So are you saying that Egyptian gods built the the Temple which was supposed to house the Judaic god?

It has been the opinion of many Masons (Pike, Mackey, Waite, etc.) that the character of Hiram as used in Freemasonry is based on the older solar myths of Osiris, Mithras, Jesus, etc.

While the symbolism used in Freemasonry is Old Testament, the basic allegory is the same with Osiris and the other death-and-resurrection god-men.

In my opinion, Jesus number is connected to ISIS (888), instead of OSIRIS (666)

LORD JESUS CHRIST = 800 + 888 + 1480 = 3168

The same numbers can be found on page 259.

The numerology trying to link the number 666 to Osiris is forced and arbitrary.

The story of Jesus seems to be the Hebrew version of the Osirian allegory. Osiris was the god-man who was slain and resurrected, giving eternal life to his devotees. The stories of Jesus and Mithras follow suit.

Isis, the Virgin Mother, is in Christianity the Holy Mother Mary.
