Who are YOUR ATS Legends?

Considering the fact that you´re a newbie you´re not doing bad Simus.


On a more serious note: Ive been going through the archives back to 2002 lately, and its strange how ATS Superstars come and go. You have someone who did thousands of posts...and then...suddenly...he´s gone. Reading through all that old content I often ask myself who they were and where they might be today.

A feature of ATS you might find interesting: If you go to "members" you can actually have them listed by the number of posts they did. intrepid is currently leading the list of most posts.

I have to agree with skyfloating..YOU are a legend here buddy!

nygdan and melatonin have been my ATS legends.

many have come and gone, but those 2 are always posting pure awesome.

Dgtempe is the legend in my own mind.

Then there's many others, many to mention. MikeSingh, is very good. Jsobecky, Whaaa, Exitable Boy, Jensouth31, Niteboy, and when i win my academy award, i will name them all by name. There are many more, i just dont have the time to post them all!!!!!

You know who you are!!! Also Duckster and AD, and soooooooo many more! Oh, Majic, cant leave him out. My mentor.

Wow Simi..you really got me to think about this one.I have been a member a short time compared to many here.But I was hooked from day one.So many people here to look up to, and to learn from.The sight itself is inspiring.Simon Gray created this site at the age of 16 people!That is awesome...

I could list many members on any given day, for anyone of those questions.The ones I listed are the most consistant in my mind and have been to me.

Only because I had a guy behind me, urging me to think, be strong,don't give a care what others think..be yourself.READ, READ, READ.Learn.Don't accept all that is handed to you as fact.Do your own research, cross reference. I could go on and on...but I won't.
Iam truly a better person today...because of those I listed above.

I have a habit of forgetting about valhall, I don't see their posts very often in my neck of ATS. However, when I do see them, they are great.

EDIT TO ADD: Of course, we could go the whole true "pissing contest" route and compare time and post count.

I certainly give Valhall his dues (and I did earlier), but you are comparing 4 and 1/2 years to 5 months.

Let's see 1400 posts vs 14,800......there's a tad bit of a difference.

Makes it a wee bit tough to "compete".

I value quality posts over popularity contests. The mods (for the most part) give applauses for quality posts. Members may simply flag and star something they agree with.

By the way, both Valhall and BH are women. Just so you know. Third place in number of applauses is The Vagabond, I think.

You,as I am sure you know, are one of my favorites here at ATS..There is little, if anything in particular, that you say to which I disagree with. I think you particularly have a good grasp on the social issues.

I try and post on all of your threads. Sometime I am a bit late because I don't post here everyday, but I always try.. Keep up the good work, bud.

masqua, Worldwatcher and Deus ex for encouraging me to write and post.

essedarius, sdp333, nikelbee and maria_stardust, whose writing talents amaze me.

hellmutt for being the cool BTS guy that he is.

steve-o for being himself.

asala, a goddess, who made me feel welcome from my first day here.

byrd, v kaminski, tom bedlam, astynax, valhall, marduk( who is no longer with us, banned ) and queenannie for sharing their knowledge.

Ohh and hundreds of others who make me smile, think, shake my head, rotflmao, research, read, watch and learn everyday i log on.
