You do not have to get a good look at something to tell its proportions. You could tell the legs where longer due to the movement/speed/acceleration of the body. He would have been able to tell that it had long legs just by the fact that it was X amount of feet over ground (the waist) the percentage of the body he could see would only account for X amount of the estimated height. Many factors could lead to the conclusion of the elongated legs just through basic physics.
There are many factors included in his statement that are exected responses and highlights from someone who was in the situation, with the supposed surroundings. He stated hes a pencil pusher, so yes he had a good arsenal of words at his command to best give us his vision. And you all criticize him. With no basis of your own. It is alright to point one thing or two out, but when he responds accordingly take it, do not linger on somehting. heck for all we know, by the time you all realize he probably wasn lying, it will be sadly unexpectedly too late. Or perhaps some of us are gullible. I for one say he is telling the truth to the best of his capability.

yeah i am current military and he is looking at major prison time if he is telling the truth. this is a counterintelligence matter. basically he is giving secrets away. as part of the military, no matter what branch, u are not aloud to speak on active missions until debriefed or told otherwise. hope this helped u out.

I guess since I am a tax payer and American Citizen, I would have to go out on a limb and say, that if you are military and know about bigfoot or aliens... feel free to let the general public know. It is somewhat important for us to have our input on how "we" should re-act or evaluate since it is all of our tax money that supports it.

Also, please note, no disrespect what so ever at all for what the fine men and women of the armed forces and all they do for us.

I'll give you the benefit of the dought.

If you are relating the story as it happened to you it must have been scary as hell.

I been reading stories and every now and then starting a small one and its the same. There are so damn many who jump up and holler fake.

A lot of storys are fakes, or represented in a way to make something seem more mysterious.

The fact is it is entertaining to read the posts, and I think a lot of people here want to believe, most are looking for the incredible incidents to unfold.

Thanks for your tale, if you recall more or learn more, please dont let a bunch of nay sayers make you feel so uncomfortable you dont want to visit.

Teh 1, please don't quit posting on account of the jerks. Hey, go to bigfootencounters.com and click on stories sightings and click on the accounts of bigfoot(s) at Edwards Airforce Base. Very interesting. They apparantly roam all over the base and seem to understand they are protected there and have been videoed in the caves and tunnels where topsecret stuff is stored and there is alot of ufo activity there also. I had a bigfoot experience myself, they exist. There are many sightings, I'm in Missouri and I know Oklahoma gets many, many sightings. We get sightings here in Missouri too, but alot goes unreported because of the ridicule factor. Also, go to gcbro.com and read their reports. Also, I would like to hear what everyone thinks of the giant sequoia national park video footage. It is amazing. You can see the bigfoot and it is real I believe because if you have ever studied anatomy for drawing, you can see those muscles all over the place on this creature and they are huge. I mean, no monkey suit could have that definintion. Thank you Teh 1 for posting your experience, but you should post it at a bigfoot site where it will be taken seriously, not here with all these lamebrains.

What I can't understand is why our USA government can't invest in large amounts of banana's.

Just like recently on the news when the giant chimp (42 years of age and rather large) escaped from a Japanese zoo.. all failed to capture the big ape except the keeper that finally put out a banana.

If the US military would try using this method instead of a bunch of Gung Ho John Wayne's running around with guns, they might be able to get the ape-thing back in the cage (using banana's) .

I will e-mail my congress man and make this suggestion relating this current story and how a banana and not a bullet might save us all a lot of unnecessary amount of tax payers dollars being wasted.

I'm at page 5 and have to say this, the story smells of fishstyx style as we have seen in another previous thread. The guy is getting upset because he, like in the fishstyx story doesn't want to be slammed about inconsistencies of the story.

The story looks and smells just like the movie swamp thing. The one thing you all will notice is, he, is playing you. He tells you a little bit of something and pulls back to see your reactions. You call out for more with, ok, were sorry, please tell us more.

MCAS Is a Smallish USMC Air station. Not only would the creature have to navigate through town or the bay/river, it would have to get inside the wire. Then, once it's being chased, it'd have to get back out of the wire to avoid being shot, or run along the perimeter.

Last week Google Earth had locations of bigfoot sightings and their dates. New Mexico in the northwest had the most. Washington also had lots. This week Google doesn't have that information up. What's going on?

I recall doing "firewatch" once. I was in the Army Air Corp at RAF Middlewallop in Hampshire UK on stag on a Sunday night.

Info : RAF Middlewallop is by its nature an RAF - Royal Air Force Camp but they train the Army's pilots there etc (they also have a R&D hanger there which housed an Apache at that time from an airshow that had occured in Aug / Sept '90 if I recall correctly)

Gate guard and patrols were usually two on two off in hours. During one of the two hours back in the guardhouse a RAF Fireman asked for escort I was stood down from guard and given a "torch" (flashlight) a pickaxe handle and escorted this RAF Fireman around the camp basically checking doors securing stations etc, this was autumn 1990.

So maybe "firewatch" as is "torch" are UK terms.

Not if they are crossing via underground caves. Here in Missouri the Navy stores stuff in the caves. Which is weird unless they maybe navigate submarines through the undergrounds caves and river systems. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I think much goes on under our noses and feet!

Several times now the OP has said his story is untrue however the mods have done nothing about it. (I think the OP sound sincere, btw.) If the mods believe this story was untrue they would have added the HOAX label but they have not.

Anyone else find that VERY interesting?
