Oh, well drat! I'm actually a little disappointed that I got squeezed up out of the first round, at the last minute... looking at the pattern, I guess it would have either been ancient lightbulbs or tasers. As you should appreciate, either would have been a 'shocking' debate (cue groaning). Sorry, that pun was a little flat - lacked that certain spark. I'll try to generate something better next time.

Glad to see the debates up as well! Can't wait to see who I draw in the second round. This is a great field and I'll definatly be monitoring these opening debates very closely.

For those who are waiting for the beginning of their respective debates, I ask for a bit of patience. Seems that some of the u2u's I sent haven't even been read and as well, some of the stand by's haven't responded.

I will continue efforts tomorrow and as well, if anyone knows anyone who wants to replace a Fighter, please say so or u2u me etc....

I was really hoping for a smooth first round...bummer.

For those Fights that have two missing opponents....

If a Fighter is ready to post an Opening after the 24 hour deadline has been missed, then by all means, please...

I just want to step in at this point and let everyone know that the current active debates are nothing short of fascinating and well done.

Despite the fact that a few debates have fizzled before they began, the first round is as much of fight as I had hoped for.
