Can you tell me why Bush wasn't able to plant some WMD's? He got his puppet Colin Powell to lie to the world convincing us that Iraq was making chemical weapons with their mobile labs....

Why didn't he plant some nukes? A few missiles here and there. Heck he made planes crash into skyscrapers...

Who knows why the evildoers screwed up so bad that they failed to plant WMDs in Iraq. Why don't you ask them? Probably for the same reason they screwed up 9/11 so bad that a third of the nation realizes it was an inside job.

How Did Iraq Get Its Weapons? We Sold Them

THE US and Britain sold Saddam Hussein the technology and materials Iraq needed to develop nuclear, chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction.

Reports by the US Senate's committee on banking, housing and urban affairs -- which oversees American exports policy -- reveal that the US, under the successive administrations of Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr, sold materials including anthrax, VX nerve gas, West Nile fever germs and botulism to Iraq right up until March 1992, as well as germs similar to tuberculosis and pneumonia. Other bacteria sold included brucella melitensis, which damages major organs, and clostridium perfringens, which causes gas gangrene.

Classified US Defense Department documents also seen by the Sunday Herald show that Britain sold Iraq the drug pralidoxine, an antidote to nerve gas, in March 1992, after the end of the Gulf war. Pralidoxine can be reverse engineered to create nerve gas.

The Senate committee's reports on 'US Chemical and Biological Warfare-Related Dual-Use Exports to Iraq', undertaken in 1992 in the wake of the Gulf war, give the date and destination of all US exports. The reports show, for example, that on May 2, 1986, two batches of bacillus anthracis -- the micro-organism that causes anthrax -- were shipped to the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education, along with two batches of the bacterium clostridium botulinum, the agent that causes deadly botulism poisoning.

One batch each of salmonella and E coli were shipped to the Iraqi State Company for Drug Industries on August 31, 1987. Other shipments went from the US to the Iraq Atomic Energy Commission on July 11, 1988; the Department of Biology at the University of Basrah in November 1989; the Department of Microbiology at Baghdad University in June 1985; the Ministry of Health in April 1985 and Officers' City, a military complex in Baghdad, in March and April 1986.

The shipments to Iraq went on even after Saddam Hussein ordered the gassing of the Kurdish town of Halabja, in which at least 5000 men, women and children died. The atrocity, which shocked the world, took place in March 1988, but a month later the components and materials of weapons of mass destruction were continuing to arrive in Baghdad from the US...

No, YOU get with it. I realize that the US gave many different weapons to many different country's in the past.

The evidence that Bush showed for justification for war was that Saddam was seeking WMD and he believed he had them. And that he was looking to make more.

In September 2002, the Bush administration said attempts by Iraq to acquire thousands of high-strength aluminium tubes pointed to a clandestine program to make enriched uranium for nuclear bombs.

Also, the Bush Administration used fraudulent evidence in asserting that the Hussein government had sought to purchase yellowcake uranium from Niger.

The point I am making here is that if our government was so good at the most massive conspiracy in the history of man, why could they NOT have planted ANYTHING to cover up the lies of the administration?

Why, then, have we not invaded Israel who has nuclear weapons despite not signing the treaty? And why has the war not stopped since not finding the wmd?

As stated above, he didn't need to plant evidence. Congress doesn't have the balls to do there duty and stop him("impeachment is off the table"). We are still in a war for which there was no evidence for, it's quite clear they didn't need to plant any evidence to get away with it.

Once they invaded Iraq and smashed up the country for a while who was going to kick them out? Why bother faking it, when they were already inside the country???

Take a look at what's happening there now... still, there are US troops inside Iraq, despite the government being caught out in a lie about WMDs.

What has the population and congress done about it? Nothing.

They got away with a lie and their arrogance rubs it in the faces of people who know that it was a lie. It's kind of like a chilling warning that they will do what they like, when they like, no matter what they do or don't say to support their actions.

They know that the public has a six-month memory, after which the details are forgotten, as the headlines fall from page 1.

EDIT: Besides, if they did plant fake WMDs there, how many would have they needed? Would ten missiles have been enough? Would the world's population be happy going to war over ten missiles? How about a hundred missiles, or a thousand?

They were far better off LOOKING for the WMDs, knowing that there were none, rather than risk being caught planting some or facing a backlash over the alleged number of WMDs found. At least while they were LOOKING for them, there's a potential that they COULD find many hidden arsenals. Which in this case was utter crap, but the general public still supported them smashing up a country 'on a hunch'. Remember, Team America was doing the right thing and saving us all from the 'terrorists'.
