its simply not true. you try picking one roach out of the nest. this is a culture of over-inflation of government power in the intelligence/surveillance/technology sector. I say government, not military. The military is employing things in combat that are as advanced as some of you claim the government's powers to be. but that is different, it is not YET being fully used on the civil population; if Obama is the next President, these likely won't be used on the people at all, but who knows the future but God?

it takes time for the government to "Get onto you". first of all you have to be making a big enough pulsing red dot on the map of the continental united states. Theeen, your red pulsing dot, ie; you being a liability to the government in regards to true and shocking information being revealed that cannot be revealed at any cost, has to be the brightest one, and they have to hone in on it precisely to the exact location of where you are. this is a fictional description and not how it really works, but it is an analogy, a metaphor.

in other words.. the government must mobilize enormous resources just to track one man, a civilian in their own country! Notice i call it THEIR country, you're just living in it. but anyway. they can and will do so, but only if the threat is appropriate to the measures that would be taken. this brings me to my next point: there are varying levels of government harassment, monitoring, surveillance, detainment, etc. some people the government may consider terrorist suspects, and will go after them with everything they've got, spending millions and millions, tapping phones, using GPS precision, sending out entire groups of special agents from the CIA, you name it.

but there's another side to this coin. just like they can bring evil righteous wrath upon your life and make it a living hell, or make you dissappear, even doing THAT is a huge liability to them; even putting you in jail is a liability to them, because people who know that person who was jailed will say, "he has done no wrong, they are holding him because of what he knows!" to the local media stations, which is the last thing they want. so naturally, they have varying levels of surveilance and harassment you see. it can be a low level if you're just someone who knows a bit too much for their own good, but isn't a direct threat to secrets or security (perhaps in the case of the OP), where just wiretapping and phone disconnects, perhaps a little bit of following the OP around, thats about it though. They're not going to show up and assassinate the kid for calling Larry King, they're just going to make sure his call does not get through to live air, because they know that he knows things that they do not want on live air at all costs. They dont even know WHAT he's going to say, but they aren't going to wait around to find out!

Now compare this to a complete investigation against an active terrorist cell. They'd (the government) would be spending millions and sending many agents and using all of their resources of surveilance on them. But then compare that to THIS case .. they might devote 2 guys and a switch board, a computer, and a "kill phone call" button to press if the name's so-n-so, so-n-so, _OP's name_, OR so-n-so calls. There would be a list. The OP would be on it, if this was all true. Or, it could be a case of paranoia and a lost call.

OP, please keep the thread going if anything else uniquely strange happens to you, and disregard the negative responses. talk to those of us who know.

the problem with larry king is before his transition from meps he was recently deported from Slovenia and encountered a barage of ufo activity in northern whales.

You were most definaty being listened to. I worked years ago as a telecommunications specialist, and i'd bet my right arm on it.

Weird things happen to me with my phone also...how'd you like to pick up your phone and hear a very bored person on the other end whistling???
I said "whos this"??? and there was dead silence!!

That's with a dial tone and all!!!!!

I am Dutch, and here in Holland we have a place that screens all telephone calls automatically. Some computer program "listens" to hear specific words like Bin Laden, bom and so on. You do not hear this in any way, and by the bye I think it is only land lines they check.

Now I assume this kind of screening takes place all over the world. So if these aliens are for real or UFO's are man made highly sofisticated objects (with or without alien back engineering) then "they" might also check for words spoken that have to do with aliens/ufo's.

Furthermore, what is it with Larry King and UFO's? I have seen a lot of his UFO shows which are ALL THE SAME anyways. He always asking: if there aliens here why don't we know for sure now? And the UFO expert always: indeed it has been more than 60 years now, we should now know something more concreet.

UFO Reality's outlandish, unsubstantiated claims that Big Brother is watching him...in this, and other threads.....seriously calls into question his integrity and motives.

Furthermore, his association with Angelia and Ricky gives me pause to also doubt their "stories" now also.

What I see is yet another leech, sucking blood out of the UFO phenomenon.

Ha ,ha dgtempe I like your sense of humour .What you described in your previous post was the same as what happened to me,except I could hear someone take a breath before they hung up.I think what we have to take into consideration is as far as I know there has never been this much global ufo activity.Who/what /where is behind it is the question.Don't underestimate their paranioa and remember ,any group that holds power spuriosly without the peoples good will is ALWAYS ,always going to be on the look out for any potential threat to their power base.

Maybe back in the 50's-70's you might have been able to, but technology has evolved, and if you were tapped, there is no way you would know.

Don't you understand that the Larry King Live show is controlling the information in this case, as usual?

They don't want random folks with more info than deemed acceptable so it is highly likely that they are censoring.

And don't forget that he couldn't log in here for a while the next day. Look at what was claimed by Ricky Sorrel as far as the helicoptors and such. If you rock the boat too hard you will be squashed.

If you are writing a book about the incidents it doesn't mean that your credibility is any less valid.

Funny how many people want to make you look stupid or paranoid even on ATS.

Remember folks, disclosure of any kind will be on their terms, not the average citizens.

I think you have made a good point as to how they operate, just like telling Ricky to be quiet. You also are most likely one of the ones who they don't want running your mouth.

Good thread, this is the meat that we have to chew on to see how they operate and cut sincere people down.

I called the Larry King Live phone number and got through. I told the CNN operator lady that I knew Ricky Sorrells and she said I would be live. I had a question. I was on hold to be the first caller in last night and I heard a large pop and I was disconnected. Perhaps my phones really are taped and they cut me off. I've never heard a loud static pop sound like that before. Perhaps who ever intercepted and cut me off from CNN didn't want me to say what I was going to say regarding my conversation with a MAJOR from Lackland AFB.

Then I tried to call Dick Criswell to tell him about it and his wife answered. She said Dick was asleep. But when I spoke I could hear an echo. I'm talking a MAJOR crazy trippy echo. I asked her if I was on her speaker phone and she said no, just her regular phone. Funny thing is she could also hear me echoing.

So something is definitely up......and I'm "some what" scared

I thought I should point this out.

Same thing happened to me on Rush Limbauugh's show. The call screener told me I'd be on next, I waited about 45 mins only to hear the pop sound and get disconnected.

Interestedalways, you sure take a huge leap of faith and make many assumptions.

Do you believe everything you hear and read from posters here at ATS?

Do you not think there are leeches surrounding this phenomenon who would seek to gain something from it....a boost of ego?...monetary gain?...asked to be a guest on a radio show...or maybe even starting his own radio show?

It's so easy to claim government intimidation, because it's impossible to prove otherwise. If a poster can't bring proof of such outlandish claims, he shouldn't bring it at all.

If you did in fact speak with a Major at Lackland regarding UFOs and ETs, then what your intuition is telling you is probably the answer you search for being that You were cut off intentionally . Many posts here I have seen say to just call your phone company or CNN to determine what happened. Thats about as effective as sending an email to your congressman and getting a personal response. They always seem to just send back a pre-generated letter that says thank you for your email. However, if you would like to get a response simply threaten them and they will send the suits in suburbans.

I have talked about this experience in some threads and have experienced something a little more intense.

I had a relationship with a woman from Alabama this time last year. I met her on Yahoo chat. She drove 900 miles to Tx on 2 round trips (little extreme- total of 3600 miles traveled) to be with me. She use to be in the military but had to be discharged over an abdominal injury during a PT test. There were alot of folks in some of the chat rooms we frequented that really hated her and gave us alot of grief through electronic harassment. Cracking our accounts etc and general stalking behavior.

One day we were both talking on the phone about supernatural stuff, conspiracies, ETs UFOs etc. We both had our Yahoo messenger clients up with our webcams up when all of the sudden we were disconnected from messenger, our phone connections disconnected and both our electrical power went down at the exact same time. I knew this because I eventually contacted her and she confirmed what had happened.


So yes, spooks do watch some of us and they do, do things like this. Its not your personal paranoia that tells you this but probably a very real happening. Personally I think many folks arent paranoid enough in America and seem to try and explain things away with pure Mr Spock logic.

How do you prove that you were cut off? How do you prove what you heard?

Cut the guy some slack, he is just sharing his experience and has no reason to lie.

I just tend to trust most members until they have shown an agenda, I haven't seen that with UFO reality.

Yeah it's cordless and I've had it for several years. Never heard anything like the echo I heard last night after I heard a loud pop and was disconnected from Larry King Live.

I also get an echo from my cordless and also from my cell phone. It is not all the time just occasionally. Cordless phones suck. Use a landline. If you still have the same experience with a landline then maybe you might have something to worry about. However hearing an echo or being disconnected using a cordless can be many things. You battery could have been low. I also have heard many other peoples (from my neighborhood) conversations when I use my cordless. It doesnt mean anything, except maybe crossed signals.
