I am merely commenting on the news story regarding the interview with Joe Biden. Are you trying to shut me down too? And Barry is one of Obama's given names. It illustrates the point that we do not know who he is. Until I see proof, I will call him Barry.

Barry Soetoro is not a given name of Obama. This is a theory that someone came up with and is still, to this day unsubstantiated.

Please provide a non user-generated source for the claim that this is a given name of our political candidate.

Again, they don't want to deal with a Minion of McCain. They had no problem with the interview or the questions but the Minion of McCain. And Barry is not his name, it is more Republican BS.

Are you saying that the questions regarding his own bold statements should not have been asked him? If you make statements like Biden made, you had better be prepared to explain yourself to whomever asks the question.

Barry Soetoro was the name the Obama registered under while in the Indonesian schools. He was adopted by his Indonesian step father.

The source you listed does not provide any documentation to back up their claims.

Show me copies of paperwork, not biased propaganda websites.

The standard of "truth" you require to disprove the Barry Sorento story, I will require to prove it is even an issue.

The burden of proof lies with the person making the exceptional claim.

Once again, they have not stated they had a problem with the question but that she is a McCain Minion. And Barry is not his name, it is more BS. Just like the "Black guy carved a backwards B on my face!" BS and the "Obama will tax you if you make more then 42,000 a year!" and so forth.

purplechiten.files.wordpress.com...

The AP caption reads: “This registration document, made available on Jan. 24, 2007, by the Fransiskus Assisi school in Jakarta, Indonesia, shows the registration of Barack Obama under the name Barry Soetoro into the Catholic school made by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro. The document lists Barry Soetoro as a Indonesian citizen, born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, and shows his Muslim step-father listed the boy’s religion as Islam. (AP Photo/ Tatan Syuflana)”

Oops. The document says he was born in Hawaii. Isn't the Republican stance that Obama was born in Kenya? So which is it? This reminds me of a book by Tom Clancy. Executive Orders. A former VP is trying to prove he never resigned, even though he did. He is being very public about it in trying to smear Jack Ryan, the man who was made VP after he stepped down, who then became President after a plane was crashed into Capitol Building. But when he files a lawsuit to attack Ryan he seals his own fate as the case was him suing the President. You can not sue yourself, and so Ryan was sealed as the President. So either this document is Obama, or Barry as you call him, or he was born in Kenya like the Republicans have been screaming for months.

We are going way off topic here. Anyway ... You wanted to know who Barry Soetoro is not where he is born. That issue will be settled in Supreme Court.

If this document is indeed related to Barack Obama, which is questionable if it is the same person, as has been pointed out many times over, this does not mean he is not a U.S. Citizen.

His mother being an american citizen, who spent more than 5 years of her life in the united states, would automatically make Obama an american citizen.

Mr. Obama, would be allowed to keep his american citizenship under dual citizenship until he reached the age of majority.

Things to remember: American citizens can not revoke their citizenship until they have reached the age of majority, and stand in front of a U.S. official, and renounce their citizenship.

So in the slightly off the wall chance that this is a valid document, it would not have any bearing on his qualification by natural birth to assume the office of the President.

sources:

travel.state.gov... (take special note to section F.)

www.aca.ch...

So even in the event that this document is referring to the democratic nominee, the argument presented is invalid.

I am glad you are such an expert on this topic. Read all the other threads and links regarding this issue to gain some clarity. This school registration form is just as valid as the shiny new copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate posted on the Obama website. Show me the vault original from dept. of vital stats. That is all Obama has to do. Simple isn't it.

God help us all. Isn't the request of the people that he wants to serve enough reason to produce the simple document. How can I trust a man that is striving for the nations highest office, if he won't honor the requests of the people. This attitude that "he doesn't have to" bogus. Obama clearly thinks that he is above question and that is alarming. I guess he is accountable to no one. If you want that type of leader in the White House than so be it. He apparently has the election in the can according to the MSM.

when your argument fails, you move to ad hominem attack strategies?

That is a separate argument.

You're not even using the same standards against the republican candidate. If you have a problem that Obama is running for president, and think he wasn't born on U.S. soil... stop and consider that it literally took an act of congress to declare McCain eligible.

www.washingtonpost.com...

McCain also has refused to release his birth certificate.

Minion of McCain? She started out as a Ron Paul supporter. Obama DID go by Barry in High School. Look at his yearbook......Also his Grandmother says he was born in Kenya, she was an eyewitness.

She asked tough questions. Joe whined and didn't answer.
Now the Obama camp is taking their ball and running home.

You are on your talking points this morning aren't you??

What was so biased on the interview? she just asked him to explain what he had meant on his comment regarding Obama?,just another case of the Dem's whining again,if you don't do things my way I'll take my ball and go home, how childish

You guys all get together for Rush Limbaugh this morning (Is he out of treatment?)

I don't see where the issue is. Let Colbert and Stewart have a piece of Palin....they could interview the denseness out of her in seconds.

If a political candidate dosen't like the way they were covered or portrayed.....I'm sure that it would be pretty hard to get them to do it again.
A wise man once said :

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

—President George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002
