Why do you think the Vatican has failed? A plan to fix it!

There's a movement out there to make Catholics and Christians look bad. It's not in a book, it's not in a newspapers. It's in people. It's word of mouth.
Nowadays, when you discuss religion with people, you are either a nut or a pedofile. How did this happen? I have a theory.
The non-believers came up with a plan, to take down the Vatican. Infiltrate their religious system from within and destroy it. How? simple really, destroy their reputation. Sounds familiar doesn't it? Yeah, it happened before. I blame this on the passive Vatican's who are older gentleman and take no action. Starting with the Pope. No one cares what he has to say anymore. He's old and can barely talk straight. He's more of a politician than a man of faith. We have to stop talking and take action to convert people, to show them the word of god. How do we do this? well, I have a plan. Much like the earlier Knights or templar or conquistadors, we need to form a religious army. We need to arm them with a bible, and if necessary with weapons to fight the evils of the world. Even if it means invading other countries and killing people. The vatican has to take action, can't just sit back and fade away. What we need is a soldier who will fight for God and those who oppose him must go away. I suppose we could call them the New World Order Vatican Army. It's simple, their orders would be to convert or kill. Those who oppose God's army are taken down and those who believe and wish to join the Vatican and build their own Vatican City on their country. Sure, sounds irrational and extreme, but think about it, if we want to survive as Christians we have to fight back and form a movement because giving Bible lesson is not working anymore. Discuss.

Had you been a muslim this would set off the alarmclocks in the corridors of CIA and NSA etc. The "plan" you have is just silly and arrogant. How would you justify the killing of a Buddhist just because he's not interested in the bible? There is more than one system that supports the love to our neighbours. If you don't succeed in a debate you somehow want to kill your opponent. You are a Christian fundamentalist on the brink of becomming a terrorist, do you know that? Not exactly a wise choice these days...

I would have an easier time with your threads if you didn't pretend to believe what you are saying.

The first concept is just absurd. Somehow I doubt that non believers cooked up a plan to send in sexy children to seduce priests in order to bring down the church from the inside. Sorry pal, but the priests did that all on their own.

The second point though is at least worthy of discussion. You are proposing to start up the crusades again. Essentially have a radical Catholic sect to counter the radical Muslims. I doubt it would ever happen. Times have changed and I just don't see the day when Catholics or the rest of western religion will turn a 180 and start religious wars again.

Not everyone who fights for their beliefs is a terrorist. Do you think that Abraham Lincoln was a terrorist? You are using the wrong labels here, people who have fought wars over the centuries were not called terrorists, they were called heroes. I recommend watching Braveheart. Was Moses a terrorist? He killed many people too. The point is, starting a religious war is the only way now.

I think it will happen again. and it should. would'nt you rather have had Christian soldiers go to Iraq and finish the job? moving across the middle east and stopping all the nonsense going on over there? It works, look at history. over our history, soldiers of faith and religion accomplish more.

Sorry, I am going to disagree with you here.

As far as the Vatican goes, it has been all over the news about how they cover up pedophilia within their own ranks. What people think of them is their own fault.

As far as Christians go, not all of them are Catholic, so what you are saying here by generalizing all Christians in with the Vatican doesn't make sense to me.

What I find profoundly disagreeable for me and Catholics is how they expect people (who are members) to come forward and admit sins. How long has it taken them to admit there are problems withing their own organization?

As far as killing people who won't convert? Ridiculous. How many more people have to die in the name of religion?

Sure, I would much rather have radical Christians fighting the radical Muslims. At least then both sides would be fighting for something they believed in as opposed to the current quagmire.

Sounds like a plan. Just get all the catholics together and point them at Mecca. The thought of all those little Arab boys should make them unstoppable.

Fair. but I ask then, how do we make people understand? there's a reason the vatican/Pope are the world leaders; the bible is their structure and people know this religion/belief to be right. No other religion has this much power. The problem today is that they are not sending out the troops. they are sending out the Pope to preach and try to change the world, and that's not working. there needs to be a plan, a change, a turn of events. the way I saw it, I could only come to the conclusion that they have to create an army and go actually do something. Defend, conquer and save the world.

He was a Sctottish nationalist and a terrorist to the English and who tortured and killed thousands of innocent people. I compared myself to them? I think you got the wrong person. I never said I was going to do this, I am trying to figure out a solution for our brothers, a war plan. Honestly, in my opinion, and this is coming from a person who is an ex-Catholic by the way, the problem with it, is the Pope.

An example would be the latest list of sins that just came out.

In my opinion, it was so out of touch with reality, it was more of a joke than guidance for the masses.

The Pope to me is a figurehead not unlike the Queen of England. There for show only with little accomplishment.

The Pope has little to do with the message of Jesus, and I think that in order for Catholics to convert people, they need to be more in the line of the original message of Jesus.

What "nonsense" are you referring to? Do you even know for sure why they are there? All we have are theories. Unless you're serving there right now, you can't say for sure why they're there.

You say that it worked throughout history, but after reading about human history, what if what you think you know is flawed? History is only written by the survivors/conquerors, not the people who are enslaved/killed/displaced.

Soldiers of faith and religion are no different than soldiers of (government) faith and (interpretted) religion. What is the job of a 'soldier' of religion, as opposed to a 'man of god' or a 'servant of god'? Soldier implies violence/force, and to kill, as put in your earlier posts.

Instead of diving us by faith, we should be united by faith in each other and ourselves.

Well, you are not correct. Most of the Catholic Church's doctrines and dogma are based on extrabiblical sources. The bible debunks the Catholic system as a meltig pot of sin. Instead of three festivals at it's appointed time, spring, summer and fall, they have one every day. Religious pictures are prohibited in the bible. Few have more art and idols than the RCC. You are not allowed to worship angels, saints and people. The RCC is all about that. You shall call noone Father on earth. Every catholic priest demands to be adressed with Father. And thus you can continue until the heavens fall down. The bible is not the system of the RCC. Period. It's mostly influenced by pagan beliefs and the teachings of the church fathers. Where did the Vatican fail? How about all over the line...

The Catholic Church, and organized religion generally, regardless of the dogma, has been it's own worst enemy for ages. Why do I need to make them look bad, they do a damn good job of that themselves.

Do any Christians in here have the balls to fight back? I'll do anything it takes to take our world back. the Vatican and the pope are like our government and they have failed us. shouldn't we come up with a plan to help them out? I was just talking about my plan, but I know that sitting down and talking isn't working anymore. we need immediate change.

Have you reviewed the terms of use lately? Looks to me you are on a quest to create a fundamentalistic terror cell here inviting us to join your crucade. I rebuke your attempts and I would like you to concider your "plan" and maybe consult some specialist on mental issues, for you want to be a general like Lincoln and Moses and want to bring about terror in order to convert people to your faith. Well, people are suggesting that people protest gasoline prices by not buying gas on certain days, or certain brands.
