As you didn't reference any part or segment of "Fortress Australia" I assume you have not read the full text.
I did not write "Fortress Australia" but I know who did and have kept in touch with him for many years which included a trip to Sydney in 1997 for a
one-on-one briefing.
As you don't post any specfic examples of what you think I am "making up" it is difficult to respond to your charges.
To base your argument on the 1000 or less Australian troops in Iraq who may or may not be withdrawn is fairly weak in terms of evidence to the
contrary that Australia was purchased by the U.S.
I suggest you read "Fortress Australia" and then come back with the facts and figures to support your charge that the U.S. did not purchase
Australia.
