Actually this guy is my very favorite guitar player and was very instrumental in helping me develop my personal playing style.

Gotta love Lightnin Hopkins and that mean Texas blues...he was an innovator.

He was also a huge influence on SRV, Hendrix, Clapton, Freddie King, Keith Richards and a whole list of others.

SRV still makes me cry after all these years. Saw him live twice. Amazing.

On the flip side, I have to give mad props to Michael Hedges.



(and back on the electric side, I highly admire Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree who seems to be carrying on in the footsteps of David Gilmore quite nicely.)

Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, that guy is the most creative guitar player I've heard in a long time..
