well the OP already answered that question in his first post and well half the time it isn't even consented meaning they could be accounted for rape.


I'm glad i'm not the only one who has seen the problem with post modern feminism. If I could or should even call it that. I used to be a club promoter, then switched to public relations and then to hotel auditing funnily enough (steady paycheck and security reasons). But yeah the type of stuff that I see that occur in clubs these days I would call it your modern day bordello.

We have always accustomed society with our role models. Women can't be blamed for their role models who go out partying every night. Getting drunk, hooking up with random guys. Shooting sex tapes.

Everyone has a social responsibility at the end of the day. I'm glad that a lot of the male posters on this thread have awoken to this problem.

I think it's too bad that many of you are making moral judgements on these girls, and not just their actions. Obviously what's being shown in these videos is cheap and deplorable, but who among you can claim to not have done some stupid things in those college-age years in the name of "fun"? Many girls at this age don't understand their own physical prowess and find the reactions and attention that they can get from men exhilerating. Most girls figure out pretty quickly that this behavior is only temporarily empowering and leaves one feeling cheap and empty afterward- and the ones with self-respect move on.

For those of you lamenting that these girls will probably go on to reproduce, and most likely sucker some poor guy into marrying them... you are right, many of them probably will, but most of them will grow up a whole lot between now and then. We all make mistakes; that's how we learn. One night of questionable activities under chemical and peer influence does not define a person.

I agree that it is a repercussion of several things. With equal female rights come equal responsibility that many of these girls are simply ignoring; plus there are no consequences beyond the moral degradation they suffer themselves. I personally believe it's a matter of lack of awareness and a lack of role models. The models out there have no role except to look pretty. Where are the strong female leaders? I'm sure there are many out there... even Hilary Clinton is a step up from the scantily clad women all over the television. At least she's achieved in her life and not prostituted her image. (Upon saying this I don't support Clinton it was just the first thing that popped into my head) Why are prominent female scientists, doctors, engineers, spiritual leaders, or other figure heads not given the media attention? Oh wait that wouldn't sell things and would demand too much respect, a feeling of responsibility and high expectations.

I've never understood the mentality of any girl who willingly enters the pornographic realms. I've seen interviews with some pornstars who love what they do and they don't feel exploited at all, it's an art form to them. I can respect that if it is what you are comfortable doing and is how you like to express yourself, as sexuality is a very beautiful thing when exercised responsibly. The girls who subject themselves to amateur pornographers and low-budget movies to make a quick buck are in another category in my mind. It is so derogatory it makes ME feel dirty and I'm a 21 year old male.

Totally for BREEDING PURPOSES, either we need to increase population or decrease it, I think this is totally a ZETAN PROGRAMMING GONE WILD.

America just gets dumber and dumber by the moment. Stuff like this has not really bothered me, per se, but I find those who engage in these activities tend to be the main idiots of the masses. I've definitely done my fair share of partying, but anymore it's not worth the trouble. From steroid pumped football jocks, to us curly haired, RBK hat wearing hockey players trying to "score" there's always a mix for just trouble.

Personally, I think you guys sound gay. I'm all for women degrading themselves, if it's their choice. If a person is 18 and over and not breaking any laws I don't see anything wrong with it.... It's all apart of freewill. Girls just want attention, and if this is how they have to get it, so be it... they're adults they have that choice

This is an easy one.


Simply bad parenting. But not in the way you might think.

The Bad parenting I am talking about is sexual repression. The more a parent doesn't engage their children in sexual discussions (when age appropriate of course), the more these kids are going to act out when older.


The same goes for drugs, and other habits we don't want to have in our society. Tell a child that drugs are bad and only bad people do them, and the chance the child experiments is much higher. When I was growing up I was epileptic, and my mother said "Some of your friends might be experimenting, and thats fine, but if you do your medication will react and you will die."

That was it.. it was very clear, it was *not* a moral decision which I could come down on either side of, it was simply "It leads to death for you", and I never touched anything.

The same should go for sex. This is the message we should teach our children. Sex is good. Sex is healthy. Sexuality is normal. People will try to use you sexually just like they do emotiionally or psychologically. Protect yourself.

If you don't approach it like this, and are repressed, you will end up watching your daugher on one of these shows.

I can't ignore it when it's EVERYWHERE, nor do I want it to be removed completely as I do enjoy the sight of a nice female body. GGW and other related material could be found offensive though, I'm not going to lie and act like I've never enjoyed porn, I'm human, but it is degrading. How would you like to find out one of your female relatives have done a porn shoot? How about a girl you fall in love with and find out she's on video at Mardi Gras? It's a sickening thought. If you could stomach that then go hard and be a supporter of the degradation of society, if you don't like that thought then I would not go around trying to excuse it. It's a corporation based on exploitation.

The Jackass shows were not even in the same league as porn. They were a bunch of guys goofing off and doing rancid things for laughs. They only hurt themselves.

Very well put. I don't understand the whole protection through ignorance state of mind. Children these days are exposed to everything anyway. The best thing one can do for their children is teach them to make respectful choices, for themselves and others. By hiding them away from it they have no general understanding and nothing to base an informed decision on.

I played in a band for a number of years; had loads of fans, women throwing themselves at me, guy's buying my round of drinks because it was cool to be with me. I gave that up when I wanted to earn some serious money doing web programming during the dot com bubble. Let me tell you, web programmers do not have fan clubs, no matter how good they are.

So what DOES get media attention? Celebrity. Actors, actresses & lead singers or solo artists. That's it. They're the ones plastered on every news program, every tabloid magazine at the supermarket.

Don't break it down on gender roles, it's a matter of the pedestal we as a society put our entertainment icons on.

Because they are being paid for it and being filmed doing it for audiences to watch. That is not natural. That is corporate.

This is not a new thing; wild parties have been going on since the beginning of time.
Think of the crazy videos that could have come from the roman bath houses.
This is just an example of some A** with a camera that found a market in a voyeuristic society.

This thread is about Girls Gone Wild. It is a matter of gender roles when I was talking about what female role models should be compared to what they are. But I do understand it is not a gender specific issue.

Are you off your rocker? I never said you should bring your kid a prostitute. I said, "don't act out or encourage sexual repression". There is a *huge* difference between what I said and you are saying.

Sex is driven into kids minds 24/7 sex sex sex on TV in commercials, movies , music etc etc. ( I kissed a girl and i liked it)

Then you have all these reality TV shows that are nothing more than mostly fame seeking trash who feel they want to be famous or need to be on TV to make themselfs feel important. Look at me!!, Look at me!!, even though I act like a complete damn fool im still important cause im on TV.

This is nothing new though people. Im 34 when I was 16 hanging out in the malls or downtown in my city their were plenty of girls 13+ that would teach you something. In the early 90's it really started goin down hill. Some kids are just wild but when they get sex shoved in their face by the media and music industry 24/7 what do you expect?


And then on top of all this noone takes personal responsibility no more. EVERYONE is always pointing the finger at someone else. I think you should take personal responsibility but to say the media is free from all blame is laughable at best.

Some of these girls have been taken advantage of but dont you dare think for one second a majority of them didnt do it for attention and to be on TV. They arent victims not all of them.


Not all women are ladys and if they act like a Ho they get treated like one.. You gotta let a ho be a ho.

These people will do anything for their 15 minutes of fame, rather its eating maggots and # or parading around naked on camera.


I did TONS of crazy stuff when i was young but i grew up, you have those who grow up and those who dont.


Also their is never equality in this damn world thats one of the biggest problems with it. A female teacher will mess with a male student and get a slap on the wrist while a male who did the same thing would be put under the jail. OJ can get off for murder while someone who wasnt famous or rich or black would have been found guilty. Male, female, rich or poor, white, black, mexican, asian seems like different rules apply for everyone and thats a fcked up world.

This is the way society is now and it will probably get worse before it gets better.
