.
Just some of the possibilities, I think all of them are just about as likely as each other.

However, my understanding of Geology is that seismic activity has been reducing recently, with many 'big ones' overdue. I thought maybe its somehow all related to the interior of the Earth cooling due to some unknown phenomenon, but it appears I may now be wrong.
Maybe it's just took an extended lunch, and has to plough through the rest of the afternoon by making a right mess in the next few years.

Maybe I should shut up because I don't know if I'm making sense or not

OK, I'm going to step out on a limb here and see if someone breaks it off. I am nowhere near as adept at geologic science as many other on this forum, but I wanna take a stab at something.

As I understand it, earthquakes are sudden releases in stress from interacting tectonic plates. As stress is released in one area in the form of an earthquake, it sends out ripples of pressure variants on the earth's crust similar to ripples of water in a pond, except that these variants tend to travel along fault lines instead of equally in all directions. When one of these ripples reach an area which has built up extreme stress, it triggers an earthquake in that region, which results in more ripples traveling to other areas, etc.

It seemed for a while we had a back-and-forth between China and the Alaskan peninsula, with Greece, I think it was, getting a few shocks as well. Now we have this happening in the Southern Pacific. Would I be wrong to say that this could trigger something via ripples in the area of Chile soon?

As we can see on all the HAARP charts something major happened at 12 UTC
But notice at 16 UTC on this graph how the graph spikes up and then there is no more reading. We will have to wait and see as these images and aftershock keep showing up.

Notice again the change there at 12:00 UTC.

I STILL have little understanding of what these HAARP graphs mean...anyone care to explain?!

Is that the region buy Krakatoa.
There was a Nova or some TV program that highlighted that area.
It still has many quakes.

The Total Electron Content chart indicates the level of ionization of the upper atmosphere. In the daylight there is more ionization so the graph shows peaks on a daily cycle.

The Induction Magnetometer shows changes in the Earth's magnetic field which occur naturally for various reasons. The chart you've shown is actually showing very little variation.

As far as the earthquakes, I guess it depends on your definition of "same region". The Loyalty Islands quake was about 5,000 miles from the Sumatra quake. Sumatra is an extremely active earthquake region, having at least 8 quakes over magnitude 4 in the past month alone.

H.A.A.R.P. ( PROJECT BLUEBEAM ) if it is real, is supposed to cause earthquakes exactly 10K ( 6.21miles ) deep in the earths surface. Look at the depths of the quakes. You will see a lot of these in China.

HAARP might cause atmospheric explosions ( some people say does, will )
due to the non Relativistic reaction of atmospheric gases to heating.

Hydrogen molecule heating for separation into atomic Hydeogen is 1000x
less than the recombination back to the atomic molecule H2 configuration.
Heat in is not heat out (Relativistically speaking),
its Heat in and 1000x heat out.

Perhaps the reaction of the rest of the atmospheric gases are secret
cause the H2 reaction is still secret is to some people.

Bluebeam is a holographic invasion of aliens (in Tesla craft?).

I'm still on the fence with HAARP although I do find it very interesting.

One thing that possibly explains the depth being the same is that the gigantic layers of rock over a given area are roughly made of the same thing and the same depth over a very large area or region. It would seem very probable that in a given region that is getting seismic activity, that depth would remain relatively constant.

What I do find odd is the relation to the waves sent out by HAARP that you find on graphs that match up to the quake times.
