Bravo! You are absolutely correct. This is a matter of parental rights. No nation should put themselves in a position to assume the right of parents to raise their own children.

By the way, I see you're from Canada. I know that homeschooling or home based education is legal in all of the provinces, but are there any restrictions that you know of?

California Assemblyman Joel Anderson is introducing a concurrent resolution in the Assembly.
He is calling on the California Supreme Court to reverse the recent court decision that could make
homeschooling illegal.
This will happen fast, since it's a resolution and not a bill. All California homeschoolers are
encouraged to contact their legislators and ask them to support homeschoolers by voting yes on
Joel Anderson's ACR supporting homeschooling. We expect there will be a powerful statement

"I have reviewed this case, and I want to assure parents that chose to home school that California Department of Education policy will not change in any way as a result of this ruling. Parents still have the right to home school in our state."

I am so pleased that you read my post and agree with it. It is a matter of freedom - and responsibility.

Sorry, I really don't know. I have no children and don't plan on having any. Nor was I homeschooled myself. My interest in (and defense of) homeschooling has a somewhat unusual motivation.

Well, whatever your motivation, welcome to the cause. We need everyone to stand up for freedom and rights. Too much is being taken away from citizens. Government was supposed to be for the people, of the people, and by the people. It certainly doesn't seem that way any more.

I am afraid however that I am not at all surprised at this and when you look at this closely a stereotype begins to take shape getting more to fit with the rest of this agenda we have been warned about back when Eisenhower was president.

I think we are looking at the final chapter in that agenda spoken about when Krushev was the head of the soviets and saul alinksy refers to "The one" they are all waiting for. The one we have all been waiting for or "They" have all been waiting for is the one most suspected of being a socialist the one all the other people on these boards who are for socialism and the product of that generation also have been waiting for.

The ones who call everyone sheeple for listening to the msm but allowed that same msm to tank for "The one" . He would usher in the new change in our Government and the change is as we have also heard, one we can all believe in as he would have every intention of bringing this change to fruition and all those hypnotized into buying into this guys rhetoric would be unknowing agents in a conspiracy for change. The change we can all believe in would be one of many quotes and phrases taken from the alinsky books about community activism and organization in a step by step, generation by generation movement to get the religious right to back off by controling the media and by giving more and more Americans a taste of socialism in a mantra called multiculturalism which would evolve to diversity or that which divides us. That would then be met with yet another one of alinskys ideas and also that of Jeremiah wright called "Tolerance" where the one being divided out and against (The religious right would be socially corrected in what is now called Political Correctness . They would do this just as the many involved in this coup have so brazenly suggested, by Ridiculing the adversary or (religious) into the desired bahavior. It has been taken to extremes by some like Atheist Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins, Gay activists who have come to be the Atheist agenda's allies or at least that is what Dawkins has said when he tells his cult following to use the same in your face anger the gays use.

It has also been said by "The One" they have all been waiting for and those gays and atheists and the media and the many ATS'ers for socialism.

You see, whether religion is something you agree with or not, it has always been the enemy of socialism and communism and social darwinism. Now they have covered that by getting the pope to agree and the many Quasi Christian Darwinists duped into the same agenda for change they can all believe in. Having read about it 30 years ago and seeing it all fall into place not just like Kruschev had said but the Bible also seems to have predicted this and quite accurately.

So not to worry, it is all part of a BIGGER plan and one that is by the REAL ONE and the REAL Messiah who saw this coming and necessitated his own second coming. Dunno if yu believe that or not but the story goes as the world goes and so far the world has been right up to steppin .

I believe in REAL Leadership and not just talk.

Real leadership comes from those who won't ask us to do something they wouldn't have done or would do if the occasion arises.

John McCain did this, and is why most Military will take orders from Military men who have been there in action rather than some suit that doesn't know a whole in the ground from a fox hole.

The one we have all been waiting for is about to ingratiate himself in the most expensive celebration in the history of the most powerful office in the land. Albeit someone like this talks the talk of a great leader, it is those who listen to NOT his words but his actions regarding what his message is and how seriously he can lead us by being an extremely antithetical excuse for everything he expects from us.

Barack Obama called us selfish for not considering a tax hike and this was said AFTER he picked his choice for VP who paid a few grand in his own taxes while telling us it was unpatriotic not to pay more. This was all being said after the American People were given a proposal by the President and a bill co-authored by "The one" we all have been waiting for which would be to the tune of 450 Billion dollars to bail out the same banks "The one" we have all been waiting for took the second highest campaign contribution from and owed the biggest favors.

The same Bill John McCain caught and stopped from passing being accused of playing partisan politics. McCain stopped the part of that Bill penned by :"The one we have all been waiting for" where approx 40 Billion of it would go to the organization so responsible for "The many strange voters registrations and voter fraud connected to "The one we have all been waiting for " or Acorn and yes it is a fact.

Like alinsky and many other books about how to introduce socialism as the next step to communism in a capitalist society the idea is to get media to vilify the rich making them the enemy and to align them with the monster of capitalism. They then would work hard to get prayer removed from schools while media would take the worst examples of Christianity and display them as "Your average dumb "Xtian". Gods existence would be questioned while questioning Darwin would be unconstitutional. This would all be orchestrated by indoctrinating Americas youth in the Public Schools and why teachers are so dis-respected and underpaid.

Home Schooling was the Religious answer to the problem of public school indoctrination so talked about by saul alinsky and many other mentors and favorite authors of the one we have all been waiting for.

To get key people into positions of public service using similar party names but having socialist ideals such as the Democratic Socialists of Illinois and The Party of The One we have all been waiting for. They then have to find keystone icons of a capitalist dream which is the American dream and that has been as always, the opportunity to own a home. They would destroy the economy by corrupting the lending practices to accept the loans of the people with the worst ability to pay.


Given the fact that the money given to the one we have all been waiting for to celebrate his arrival would give more health insurance to all the uninsured in DC or pay down the interest on hundreds and hundreds of mortgages in foreclosure, it would be a testimony or act of faith demonstrating to all those who have been unmoved by his words not matching his actions. For it would prove by example that anyone saying they want to redistribute the wealth the buck stops with the one we have all been waiting for. No that wouold demonstrate unselfishness, patriotism and leadership. So until he does that, I guess he will always be the one
we are still waiting for..

I'm in the UK and whilst you can get 'pressure' to state school they haven't tried to legalise the states right to take your children as they seem to be trying in California?

Just to inform some that don't may be understand some of the reasons for not state educating. Here is another reason that we are against it.

I as a parent and solely responsibility for my children will determine how I look after my children and no person or law will ever stop this. I personally see exactly how this law and the general NWO agenda is being played out. Get them early, offer little to no alternative to parents (those very few that actually are informed and concerned) and state mind/heart control from as early as possible. I'm staggered that even the so called 'educated' parents, can't see that there is anything WRONG with forcing children nay babies into controlled state institutions for another stranger to have their minds and hearts for many hours a day for 12-16yrs?

Listen, if you get nothing from what I'm trying to tell you at least get this.

You do not need to force your children into any form of schooling Home or otherwise until that child has been allowed to grow with you the parent. The gentle slow process should be natural and its not difficult. When your child is ready you will know and it’s only a matter of teaching then to read a process that is almost impossible to stop. The most important thing to teach your child is how to have fun (no not gameboy fun). Everything they do should be fun and that includes them helping you with work.

The problems created in this world are because of state education being, to early in starting, with the wrong motive, the wrong methods. A child is not born a thug they are made. So, if it wasn't you Parent, then who was it that turned your child into this social misfit? You Parent must take responsibility for your child.

If you can’t see the sense in this and think this isn't for you then don't have children, just because you can doesn't mean you have the right to!

Well it seem's I live in California and I have a 16 yr old being home schooled,all the paperwork and all are done through the school district,and I have yet to be informed any different,seems someones reading some doomsday website,IMO bunch of crap

Ask yourself why someone would come on here, and protest so vociferously against home schooling. Perhaps it is to influence those on the fence who are considering home schooling, but haven't made the leap just yet?

Do you know that in my school district, my son was never required to memorize the multiplication tables?

Do you know that my son (who is in 6th grade) has not been taught how to write in cursive?

Do you know that my son was required to know what a Venn Diagram was, IN 2nd GRADE!

One thing that homeschoolers learn WAY more than their public school counterparts is the ONE THING that they fear above all else. The ability to think for themselves. This, they cannot allow.

You see, if parents actually home-school their kids, they might actually LEARN what our founding fathers said about running a government. And we can't have that.

Look up what Thomas Jefferson said about home schooling. It will answer all you need to know (in regards to what should be the government's position).
