Thanks guys.

I have to tell you, riddles are probably my families all-time favorite activity. My dad used to have a GIANT riddle book that he read to us each night like a bedtime story, and would see if we could come up with the answer by morning.

There's still a ton that get me though. I wasn't the best at paying attention all the time.

I guess it's my turn now. So here's a short goody that I remember giving me fits when I was younger.

What English word retains the same pronunciation, even after you take away four of its five letters?

Okay, here's one:

I am weightless, but you can see me.
Put me in a bucket and I'll make it lighter.
What am I?

Queue....

:bnghd: ....that one hurt my head trying to figure out.

Here's another one:

I welcome the day with a show of light,
I steathily came here in the night.
I bathe the earthy stuff at dawn,
But by the noon, alas! I'm gone.

Nobody has answered my riddle yet Sauron, when would you like me to give the answer (if at all)?

Heres the riddle:

Here is an extended version of Sauron's first riddle of the thread.

A person stuck in a steel room with a steel door.

The steel door was locked and there were no windows in the room.

The following items were inside the room with this person:

a piano

a table

a saw

and a bat.

How did the man get out? (3 ways)

If you want a clue, go back to the first page. That is all the help I will give.

I'll take a stab at it....

Cut the piano in half with the saw...two halves make a hole...climb out the hole.

Cut the table in half with the saw...two halves make a hole....climb out the hole.

Cut the bat in half with the saw....two halves make a hole....climb out the hole.

I figure if it is good enough for one, it's good enough for all.

I'll move on with a new one.

A man is six feet tall, is a clerk at a butcher shop, and wears size 11 shoes. What does he weigh?
