Jackboot nazis! Well, it has begun, the war against freedom loving Americans by the tyrannical Bushco regime. Zero laws were broken by Liberty but yet they were jackbooted, ransacked and all of their assets seized. Sound familiar? Can anyone remeber another period in history where this occured? Does Prescott Bush ring any bells - the financier of the SS...?

These pukes honestly think that they are going to get away with instituting a police state - fascist regime.
I guess that it hasn't occurred to them yet that they are likely to end up at the end of a rope, swinging not-so-gently from trees and lamp-posts. This little NWO ploy is not going to end well for them and if they are too stupid or brazen to recognize the public sentiment against them already, then they deserve what comes their way - and it ain't gonna be pretty folks.

The average American is already fed up
and I seriously doubt that too many more of these antics are likely to be tolerated. When this thing goes down, WHEN, not if, it is going to be the most pivotal moment in the history of mankind - dwarfing either of the WWs or Hiroshima in it's impact upon humanity. In 100 years, our progeny will look back at this event as the defining moment in human history when all of tyranny was eradicated for good!

They are getting away with it, and the people seem to want them to.

I've brought up a few of the key points on local TV news blogs/discussions. I have come to one probably obvious conclusion: The common man is a moron.

I just hate that with the current state of the nation, to get away from this fascist garbage means a migration to socialist garbage. Surely there must still be place in this country where freedom actually means something.

Just got a follow up email from Liberty Dollar:

Friday, November 16, 2007: Make no mistake, the FBI and Secret Service raid on he Liberty Dollar at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, was a direct assault against the US onstitution and your right to own and use gold and silver in any way you chose.

I personally spoke to FBI agent Andrew Romagnuolo shortly after he and his gang invaded the peaceful home of the Liberty Dollar. He told me that the raid was related to the US Mint's warning and the beginning of a criminal investigation. This is the first battle of a long war that I intend to win!
Please note the Search Warrant, Seizure Warrant and Agent info is now posted. Click HERE for that info. If that link does not work the URL is: www.libertydollar.org...

Also posted is the correspondence between US Senator Bill Nelson of Florida and Edmond C Moy, Director of the US Mint. Of particular interest is Moy's statement that the! paper Certificates are not covered by the Title 18, Section 486 and hence legal. So there was no need to raid Sunshine Mint and confiscate all the gold and silver that backs the paper and digital currencies.
No need, unless the government knew their 486 case didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning and needed to expand their case into the never-never land of mail fraud, wire fraud and money laundering as mentioned in the Seizure Warrant. I anticipate being arrested on any one or all of these charges.

But I see my arrest and trial as a golden opportunity to win and return our great country to a value based currency. I sincerely believe that the right creative marketer could orchestrate an effective counter attack and win big. I believe the Liberty Dollar will win and become one of the great institutions in America. I have devoted the past ten year to the Liberty Dollar and am willing to risk a few years in federal prison to vindicate it. Winni! ng is certainly possible, even probable with your help.
Wi! nning wi ll require good, dedicated legal support and your support. First, if you are angry and resent the government's assault on your right to own and use gold as you please then call the agents and express your displeasure of their actions in a polite way. Don't kill the messenger, just tell them they are wrong. Add your voice to this movement.

Second: If you are owed an order and want to get your money back or have paper certificates or digital Liberty Dollars, I urge you to demand redemption or the return of your money by joining the Class Action Lawsuit. Your participation is absolutely critical. If you don't join the CAL you will not get your money back. Please click HERE to sign up for the Class Action Lawsuit. If that link does not work, the URL is: www.libertydollar.org...
Third: A Legal Defense Fund will be established very soon. Its purpose is to win the cr! iminal case and get your money back. It will take money to make it successful. So your contribution is also critical. Please don't let the government steal your money.

So if you have an existing order, want to redeem your paper Certificates or digital Liberty Dollars, please join the fight to defend our right to own and use gold as you so chose and sign up for the Class Action Lawsuit. This is the
only way you will get your stolen property back.
If you have no standing and want to finally get involved, no problem. There is still $20 million Liberty Dollars in circulation. Simply get some paper Liberty Dollars and sign up for the Class Action Lawsuit. There is still time for all the thick-headed Lewrockwellites, Markskousenites, Dougcaseyites and Agoraites to pull your head out and get 'right' on this important issue.

I regret to inform you that the Liberty Dollar office is now closed. The government boys took everything except for t! he desks and chairs. We have no stock, no records, no money. I! can' ;t even change the phone message because they took the phone manuals. Nor can I answer the thousands of email and calls from a national organization that now numbers into the hundreds of thousands. I am the last man standing. I need your help.
Thank you for your many offers of help. Now is the time for us to help our selves and our great country as it faces the greatest monetary challenge since the Revolutionary War. Buying gold and silver is good for you, but it will not solve our country's problems.

Government requires participation. The problems we have today are because our parents did not participate. Please keep using the Liberty Dollar. Keep the ideals and benefits of real money alive. Gold and silver is going to be very rewarding as the US dollar disintegrates. Please join the Class Action Lawsuit and give something to the Legal Defense Fund when it is established.
But you don't have to wait. Donations can be sent to the old address as the ma! il is now being forwarded. Of course we will still accept Liberty Dollars, but unfortunately due to the current situation, the attorneys require those dreaded depreciating US dollars.

Please make your check or money order out to me as there is no other bank account and mail it to: Liberty Dollar, 225 N. Stockwell Road. Evansville. Indiana. 47715.
Now is the time to band together and support our fight for value based currency as never before. Now is the time to throw off the yoke of a manipulated monetary/tax system and generate a peaceful and prosperous society.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your offer of help, prayers and support.

The Liberty Dollar and our great country sincerely needs your support.
God bless you and our great country!

Bernard von NotHaus
Monetary Architect

Thanks for updating the Liberty site WorldWatcher. I was literally up all of the night before last with the ticker...it was one of those nights in the precious metals market. I was about to power-down & turn-in when I came across the Liberty story. I continued to stay-up throughout yesterday chasing it...because I believe it is that significant.

Historically, Gold & Silver...particularly Gold today, are as much political commodities, as they are currency, or trading commodities. The political implications of the assault on the Liberty Dollar company, or...the assault on Liberty for short, should not be underestimated imo. How do we divorce the image of presidential candidate Ron Paul, on millions of RP Dollars set to circulate as real money, from his political message? In matters of currency creation & distribution ie...control, government will always assert and defend itself as the only legitimate authority (monopoly), but I believe the information conveyed on the face of the Ron Paul Dollar is of equal concern to the current administration.

Dawnstar contributed a link to Catherine Austin Fitts' Solari webpage. CAF is a strong supporter of James Turk's GoldMoney, another Gold based alternative currency community. I highly recommend reading her respected opinions, including this fascinating email correspondence between she and Franklin Sanders.

Excerpt:

According to an assistant United States Attorney, I am the most dangerous man in the mid-South. What makes me so dangerous? I am the man who opened a gold and silver bank so that Americans could realise their right to honest, stable gold and silver money.

The pending charges against von NotHaus & Liberty...the "never-never land of mail fraud, wire fraud and money laundering"...are reminiscent of the recent case brought against E-Gold.

Just like it takes two sides to make a market...Bulls & Bears...it takes both sides of an argument to stimulate public opinion and awareness. Regardless of a persons position on this unfolding story, I am thankful that it has received some measure of attention.

Why would they want to do that?

I don't get it.

I just have one simple question about the Liberty Dollar:

If you can buy actual gold/silver bullion for a small amount above spot, which would be less than the equivalent in Liberty Dollars (i.e. $600 bullion vs $1000 LD) why would you want to buy Liberty Dollars? Wouldn't it be smarter to exchange your US tender for the actual bullion, at a better rate?

As far as I know, when the Government prints money, they also have to pay interest and pay for it, because they are changing the value of the dollar, which is the Government's money. If they print too much money, the value of that money will go down, so they also have to pay interest and to print the money. Too many people changing the market place (for example - take S.Africa - and diamonds - then someone started making now -- diamonds which are manufactured because those real diamonds change the market place, the value which is set by that kind of holding or selling more real diamonds that make the whole deal - go off like any monopoly on anything) that start interferring with changing things around so much that only some people have a monopoly and soon other Governments are going to change it, because it is such an Action.)

Freedom may mean anything to some people but also there is only a Limit to this Universe and Freedom does not mean that some people think that they can cause Civil Disputes or even a Civil War and not make the Government take notice. If this Country called stil I guess the USA wanted to do anything they expect you to vote and do it that way. I can not explain it any better but I would not necessarily go by Constitution.org because they also bring up stuff that really has not been taken to Court - and now the Supreme Court is hearing about what the Second Amendment really means - and that is I heard going on now. So to me, this all would have to go to Court before anyone can think that it is legally acceptable to do in this Country. That is where this LD case is also going, because anarchy is not a Government either. So that is where I leave it, because they can say anything that they want to at LD but if it was widely accepted and used, it would eventually undermine the real Legal Tender that even the Government has to pay for to print and pay interest and anything else for circulating more money into the economy. Nothing is free, and even printing more Government money also is not Free for the Government. Neither is the Debt or anything else. They have to pay Interest for all of it, and the Government has to also be self-consistent in what they do. Otherwise, it all would all be cases and probably so many legal cases that the Supreme Court would be busy until the next century. Pretty soon it gets all bogged down and nothing is acheived, you may have no Country to live in, and the Government was not really doing anything anymore because everyone thought that Life was Free, which it does not seem to be. I am not a politician, and I do not know all the rules, but seriously, if you seek to print money and say it is your Right and you try and convince others to accept that money because it is backed, then you imply to all Governments of this World that they are all wrong. I would not want to do that, if I were them, they do have N-weapons and other big guns. Voting seems to be taken for Granted also because of emotions, but really it all could end in a flash of bright radiation in the end also.

That's a big quote, but I think it does illustrate the mentality of the Liberty Dollar people.

You want your money back? Join that class action lawsuit and contribute to the legal defense fund.

They just want you to keep on giving and giving in the hopes that your investment in this scheme will all work out.

And it's not their fault for creating the scheme in the first place. It's the government's fault.

You gotta be kidding me. This is the most illegal operation seen thus yet. This all but confirms that all the main stream candidates are just puppets. Don't these dumb asses realizes the more they pull, the bigger recoil their going to get? THe government fails again.

Frankly, I think this raid was performed for reasons much more personal, and superficial. Under the guise of being OFFICIAL.

I think this was a PERSONAL vendetta, orchestrated by the Fed.
Because back in July. Ron Paul ripped Bernanke a new one during Benanke's
explanation of the State of the Monetary policy, to the House Committee on Financial Services.

Those claims need to be backed up by evidence. What purpose does it serve to say these kinds of provable things?

I don't know what Ron Paul has to do with this.

It's evident that the Liberty Dollar people are against the war and support Ron Paul, as is evidenced by those themes gracing their "coinage."

I heard a report this morning that the government is accusing the Liberty Dollar company of trying to depress the dollar. Does anyone have any sources for this claim? I'm not gonna say it's true until there's a source.

Oh, so it's really the Liberty Dollar Company that wants to usher in the Amero?

They're going to need a scapegoat, might as well be the Liberty Dollar. Quite convenient.

well, we've invested a little in silver......and they weren't liberty dollars....but every one of them, I am sure, if the economy fell into chaos, would be accepted for trade. are we aiding in the decline of the dollar also..I don't think so.
I think what their problem is, is that the more interest there is for everyday americans to gather and collect the silver and gold in many forms.....the harder it is for the powers that be to keep the value of these commodities at a reasonable level. Remember, both silver and gold is used by industry also. so, many of the powers that be in the world, who've stockpiled the stuff have been continually dumping large quantities of it onto the market, hoping to get control of the price. It works for awhile, but we, the people, seem to buy it up almost as quickly as they can dump. gold, and silver....are real wealth, recognized as such from the beginning of time. they are not peices of paper, or electronic bits flowing through cyberspace. the powers that be, are losing a little more of that wealth with each dump, since even they know, the paper that they are getting back will more than likely be losing value real fast. and now, even some of the governments are trying to shore up their treasuries with the stuff.
and believe me, if the US government feels the need to shore up their treasury with silver and gold...theirs is just about gone.....they will have no problem confiscating the stuff from anyone they wish.

This whole thing is not causing the decline of the dollar, our crazy government, with their insane policies...along with a public that is so driven to buy, buy, buy......borrow, borrow, borrow...is what is driving that dollar down.
the interest in owning gold and silver is just one side effect of this...the more uncertain the people are of the currencies, the stocks, real estate, and all the rest....the more they are going to go back to the more traditional forms of wealth---gold, silver, LAND, precious stones, ect...

by the way.....to any jewelry store owners that might happen to cross this way. my condolences to yas this shopping season. it seems that the price of gold is driving your customers away??

what it all boils down to is that the powers that be are losing control, they will do whatever it takes to gain it back....even take liberty dollar's gold and silver as their own...
I mean what is wrong with you people anyway....don't you get it....their funny paper is much better than those heavy peices of metal anyways! Now give them their metals back and take their funny paper.....or else, they will just come and take your metals anyways....

I just watched Beck's interview with von NotHaus. It was pretty good. I thought von NotHaus' argument that the coins are dissimilar from official currency was a bit searching. It makes me ask, not unreasonably, why would you not make the coin as dissimilar as possible if you know that the government is looking for a reason to bring you down? But I don't foreclose the possibility that he was just too myopic and not intentionally trying to defraud anyone.
