Best Kung Fu Movie ?

There isn't one.
IMHO they are all equally bad, and I've never understood the attraction to the genre.:shk:

The best of the latest kung fu is kung fu hustle. Homey son, you have the structure of a choo flee master. I really liked the notorious axe gang who were pretty inept at kung fu. I found the movie worth watching more than a few times.

ha yeh, love that movie. So funny... That and Shaolin Soccer. Talk about hectic soccer.

shaolin soccer is cool

36 chambers and drunken master are good too

my favorite though is one called Snake And Crane.. I THINK thats what its called at least

anyways it features a very young Jackie Chan.. The final showdown between Jackie and the leader of the enemies clan is awesome, especially when Jackie starts usin' the snake technique

i think the choreography is what captivates a lot of people
some of the stuff they pull off in kung fu movies makes complex dance moves look like a peace of cake

When you mean drunken master, do you mean drunken master 3? This one one?.

I also found on google that it's 'Snake and Crane Arts of Shaolin'

Four of the Best, IMHO, in descending order of personal preference and ascending order of over-all production values:

Drunken Master / Jui kuen (1978) Raw, brutal, funny action, hilarious slapstick, one of Jackie's best, if not THE best of his entire career.

Iron Monkey / Siu nin Wong Fei Hung ji: Tit Ma Lau (1993/2001) Wonderful wire stunts (consider the scene with the effortless gathering of the wind-blown, flying papers), liberally sprinkled with sly humor, the climactic final battle above raging flames on disintegrating, burning posts is a stunning, classic piece of work.

Kung Fu Hustle / Kung Fu (2005) "From walking disaster to kung fu master" LOL! The kick-in-the-seat, outright, madcap funniest of this genre, ever! The CGI is seamless, and rockets the mayhem and hijinks way, WAY, far beyond simply ROTFLMFAO!

House of Flying Daggers / Shi mian mai fu (2004) The flight through the bamboo forest leaps to mind immediately, absolute poetry in motion. This film is lyrically beautiful and a joy to behold, the prettiest kung fu yet.

I plan to get Drunken Masters, The Prodigal Son and maybe Flying Dagger...

The site above is great for kung Fu movies.

Lol, I like an old kung fu movie called Karate Ghostbuster which featured a young Jackie Chan. It was certainly a lot better then Master of Cracked Fingers.:w:

it depends on what you like most about kung-fu movies, but my favorite of ALL TIME has to be Shogun Assassin, which is really a mix of the Lone Wolf movies.

My favorites the earlier Jet Le movies legend 1&2.
