In the USA, according to the BP data CO2 emissions decreased in 2006 by 1.4% relative to 2005

Well now yes it is possible for video conf. If delegates from common areas were to meet in a local region as teleconf groups. You do not want people
to insult your intelect. Think outside the box. What if you were asked to figure out, in your job how to make it work. Would your answer be to your
customers that is impossible. I am no expert but I know of teleconf.. that took place with over 200 individuals grouped together in areas and took
place across the hemisphere because I was there.

Just a thought ...in general...it seems to me the what we have here is just More US bashing of the type as coming from by eco socialist nazi movement
....Just great..are there any lumps for Russia and China? our lanterns of freedom and pillars of the clean environment?..France has the best Nuclear
plants in the world..her environment is just fine!..if we try it here imagine the Eco screams. At least we have some regs better than either of the
other two major players by a landslide in fact our regs have driven business and jobs to_ your_ countries..without UN peanut gallery members.. its
become another we are guilty because you are successful..I guess success is born with original sin ..interesting concept..Get rid of plant life if
worried about Co2.but then how can we tell the world to go veggie..and stop making so much beef..but then that wont stop methane, maybe we could
wear vaselinated "plugs" with high end filters on our bottoms....eating less beef or eating veggies...why the church of Gore disciples would love
that..pay a carbon tax for both eating and flatulating..this has been a total fraud..Yes we should tell attackers of US like this to go natural and
green and take a long hike in the woods!
The toxicity is not the US way of life..but the attempt to have us surrender it..

As I said in an earlier post, I don't hate Americans.
But on this issue, Americans -- including many of those posting on this thread -- are making themselves hateful. And you are doing it at a time when
you yourselves are becoming ever less powerful in the world.
That is deeply unwise, but I suppose it is inevitable. Power not only corrupts; it blinds. By the time clear sight is regained, it is always too late.

we are not "making ourselves hateful". if we are hated, it is because you hate us. you choose the feelings you bestowed upon us. we are simply
defending ourselves from baseless claims.
what our government is doing is called self preservation. if your going to hate us for it, its your problem, not ours.
and accepting a deal just to make you like us is not at all a good idea.

The American government does not force you to purchase a vehicle of the most polluting but there is a tax incentive for doctors, lawyers, accountants
and all business owners to buy SUVs. Before Oct. 2004 the total price of a SUV can be deducted. There is still a big tax advantage over buying
smaller vehicles.
“If you bought a more-than-6,000-pound SUV prior to Oct. 22 (the date President Bush signed the tax bill into law), you get the possible $100,000
expensing under Section 179. If you bought the vehicle on or after Oct. 22 and its gross vehicle weight requirement is between 6,000 and 14,000
pounds, you're limited to $25,000 of Section 179 expense, plus bonus depreciation and regular depreciation.
The tax bill gives an example of a $70,000 heavy SUV, qualifying for a $52,000 first-year deduction instead of $70,000. Compare this to an under
$11,000 deduction for a $70,000 Mercedes, and it's no small wonder why we're driving in circles with deficits and energy prices.”

Since the entire 'humans are causing global warming' movement is total garbage, who gives a rats ass how much greenhouse gases the U.S. is putting
into the air. It makes no difference. Nothing would change if the U.S. all of a sudden stopped all greenhouse gases. Why? Because what we are
seeing today is a natural cycle either by the Earth itself or the Sun.
Secondly, why don't you complain about China. They are the biggest polluters. I see......only the greenhouse gases from the U.S. cause damage.
I bet you don't know why China signed Kyoto and its not because they care about the environment. Its because Kyoto is worded in such a way as it
would severely cripple the U.S. economy. This is why the U.S. did not sign it.
Using your logic, I am polluting right now because I am exhaling CO2. Sad, just sad.

This is a perfect post, as it points out that it's all about taking responsibilty for your own thoughts and actions. Quit saying ridiculous things
like "the U.S. makes you hate us". You choose to do so all by yourself. Hope you really have a good reason ...
And this post also points out the hypocrisy of "hating the U.S." for "not taking responsibilty" for curbing global warming (if it can be curbed),
while all the while not taking responsibilty for your own thoughts and actions. A definate european trait if there ever was one.

First off, your outside source is WRONG. Very poor taste to blatantly use incorrect information in attempting to point fingers at an entire country.
CHINA is the #1 emmitor of CO2, and has been for over a year now.
Secondly, as many people who go beyond what the media reports know full well that global warming is nothing more than a scam. It is even greater than
the Y2K scam. The Y2K scam got everyone to Upgrade their systems. What better way than to have everyone install new software and hardware in their
own coputers making it easier to be tracked. Easier to follow keystrokes. Easier to follow your navigation to websites.
Now Global warming comes along. It nothing more than the normal heating and cooling cycles that have been going on for millions, if not billions of
years on this planet. BUT, the governments found something out. They have guilted humans into believeing its their fault. Now they can force them
to make changes, force them identify other people in their neighborhoods who do not comply with standards. They can control who buys what, just by
identifying something as a green product. For a conspiracy website as this, I just don't see why no one is up in arms over this blatant attempt to
take further control of our lives.
CYCLES, CYCLES, CYCLES.

So the OP's assertion that the American people have a responsibility to bear still stands.
Sorry my friend. China leads the US in CO2 emmissions.

Beachcomber's agenda seems to be all about trying to make any and every other country look better at the expense of the U.S. Details like facts and
statistics hardly matter in the pursuit of that goal. To him, the (unfortunate) fact that China is a worse polluter than the U.S. only needs a
good spinning effort to counteract - let's divide by the number of people to see if we can make this look better for china and worse for the U.S.

People need a county to blame and the is USA is a prime target. It's easy to blame or scream at someone else.
The USA does have many things that need changing, but the USA is a melting pot for every country in the world, so the fingers you point are at your
own ethnicities, genetics, race, religions, colors, etc. etc............because the only people that were in the USA were the Native American
Indians.
The USA has many things that actually help the world but not many will give credit to them these days. People only see what they want to.
I found a thread about a Wind Turbine that was build as a joint project between the US and Canada, this wind turbine produces enough power for 750,000
homes and they also have a home unit to mount on the roof.

You really should take that holier than thou attitude and put a muzzle on it. When the solution is correct we will gladly co-operate in solving

gone through periods like this before we were here, while were here and will long after we are gone. You can't fight nature.

It seems to me that overpopulation is at the root of most of the world's problems. Sure it matters, to a point, what you drive, but the bigger
problem is that there are simply too many people on this planet and it's reaching its carrying capacity.
It wasn't that long ago I was listening to a mother of six children lecture someone on their "carbon footprint" because they drove a RAV-4 SUV (and
had no children).

For total emissions, china leads the way now. But it has a rather big population. So, if each chinese family had the same impact as each american, it
would be a different game all together.
When compared from this perspective, the US beats China per capita. However, if we do this, then I think Dubai and other arabian oil states beat
everyone.
Taking other wider aspects of pollution, china is one dirty little state - growing faster than it can really handle environmentally.
