I'm sitting here watching Barack Obama speak in Henderson, NV

...He made a comment just a couple minutes ago "McCain has called me every name in the book, except the son of God"

I know some think he is the devil, jesus, anti-christ. I personally don't believe that. I'm posting this because there might be a few of you out there that will get a kick out of this.

I heard Obama saying that and I think it's silly. McCain has called him a socialist and naive but he has also said nice things about Obama and even stood up to people at his rally who were saying Obama was a Muslim.

Obama has a victim mentality and is trying to play not only the race card, but the sympathy card as well.

I hope that McCain wins and Obama goes back to Chicago to stay.

who's playing the sympathy card? "I know I'm the underdog" "I'm ok with being the underdog" "I like being the underdog"........ what is that?

If you look at both candidates objectively and without bias, its amazing what you can see. You limit yourself when moving forward with blinders on. And before you "accuse" me of being in favor of either candidate, I am not in favor of either one.

Obama seems to be the only one with a God complex. I watched him give a speech in front of bishops and cardinals among other people and he stated "Despite what you may have heard I wasn't born in a manger" and then gave 2 or 3 more reasons as to why he wasn't God or the Son of God.

Wow, perhaps you should have watched that speech in full, as well as mcCain's speech at the SAME EVENT just before Obama went on. The speeches at that even are traditionally funny. The two candidates participate in a "roast" of sorts. Obama was JOKING about the fact that some people have referred to him as "The Messaiah". Shoot, there's threads on ATS asking the same question, as well as "Obama is the anti-christ". So, if he makes a JOKE about it, then he has a God complex?

The thing you are missing, is that at any given time, there are plenty of people, that beleive theya re here for a purpose. Obama believes that. That does not mean we think he is who some black people claim, lol.

It will be interesting to see what he is supposed to do. I wonder what bill clinton, meant when he said it was the biggest fairy tale, since when ever. What is the message behind the scenes.

Also obama cannot blame people for it, as he has campaigned like a cult leader, in the style of jim jones. The hysteria he has brought about in people, is on those levels. Who ever is behind him, knows what they are doing, and of course most of the media, have been in te can for him, lol.

I do not care who wins, i am just an observer from london looking on, seeing what the fuss is all about. I like many am intrigued, to see what is supposed to happen, lol.

I just think behind the scenes, countries have leaders that all believe in the occult, and i believe obama does too. He believes he is destined for this role, like other leaders in other countries. Hitler called it providence, and people called him mad, but leaders do beleive those things. Is that having a god complex, not sure, but plenty of folks like to think they have a purpose.

Layla beat me to it.
...nice spin there "seejanerun" You know perfectly well that it was that dinner charity event with McCain and Obama where the candidates try to be as humourous as possible. Yeah, like Layla said, more like a mutual roast.

You want me to watch a Youtube video to convince myself Obama is the anti-christ? Umm, no.

And your whole thing goes out the window, because Ann Dunham never pretended to have a virgin birth. if she had two black husbands, or six, doesn't matter. Your article point to a suppossed virgin birth, which no one has ever said in relation to Obama.

I wonder about people like you. When Obama finishes his term as President and starts touring the country with Bush and Clinton, and someone new is being called "The Anti-Christ", do you dissappear? Do you change your screen name and never look back at silliness such as this?

That is McCain espousing the blatantly obvious... He's behind in every poll, he refuses to surrender, and he is stating fact to draw sympathy.

Or

Unless to motivate his base YOU think he should be cheering he's only in second place?

Forget all the speeches and see what the real swindle occurring is....the 2 candidates that your media has put up are both jokes. The first being the offspring coming from a long line of Military Brass who crashed alot of planes and eventually got caught and held prisoner and the second being some "Johnny come lately" with a rockstar following and no experience.

To run the worlds largest economy and largest Military machines you have a choice between a Geriatric and a Green Horn.....blind "Freddy" can see your headed for catastrophe.

Please, bring back the arena full of lions, though I hate to see such fine animals choke and gag on tainted meat.

It is a travesty of Christianity to spout some of the nonsense I see here. If this is the caliber of The Gospel according to St Mccain's crowd, some of the things I see regurgitated here, their only one step slower than the Muslim extremists that twist the Koran to justify killing innocents for Allah.

Really, this is just the same type of fruits, with a different flavor, as those idiots proclaiming Obama as the second coming. I don't tar all Republicans with this type of thinking. The people preaching such off the wall crap to both sides, and striking a paranoid nerve in the gullible, didn't get hit with the idiot stick, they fell from the top of the Stupid Tree and hit every branch on the way down.

And what, Kevin Rudd is a perfect example of a natural born leader? The same guy that dropped $18k US on a trip to a NY strip club? Yeah! way to go! That's a perfect example to follow!

THAT is a statement of fact. Have you seen the polls over the last month? There is 100% truth in what McCain is saying. And in the primaries he was written off very early but he came back after being the underdog for a long while.

Obama's whining is worse than any of the terrible two's I went through with my 4 daughters COMBINED ... and they are very close in age so I went through a VERY long period of terrible two's with my last two being twins and giving me a double whammy!

Obama feels that he is above it all - above any criticism. He can dish it out but he certainly can't take it. I hope people come to their senses FAST and that Obama loses by a GIGANTIC margin.

One of the big problems is that there are preachers all over the country right now are saying Obama is the anti-Christ. I've met a few in person even. Let's not forget The almighty arrogant, elitist idiot rush limbaugh. He spouts on sarcastically on a daily basis about "the messiah".
Not to mention louis farrakhan's messianic comments. The sincerity of each of these people are irrelevant. I could care less about their motivations. All that matters is that are a lot of feeble minds out there that will pick up on it and run like Forrest Gump.

Don't worry Res ispa, people like sky watcher have been around for 2000 yrs. People like him/her tend to fade off after they realize how stupid they sound or are blatantly proven wrong.

SkyWatcher ... thank you for your post. I never thought in a million years that I would believe something like that but looking at the weird times we're in and looking at all the similarities he has to the supposed anti christ it really makes one wonder. The similarities are truly odd.

Forget how you define antichrist. The fact that this disgusting fraud likens himself to anyone with substance...anyone even remotely like Jesus who had a moral center of his own and didn't have to disown or rethink his associations every FREAKING weak. I'm of course speaking of Obama when I say fraud. I am ashamed that the democratic party has put this idiot, egotistical loser up as the standard bearer. ASHAMED. How dare they back us into this corner. I hope if American's inner voice betrays it that we will survive an Obama presidency. Please may it never happen. Not in my lifetime.

ummm apparently you missed that I was responding to the post claiming that Obama was playing the sympathy card... I was merely pointing out that McCain is playing the sympathy card as well and perhaps we are being one sided when we make these accusations. They are both playing political hardball. I dont think he should be cheering he's only in second place as you stated... in fact, I dont think anyone should be cheering yet..... not much to cheer about.
