Ever notice that talking to truthers is a LOT like talking to religous fundamentalists?
Only "truthers" are more dogmatic and elss critical of thier "holy writ"?

Reading some of his blog it appears he never was a real 'truther' in the first place. IMO, no-one that truly believes 9/11 was a psyop to the point of starting a movement suddenly has a change of heart after watching such 'watery' films as 'screw loose change'. He was in the movement for just 1 year. Just long enough for him to appear 'commited'.

In my opinion, this guy is a govt shill. He's a modern day 'traitor' to his country. the govt must really be worried about the truth movement to resort to such dirty tactics.

This guy also resigned from the truth movement over 9 months ago. So this is hardly 'news'.

I concur. His rapid ascent and subsequent "reawakening" are suspect in my judgement. After all, if you are to plant someone in a group or movement to later discredit them, you'll use the most visible character you can muster. You get the most bang for your buck that way. If you were going to set up a Klan group, would you install some frail balding guy with a wimpering voice? Or- an authoritative and charismatic leader with familiar attributes, for those you're trying to deceive? I think those who answer honestly will say door number two.

It is entirely possible this guys story is EXACTLY as stated. But looking at the whole picture (as the OP loves to do) and weighing both sides, my scale leans to the fishy.

+1 to the poster on dissecting the OPs internal motives. Taking on such an arduous, and, ultimately futile task of debating a group of people you contend are not "all there" at best for hours upon hours. That is questionable in its own right.

Another interesting note is the juxtapose position the 'Debunkers' are in. As you highlight, the debunkers aren't interested in outside ideas, or actually learning anything.

What they are interested in is parroting their beliefs back and forth to each other with a serious disdain for anyone who dares challenge the official conspiracy theory.

A concentrated disinfo campaign seemed to have come from that site months before Popular Mechanics hit piece on 911. PM links letsroll as the flagship truther site. They are all in it together, from Vanity fair to the naudet brothers, letsroll to PM.

And to the poster who said no one had explained why the buildings collapsed, well, im betting that getting hit by big fast metal things full of jet fuel may have been a contributory factor.

Anyway, im sure there are thousands more who daily become "truthers" after watching loose change and taking it all as gospel, but thats just a sad reflection on todays society. Its a shame that one person finally thinking for himself, looking at the evidence and saying "oh yeah, i was wrong" makes news.

The irony is, people who DONT believe there was a massive government conspiracy are labelled as sheeple, when in reality its the muppets that swallow everything loose change says that need to wake up. Anyone who believes that the idiot bush was involved with this is as daft as he is. He cant tie his own shoes.....
