I think the zionists made a huge mistake when they factioned the left in germany. They ended up trading jewish lives for land, instead of standing together with the socialist factions that opposed hitler. Zionism was the last nail in the casket of European jewry. The arab's protection is the only reason any holy site remains in israel. The jews line up to stone women who try to access those sites. I saw it with my own eyes. The arabs do not invade other countries. The israelis do. I am sick of israel and I am sick of zionists. They are propped up by evangelical christians who cannot wait for the arabs to kill them so that their genocidal war god whom they misname jesus can come back.

It was a dumb thing to say.
Yet, she is entitled to say it. It's her opinion.

As far as failing career goes.
She doesn't need a career.
Her old show is syndicated all over the place.
And the DVD box sets of each season sell like hotcakes.

I think she is about to do something for Nikelodeon, maybe thats why she is "rearing" her head again.

But I don't think the other Rosie would be allowed to present herself as an Anti-Zionists Jew with a chance to voice her opinions, at least not on TV, so there will not even be a chance.

That's really interesting because the two Rockland County Fire workers that I spoke to about this scene would call you a liar. In fact one of the local newspapers showed Orthodox Jews rescuing Torah Scrolls from that scene.

Best to do some research first. I spoke to two independent eyewitnesses who were on the scene... you?

As far as 'doing some research first' is concerned, is this a case of 'blame the messenger' ?

Like millions of others, I also read articles stating orthodox jews were attempting to prevent firemen from saving the synagogue which was alight.

How many (count on fingers) were there on the spot in that particular location at that particular time and thus empowered to categorically deny the widely published reports claiming an anti-zionist synagogue had 'mysteriously' caught fire and that orthodox jews were actively preventing firemen from doing their job?

Perhaps posters with inside-information and 'contacts' should criticise and 'correct' the mainstream media, rather than lambast a poster who, like thousands of others, simply reported what he/she had been told (information which is still enjoying wide circulation)?

As for Roseanne Barr's comments -- yes, she's entitled to voice her opinions.

Despite claims here to the contrary, Roseanne is still very popular. It's obvious to even the most casual observer that she's no fool -- which is why she's able to play one so convincingly onscreen. She has an incisive wit and cuts to the heart of issues. She's the hypocrites' worst nightmare. She holds nothing sacred, is searingly honest. Which is why her comments and opinions will be granted considerable credibility.

And what's the big deal anyway? Roseanne's only saying what millions have said and do say every day.

So instead of blaming the messenger, what then?

Say that it's so much better to print a story like that rather than "jews save torah scrolls"?

No one buys the paper with the guy saving the cat from the tree. Say he's sleeping with the cat, and people buy it.

My point is that 2 people who responded to that scene claim that the story "so many people read" was hyped up garbage. But which one is juicier?

As for Roseanne? Popular? Still? In syndication yes. Her show was popular and people still find it funny. That's great. She has her right to her views, as do all of us. The pity is people pay more attention to these pill filled celebrities than the rest of us because they're so much more fun to watch.

Can you provide a link to one of the articles saying the Orthodox Jews were blocking the way? intentionally?

It's not that I doubt you..It's that The articles I have found so far, were all based on the same AP article..

I did find a video, where the fire chief mentions that people blocking the way.
But is sounded like it he was referring to a crowd that had gathered, a regular gawking type of crowd.

Tell me, what makes the spicier story? To present that statement to mean that people were intentionally blocking firefighters, or to agree with the Chief and other eyewitnesses that pedestrians who saw the fire got in the way?

Don't agree on the importance of spicing up a story? Why are we talking about Roseanne again?

You see it on video, you hear it from the mouths of Israelis themselves and here is a woman stating how she sees with her own eyes Jews attacking and harrassing Arabs and people still say shes out of her bird or that shes a liar or bigmouth. Is it just a convenience for some to disregard or is it some sort of mind block? This has been going on for decades. It seems like some sort of phenomenon always to be cast off as conspiracy, antisemetism or some other BS.


In as far as Kuwait and Iraq goes, Iraq had every right to do what it did. Having oil fields that use shared areas and having agreements to pump a certain amount per day is breeching the agreement, not only that but also an earlier end of life for a finite source of income. Iraq was in debt and Kuwait was driving the price of oil down by pumping more then it was supposed to from the mutual Iraq/Kuwaiti oil fields. Kuwait was robbing Iraq blind in the range of billions of dollars.

The thread starter is very misguided, and should support people like the Rosies who have the courage to come out and speak the Truth in this world of deceit.

Anyone who dares question the actions of the American or Israeli government, is quickly labeled as a "anti-semite" by you hound dogs, and people like the Anti-Defamation League, whos only purpose for existence, is to defame anyone who dares speak the Truth.

There are jewish people in Israel who protest the tyranny, and protest zionism, because they know it is nothing more than a front set up by the Rothschild family, in order to in effect use the jews as fodder and pawns to achieve foreign policies around the world. i.e. the Holocaust to create the State of Israel.

Wake up. Even if you disagree with her, she has the right to free speech. People like O'Reilly calling anyone who disagrees "haters" and "traitors" is totally against the very fabric of American democracy and free speech.

Either you are for more centralization, for a police state, for a central database, for suspending the constitution and bill of rights in favour or martial law, either you give us total control to keep you safe.........or you are with the terrorists haters.

Yeah but look the posted date (Fri Dec 08, 2006 3:21 pm) predates the user's join date.

No doubt the site is messed up, but I don't think it's really possible for us divine whether or not this is the real Roseanne's post or not.

Since there seems to definitely be an official connection between the real Roseanne and this site, and this seems to be an exclusive forum for someone with the username "Roseanne" I'd give the benefit of the doubt to the notion that this really is Roseanne's post.

OK I understand people are not going to like what Roseanne has to say here but can I ask why? It's all well and good to call her a crack-pot, loon, stupid whatever but explain why you think she's misguided please.

I for one think she is spot on with her comments and I am truly amazed to see this side of Roseanne. I had no idea she was active in this arena. Aside from being a very talented comedian she can also put astute social commentator into her resume.

Zionism is a destructive force in our World. It divides and it also seeks to conquer. There is plenty of legitimacy to Jews wanting to be safe and to have a homeland but Zionism goes so far beyond that ideal that it corrupts, and ironically endangers, the Jewish population.
