I've been back for a week. I sent you a U2U then. No worries, though. I can go with Wukky. Glad you are ok, though!

I don't blame you one bit. I'm terrified and kind of feel like I shot my mouth off by signing up here.

We'll see how it goes.

Wukky- the debate about Jesus being God. Are you referring to the Biblical debate as to whether or not the texts state He actually claimed to be God or just the Son of God? Thanks.

Yep thats the debate I was thinking of. The U2U system is down at this moment. However I hope that the moderators could find this and help set us up.

There is a full roster...I will be posting match-ups this weekend, sans topics which will be revealed as the threads themselves are being made.

Also, as far as the 'top eight' is concerned regarding a first round bye, the same ranked individuals will be differentiated by senority of membership...so the earlier you registered will determine who gets the bye out of you "2" rankings...and that has already been reflected in the above list.

Anyways, that sounds good to me. Or you can kick it off today, MS (if that is cool with Wukky) since all I'm really doing first is an opening statement.

Wukky: I just wanted to take a moment to thank you greatly for volunteering to do this with me. You didn't have to volunteer but it means a lot to me that you did. If you hadn't been willing, I wouldn't have had a chance to test the waters.

Okay you guys...I'll put it up if you can clarify the title and the positions...

I will be arguing the pro position and Wukky will be arguing the con position.

The debate topic was introduced by Wukky HERE, then I made sure we were on the same page regarding the topic HERE, to which he confirmed HERE.

Not sure how you guys want to word it but I would suggest something like 'Was Jesus God according to Christianity' or something along those lines.

Basically we are debating the point did Jesus claim to be God or was it something that came along later.

Hey if anyone drops I would be willing to debater by proxy... or if anyone wants help ring me on a U2U, especially if it has to do with religion in any way...

Did anyone get left out who still wants to debate? I'm still looking for a practice match. I u2u'd a couple of people but got no response.
