Looking for famous Alien photo, That nobody has????

Hi all, I really need your help in finding a really cool photo/painting??
of alien that accompanied a article in a famous magazine. I saw and heard about the photo/painting?? in some ufo documentry i watched awhile back but cant remeber the name of the doc otherwise i would just rewatch it for details.
I cant remeber the magazines name..Might have even been TIME magazine.
I think the magazine is from the 80`s or 90`s. The article might have been about proving that the nazi`s did not have a research project on ufo`s cant remember. Anyway in the documentry the guy is saying that the photo that was used in the article actually look like a real alien and NOT a dummy due to the fact it has such life like details i.e. hairs etc on it.

So yes PLEASE if someone has more info or a good scan of that picture can you post it

Hmmm It might be from a magazine called "sceptic magazine"... or maybe LOOK magazine...

Thanks but no Its none of thoughs. I must state that the photo/painting is a great quality picture. It almost looks like a perfect artist rendering..but obviously when zoomed in you can see it looks like a actual living entity.

The photo does not look like any of the standered real/fake photos floating around on the alien photo sites...

I hope someone can be successful. All I can remember is that it was a article in a well respected magazine..And im pretty certain the article was trying to disprove nazi ufo agenda. Ive been searching for the last 4hours LOL but I cant find anything on this...

I also remember hearing the investigator saying he contacted the magazines editor to find out where they got the photo from and they were not forthcoming but eventually gave him the name of man who just said he was given the photo and would not say anything else..

spacedude, could you maybe provide a description of the pic (i.E. the alien was alone? with someone other? was standing/seaten/layed down?
eyes big/normal/small? b/w pic or colour?)
Just a description: i think that even a painting made by you, and based upon what you remember could be useful...

I remember that article from somewhere .. the pic was rather authentic looking ... I just don't remember where I saw it ... but I will start searching for it as soon as I post this ...

I remember that picture, knew which it was from your first post. Unfortunately I can't remember where I read that article, however, I found a part of the full picture with google image search.

AMOCO Advertisement and the Alien

In November of 1989 AMOCO placed a full-page advertisement in
Aviation Week and Space Technology magazine headlined "Technology
so advanced it will help you answer some big questions." On the
back was a full-page color photo of an alien head and shoulders
with his four-fingered hand raised in a gesture of friendship.
Spokespersons for AMOCO said this is a photo of a ten-inch model.
One NASA employee who received a copy of the photo in the mail said
he thinks it is a photo of an alien taken by another alien with a
camera provided by a NASA source. High quality copies show moisture
in the corner of the left eye and thin hairs on the neck. Many
people think this is not a photo of a ten-inch model. I asked the
lady on the advertised 800 number if this ad sold much of their
product. She said no, but they got a tremendous number of inquiries
about the alien picture. This ad was repeated in Aviation Week and
other aerospace magazines, some in even larger format. While I was
in the Air Force we knew this as "Aviation Leak" magazine; because,
much information, when declassified, reached the public through
its pages without being released at a press conference. This
insured responsible and accurate reporting.

I gotta say this picture of the Amoco alien actualy looks like a painting not a photo at all. And further more that fact hat is part of a add campaign cements the fact that there is no authenticity to it at all. I mean come on just look at it....anything that seems to good to be true, IS!

There`s something about this pic,if it`s a painting it`s an amazingly
detailed one.look at the skin,the little dimples like goose bumps,
surely that takes a lot of work,especially back in the late 80`s?
It`s a pic I`ve never been able to poo poo,that`s why I like it as
me avatar...that looks like a friendly dude to me!

Hey dude, glad you found the photo you were looking for, it really isn't that rare. Now if you were looking for a "really" famous photo that no on has, take a look at this one. I don't claim that it is real but......i don't know that it isn't either.
