Hey, what do you all think of the new media page?

I like it so far.

I'm thinking of starting a "this week in review" broadcast for it... the possibilities with it are endless.

Though I really didn't have anything to do with it. It's a picture I found on deviantArt, by acidlullaby. And I agree, it took my breath away when I first saw it.

Hi Frank, I see you have a question.

Debates can take up to one week to be judged though I think it will be faster for you this time as a result is needed rather quickly for tournament seeding purposes. We have a lovely bench, just chill on it for a bit and the judgement will be in before you know it.

Hi cw,
Shock is better qualified to answer this but I do believe the tournament registration is now closed. But you should fire a U2U to Shock so he can put you on the waiting list. We always get people dropping out at the last minute for rl reasons so there is a chance you could still make it in.

I think SDog's right about the tournament being closed. Semperfortis also might be able to tell you for certain, though, and he looks like he's online now

Alas, the tournament is now closed to sign-ups. On the bright side though, this tournament is setting a new record for number of participants accepted (we used to 16, then 24, now we're using 32) and with a little luck and a lot of coffee we'll probably come up with some means of taking even more next time, so stay tuned for future opportunities.

to me is nothing better than holidng a book in my hands

drinking age in germany:
sure there is one
but at least people seem not to be that mad abotu it as in the state


no acohol for those under 16
if you made the 16 you are allowed to drink beer in public

if you made th 18 you are considered to be adult
you are able to vote to marry to drink
what ever you like


if parents think it is appropriate for their 10 or 12 yo to allow them to nip champagne at new years eve . it is their buisiness as long as it is not in public

but you are not supposed to sent your child to the liquor store to get you booze
they won.t sell it to him and would ask for the ID card


btw, driving licence at the age of 18
but you can get the licence for a little motorbike with 16



three way debate would be a nice challenge

we once talked about a group debate

1 group boys and 1 group girls
maybe 2 or 3 participant of each sex
