Another OKC Bombing Hero "Commits Suicide"

Then a 14-year police veteran, he was among the first to respond to the 1995 bombing. His attorney later said he "pulled dead babies” from the rubble.

Kenneth John Griffin, 48, wasn't the perfect family man he appeared to be in photos.

In fact, if police allegations are true, the former Oklahoma City police officer was neck-deep in a murder-for-hire plot when he committed suicide in jail Thursday.

The Oklahoman was told that:

•Griffin, who had fallen for another woman, was plotting to have his wife, Maya Griffin, killed in order to collect life insurance benefits.

•He repeatedly tried to hire a killer before he was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

•On Thursday, he phoned his wife from jail to say he'd been set up, then hung himself in his cell.

That narrative — a story of betrayal and tragedy — is at odds with the images posted on his wife's MySpace page. In those, he smiles at the camera during family trips to Colorado and Mexico, his arm around his wife.

In those, he looks happy and fortunate, and there is nothing to hint at murder.

Since the Oklahoma City bombing, numerous witnesses of what really occurred on the day of that bombing have either been shot (including honest & brave Oklahoman police-officers) have been murdered, lynched, choked to death, and "suicided" at night. All of them have been falsely-accused of committing suicide.

I find it odd that for the first 4 or 5 hours, the media kept saying that 2 middle eastern men were seen at the building and leaving very fast right before the explosion occured. Then they report that information from the FBI & CIA was incorrect and that they were now looking for 2 American males.

Early reports also stated that two other bombs were found in the building, with evidence suggesting they were possibly larger than the first. Infact, I do recall a news reporter stating that he could see what looked like bomb disposal units moving in with equipment in the hours following the blast.

Lot of weird stuff about OKC that most people never bothered to think about until 9/11. And since 9/11, the people who would start asking questions, are usually too caught up in 9/11.

Read the book "Others Unknown" by Tim McVeigh's lawyer for a good introduction to the different angles that might have been played.

Starred and flagged. Glad to see more people paying attention to OKC lately.

Yes, but that bombing happened a long time ago. If all these things had happened the first year or two .. then there would be something to it. Time has gone on and I see no conspiracy of silence here. If someone wanted witness' wiped out, they would have done it much sooner. IMHO

There were others involved. I'm sure McVeigh was guilty, but there were others - IMHO.

There are a number of reports that have come out in the past week, I'm sure in conjunction with the anniversary (I always found that term macabre when not used in reference to weddings), but they are fairly compelling. One is photos of a Ryder truck on a nearby Military Base a week or so before the bombing. Others are affidavits from witnesses about additional bombs, as stated above.

I never thought McVey acted alone. Something about the story makes me think of the movie Hunt For Red October - when James Earl Jones' character shows his CIA i.d. and tells the Navy Sub weapons specialist -
"Now remember, this never happened and I was never here."

Or perhaps they are covering up for a gutless President who was too afraid to confront the Islamic Muderers who perpetrated this. The sooner the Earth is rid of these animals the better.

there was a good movie that came out a few years ago that i thought showed a good angle on this and other mystery bombings called arlington road and the basic plot was that a terrorisim expert starts thinking his new neghbors are terrorists. and after a bunch of researching and horrible events he finds out he was right of course he ends up driving in to a gov building to stop the bomb only to realize the real bomb was in his trunk and blows up and he is labled as the terrorist. and the professional terrorists get away and arent suspected and move on to there next assignment. but it showes that while the offical story is obvoiusly bunk there is alsways the chance that something much more complex and hard to prove was going on.

just want to point out to you that while yes clinton ws gutless and more then likly complicit in the bombing, not all middle eastren people are islamic there are middle eastren christians and jews and buddhists hell i knew a guy who was born in pakistan who was hindu. so you cant blame a religion just because that religon happens to be the dominate one in the region, if some guy from florida goes and blows up a building killing hundred of people would you automaticly assume he was christian?

I agree that McVeigh & Nichols didn't act alone in bombing that building. I also feel that if the official story is true about them carrying out the bombing, it was a retalliation for an overreaching of epic proportions by Janet Reno & the ATF in Waco. John Doe #2 is another mystery that we were apparently wished to just forget over the years, but it's nice to see some remember it.

Aside from all of that, I don't think pictures of a happy looking husband on a myspace page with his wife & family proves anything. What's the first thing we always hear about virtually anyone charged with murder? His friends, relatives, co-workers, and neighbors all say "Oh he was so nice (or quiet, or courteous, etc) I just can't believe he'd do such a thing." Emotions are easily masked and faked. Combine that with the fact that former law enforcement officers tend to believe they'll experience hell on Earth if they're ever imprisoned with some of the very criminals they helped incarcerate and even him taking his own life is very plausible.

Even though these OKC threads are no longer active, April 19th still angers me and I hate that this incident has been forgotten by many.

They also pulled at least 2 undetonated bombs from the building and FEMA and other federal/military organizations reported it.


OKC was an inside job.



Remember Terry Yeakey. He also "committed suicide" by slashing himself repeatedly, cutting his jugular twice and then shooting himself in the head. Oh yeah, and he had grass and dirt embedded in his wounds and appeared to have been dragged.





Our only hope can be that the people truly responsible for this will be found and brought to justice before they die of old age.

You got that right! I did some research for an author on OKC and it opened up my eyes in so many ways. From talking with emergency responders, news personnel, people who were there that day, shop keepers in the area it amazes me that so many people have forgotten Arpil 19th. I was just sorting thru my papers here and found my file on OKC...all 2500 pages of it...and it got my blood pressure up.

Good to know there are satill people on here that remember.

His wife Tanya is still scared to death to this very day. She has endured break ins to several of her homes afterwards where messeges were left on her fridge and spray painted on her house. Terrence did NOT commit suicide and that is clear from his ME report. His brothers & sisters who worked with him at the OKCPD also suspect he was killed because of evidence he collected at the scebe that day including photos of suspicious people on scene and some who didn't want their photo took.
