Hey I did not know these were used in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles that must have been what the viral campaign was for. I only read the first few pages when this first appeared here then figured it was a viral campaign for something. Never came back to find out what. Kind of cool I found out today well finally getting a chance to watch the show

Inconclusive - though most are leaning (or trying to "prove") hoax, while a few stop in now and then to argue against said proof. Many remain on the fence.

You must consider though, that since no one has heard hide nor hair from either the perpetrators, pundits, or platituders in quite some time now - that the idea, intriguing as it may have been, and the plot, executed as well as it was, and the followers-on, devoted as they may be - must resign themselves to the gradual demise and eventual pretermission of "da drones".

Ummm... several dozen pages ago, can't remember exactly when or where, but our most energetic gumshoe, Sys_Config, disclosed (I think) something to the effect that the AlienWare computer hardware folks may have (directly or indirectly) posted (and funded) the CARET Fortunecity site as part of an initial viral campaign to set the stage for later product placement and marketing initiatives.

It forced us to turn the microscope on ourselves and ufologies mouthpieces and explained , exposed the mechanics of how why we are so gullible when you have the collective power of Radio C2C , Whitley,Striebers Unknown Country, Linda Howwell and Tv , La times papers..owned by same people Fox..Newscorp and their business partners like Warners and marketing giant Carat( Dells Marketing at the time0 , all package their Products and Movies.and this Hoax .. as reality or real event..That was only a hoax.folx...start looking at your mainstream news..its become a matrix combination of characters like these..that really impact us.
Gullibility is always preceded by a state of trust and presumption they are acting in good faith...something, based on the many hoaxters and hoaxes they foisted on us over several years and to date, is ..totally undeserved..and apparently lost forever at least in our generation..

I find it amusing that the name Simon Apocryphal may be a play on Simon Magus a magician who is wanted to bribe Peter to give him the power of laying hands. He is called the first Heretic, and after doing a demonstration of Levitation suffered two broken legs..much like the Drone story when peter broke the magic spell. nope, that was years later, as an reaction of the drone thing..the adapted the designs for their Alienware laptops..

I still wonder what this HOAX was made for..
