9/11/2001

the event that has defined our time . . .

and galvanized those concerned about conspiracies . . .

inspiring an overwhelming amount of speculation about cover ups and scandal.

However . . .

now more than ever . . .

we should recall the important things:

45 people lost their lives as flight 93 crashed;

189 people lost their lives at the Pentagon and on flight 777;

2, 823 people lost their lives at the World Trade Centre
and on the flights that crashed into them.

3, 057 individual tragedies.

No matter what opinion you hold of the details of that day . . .
innocent lives were lost.

Beginning at the time of the first WTC impact on 9/11/2001,
AboveTopSecret.com is observing 5 seconds of “silence” for each life lost.

Before you return to the conspiracy theories . . .

before you take up the discussions again . . .

reflect on the silenced voices who are no longer with us.

This is an incredible tribute. Thank you to whoever spent the time and effort to create it and put it up.

I pretty much feel honoured to be a member of AboveTopSecret.

Yeah, I thought it was a kind gesture to take the time to remember all those people who lost their lives on that dreadful day. Not just that though....we had to wait for our daily dose of ATS. It allowed for a time of reflection, a time when we were forced to think of someone besides ourselves. Very nicely done

You should be able to copy it to your hard drive by doing a right click "save as". If that fails we will keep it up on this link indefinitely www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/91106.html .

Please remember the Creative Commons Deed when you "pass it around" is all we ask.

SkepticOverlord previewed this for Simon and I last week and I have to join the chorus of praise for my partner and buddy.

Damn that was the nicest, most fitting tribute i have ever seen to the 9-11-2001 events.

I hope people who were there get to see this at some point, and realise that there are people out there who feel deeply for them, and were thinking about them at this terrible time.

As a catalyst of events, 9-11 was a terribele day for humanity, as it was followed by wars and pain that seem to have no end.... To salute it in such a way was awesome.

ATS gets my WAY ABOVE vote now, and always.

Words can not describe what I feel after watching that.

As the text faded and no longer with us bolded. SO's charachter faded in with that grim look, speechless! I found myself at the edge of my seat in amazement.

My hats off to the Amigo's, your true colors shine bright today.

Proud to be a member of ATS.
