I am a listener free of judgement - You may go on - If you're comfortable
You don't have to tell me anything that you don't want to... perhaps this story will help us get to the Root of your feelings

Why did you decide not to get the Doctorate? I completed 2 years towards my BBA, but decided I wasn't all that fond of the classes I was taking, so I graduated with the Diploma and left the program. Psych is a better field for me...

My feelings? Now what does that have to do with psychology?

Actually I'm pretty much set in that regard.
My wife has a degree both in psychology and one in criminology.
I think she only married me as a subject for her thesis.

Don't feel bad. The only reason my husband married me was to get his hernia fixed, or so he tells everyone.

Honestly after the last two years of nothing but psychological statistics physiological patterns I kind of lost interest.

That and I realized I would have a couple years of graduate school left, as well as possibly 4 more to complete the doctorate.

I decided the BA was enough.

It's a strange two degrees to have though. Part Psychologist, part Advertiser.

shouldn.t an advertiser be good in psychology?

I worked a little freelance after college and did some graphics work in my community; very little text work.

I don't really use either of those degrees in my current job, outside of my own amusement.

Hopefully I will soon though.

I don't see why we have to move the fan club to DATS.
No crappy crows up in here.

So what specific sweetness is tonight's discussion going to focus on?
This is going to be great.

Not exactly. I work for a residential treatment facility for adolescent males, but my job is administrative - I handle the database and our website.

We have 40 beds for DHS boys who are having problems (i. e. are not making it in foster homes) and 24 beds for boys who have substance abuse problems.

We are a nonprofit and I work in development, so don't ask me too much more or I'll start asking you for donations!

@Orange: Woot! I suppose I will have to slap that sucker on my profile and become an official MS fan.

(Umm .. do we need a disclaimer to say we are not fans of Multiple Sclerosis??)

LOL!!!

OMG.... The Agenda is still being discussed, is there anything in particular you want to talk about tonight? I was thinking, we could go for the "Pretends to be a Hard*** but is actually a Softy at heart" and how this leads the E-persona he has....
