It looked real to me. Maybe the sand was painted so to create an advertisement to use in MSM? I wonder what it looks like now?

Yes it was, I saw it in the Little A'le'inn on Thursday! I saw it before I went to Rachel while googling the satellite map and I thought there was a
KFC there.. I had no idea Then when i searched for businesses in Rachel nothing came up. I really had no idea what was there. Now I know! Then I
read the story in the Inn about the KFC ad, I can't remember the details, they paid for the ad and now it's gone.

It's just a guess, obviously, but the road above is called "Aqueduct Road", so... could it be an aqueduct? (The straight lines all around could be
the ducts, i.e. pipelines.)

It's not about right or wrong anyway. The Imagination and wonder of just 'looking' is what it's all about , and I'm starting right now, although
the focus problem is totally "untruthful", by the "never, untruthful" Google!

The indians head, dont forget, is only approximately 800ft across.
Yes this is a large mound, but not anything that could not be achieved with basic knowlege of 'setting out' and surveying.
it is impressive and too well sculptured in my opinion to be natural.
Also there are settlements and road networks all around.
GREAT SITE AND GREAT THREAD THE WORLD IS AN AMAZING PLACE!

For some reason Youtube will not allow me to see this video. I get a message that viewing is blocked in my country. Is there something on the video
about Colombia?

Its Rice Army Airfield that was a WW2 airfield. Located just southeast of Rice California. It's been abandoned for years.
