Why can't a site just post a list of the predictions??

I believe Edgar.. that is until he predicted the end of the world before the turn of the century and Atlantis rising from the sea before the turn of the century. None of which has happend.

Yep... he also predicted that the East Coast would be underwater before the turn of the 21st century. Nope... still high and dry.

Cayce may have been a prophet and spiritual healer but he certainly didn't predict "everything" and most of his predictions didn't pan out.

Excuse me, but when did he predict the 'End of the World???? This is the Correct: The "end of the world 'As We Know It".

You say MOST didn't pan out? Please list these 'most' you're referring to. Just don't make a serious statement as this and not BACK IT UP with your facts.

Ok, where in the reading does it say " the world will end before or eben after for that matter??

Where did it say that Atlantis would be fully risen again before the turn of the century??? What reading? Give the number please.

As for junk sites, why not purchase the CD-Rom or visit the A.R.E. Library here in Virginia Beach and do the research yourself instead basing your opinion on lack of interpretation or perhaps outright mis-information as there 'rarely ever' was an exact date given in the readings where future earth changing events are concerned. But the few times he did, he was correct.

As a matter of FACT, (Scientific FACT), the E.C. predictions have been Right On!

These below articles back-up Cayce on his prediction for 1998 in regard to the earth changes would be "known" to have "begun in 1998"! (these are but a few, but I can research and pull up tons more data if need be).

The cost of weather-related disasters in 1998 alone exceeded the cost of all such disasters in the whole of the 1980s. Tens of thousands of mostly poor people died in storms, floods, earthquakes and droughts.

Why Does the Climate Change?
Major shifts in climate, such as those that resulted in past ice ages, are related to changes in the Earth's position relative to the sun. Shorter term changes in climate can occur after major volcanic eruptions. Following the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines in 1991, temperatures were cooler than normal for a few years. Changes in the circulation and temperature of the oceans can also cause shifts in climate such as El Niño events. Such an event occurred in 1997-1998 and average annual temperatures in the western Arctic were almost 4°C warmer than normal

Earth Gets a Warm Feeling All Over
www.nasa.gov...
Last year was the fourth warmest year on average for our planet since the late 1800s, according to NASA scientists.

To determine if the Earth is warming or cooling, scientists look at average temperatures. To get an "average" temperature, scientists take the warmest and the coolest temperatures in a day, and calculate the temperature that is exactly in the middle of those high and low values. This provides an average temperature for a day. These average temperatures are then calculated for spots all over the Earth, over an entire year.

(Note:Go to sit for imag)
Image to right: 2004- The Fourth Warmest Year in a Century: 2004 was the fourth warmest year around the world, since the late 1800s, according to NASA scientists. 1998, 2002 and 2003 were the only years warmer since the 1890s. This image is from the Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES), an instrument on 3 NASA satellites. It shows energy reflected back to space. The levels of reflected energy increase from blue to red to yellow. The yellow area shows a heatwave over California in May 2001. Credit: NASA GSFC/LARC and SVS

Scientists use temperatures taken on land and on surfaces of the oceans. Weather stations provide land measurements, and satellites provide sea surface temperature measurements over the ocean. These data are computed by NASA. The end result recreates and calculates global temperatures, and helps scientists study climate change. Makiko Sato of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), New York, converted all the data into readable global temperature maps that provided the means to see the warming.

James Hansen of NASA GISS analyzed the data and said that the 2004 average temperature at Earth's surface around the world was 0.48 degrees Celsius or 0.86 Fahrenheit above the average temperature from1951 to 1980.

Image above: The Warming Trend of Global Surface Temperatures: Trends of annual surface temperature relative to 1951-1980 mean: the global mean is on the left and the global-plus-local means on the right. The left-hand panel shows that globally the warmest temperature occurred in 1998 (highest black dot on the top right), while the second and third warmest years were 2002 and 2003, respectively. As the figure shows, there has been a strong warming trend over the past 30 years, a trend shown to be due primarily to increasing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Click on image to enlarge. Credit: NASA

Globally, 1998 has proven to be the warmest year on record, with 2002 and 2003 coming in second and third, respectively. "There has been a strong warming trend over the past 30 years, a trend that has been shown to be due primarily to increasing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere," Hansen said.

Global temperatures vary from year to year and place to place, but weather stations and satellite data provide accurate records. By recording them over time, scientists develop a record of the climate, and have been able to see how it's been changing.

(Note:Go to sit for imag)
Image above: Temperature Comparisons: Left Map: The years of 1951 to 1980 are used as a "baseline" or average for surface temperatures of Earth's land and ocean surfaces. The map on the left is color coded to show the differences from the 2004 temperatures to that period. Yellow to red colorations indicate areas warmer than the 1951-1980 timeframe. Right Map: 1999-2003 temperatures were matched against the global 2004 temperatures, and the result is that the yellow and red areas were warmer in 2004, while the white and blue areas were cooler. Click on image to enlarge. Credit: NASA

Some of the changes in climate are due to short-term factors like large volcanic eruptions that launched tiny particles of sulfuric acid into the upper atmosphere (stratosphere) in 1963, 1982, and 1991. These natural events can change climate for periods of time ranging from months to a few years. Other natural events, like El Ninos, when warm water spreads over much of the tropical Pacific Ocean, also have large short-term influences on climate. The large spike in global temperature in 1998 was associated with one of the strongest El Ninos of recent centuries, and a weak El Nino contributed to the unusually high 2002-2003 global temperatures.

Even though big climate events like El Nino affect global temperatures, the increasing role of human-made pollutants plays a big part. Scientists, like Hansen, have been working to try and predict how human impacts on our climate will affect the annual world temperature trends in the future.

Hansen also said that now, Earth's surface absorbs more of the Sun's energy than gets reflected back to space. That extra energy, together with the weak El Nino, is expected to make 2005 warmer than the years of 2003 and 2004 and perhaps even warmer than 1998, which had stood out as far hotter than any year in the preceding century.

(Note:Go to sit for image)
Image above: Looking at Average Monthly Global Temperatures: This is a global map of unusual (anomaly) monthly-mean surface temperatures for the year 2004 relative to the 1951-1980 baseline. The maps run from Dec. 2003 through Nov. 2004. Natural variability is evident from month to month during the year. Most of the United States was unusually cool during the summer of 2004. Yellow and red areas were warmer by comparison to the baseline, while the white and blue areas were cooler. Click on image to enlarge. Credit: NASA

Another interesting note is that global warming is now large enough that it is beginning to affect seasons, and make them warmer than before on a more consistent basis.

Compared to the average temperatures from the 1951 to 1980 period, the largest unusually warm areas over all of 2004 were in Alaska, near the Caspian Sea, and over the Antarctic Peninsula. But compared to the previous five years, the United States as a whole was quite cool, particularly during the summer.

2005 TO BE HOTTEST ON RECORD
2-25-05 (MSNBC) Last year was the fourth warmest since recordkeeping
began in the 1880s and 2005 could go down as the warmest ever recorded,
NASA scientists reported in a new analysis of temperature data.
"There has been a strong warming trend over the past 30 years, a trend
that has been shown to be due primarily to increasing greenhouse gases
in the atmosphere," said James Hansen of NASA's Goddard Institute for
Space Studies, based in New York.
The most common greenhouse gas emitted by human activity is carbon
dioxide. The burning of fossil fuels and trees, both of which store
carbon, have added CO2 emissions to Earth's natural levels.
Hansen and NASA colleague Makiko Sato noted that two additional
factors are expected to play into 2005 temperatures.
One is the presence of El Nino, when warm water spreads over much of
the tropical Pacific Ocean.
The other, they said, is that the Earth's surface now absorbs more
of the sun's energy than gets reflected back to space.
"The Earth is now out of energy balance," Hansen and Sato wrote.
"One result of this imbalance is that it makes it likely that global
temperature in 2005, aided also by a weak El Nino, will exceed those
of 2003 and 2004 and perhaps even the temperature of 1998, which had
stood out far above the temperature of any year in the preceding
century."
Last year was the the fourth-warmest on record, with a global mean
temperature of 57 degrees Fahrenheit. That's about 1.5 degrees
warmer than the middle of the century.
=====================================
Geological Events of 1958-1998

May 1960: A giant, M9.5, earthquake hit southern Chile. This was the strongest quake in the entire world in the last century. Catastrophic changes (upheavals) occurred to the land surface and sea floor, and tsunamis killed people as far away as Hawaii.
March 1964: The Good Friday earthquake and tsunami of March 27 devastated Anchorage and the surrounding region. At M9.2, this giant quake was the largest in North America in the last century, and the Earth's crust beneath Prince William Sound and vicinity was upheaved, twisted and broken.
1970-1971: These years bracket unusually frequent eruptions of the volcanoes Krafla and Hekla on Iceland (65šN), and Beerenberg on Jan Mayen Island (71šN) in the Arctic region. They can be considered to be precursor eruptions for "upheavals in the Arctic."
June 1994: The great (M8.2) Bolivian quake of June 9 occurred at an enormous depth of nearly 400 miles. It was felt throughout much of the western hemisphere, and even made the Earth ring like a bell, exciting modes of vibration never before seen. Also, in reading 3976-15, it is said that, "South America will be shaken from the uppermost portion to the end." Such shaking occurred during the Bolivian earthquake, which presages the future for South America as the Earth changes accompanying pole shift intensify.
1993-1996: Extremely strong seismic activity occurred in northern Honshu and Hokkaido, Japan, during this interval. Five M7.2-M7.5, and one M8.1 earthquake were accompanied by more M6 or larger quakes than at any time since 1926. Also, the land surface over a wide area on the Pacific side of northern Honshu was found to have been sinking over the 30-year period from 1966 to 1995.
July 1996: Hawaii's Kilauea and Loihi volcanoes are two of the world's most active torrid-area volcanoes. Kilauea has erupted continuously since January 1983. Submerged Loihi -- just offshore of Kilauea -- has erupted almost continuously since 1982. Seismic and eruptive activity peaked in July 1996. These volcanoes reflect the predicted worldwide increase in eruptions of torrid-area volcanoes, both on land and beneath the sea.
March 1998: The great Balleny Sea earthquake off Antarctica, was the largest ever detected within an oceanic crustal plate. It's location and strength were completely unexpected by the world's seismologists. At M8.2, it was also the largest quake to occur worldwide in the last five years. Located near the south magnetic pole, the quake may be considered to be one of the "upheavals in the Arctic and the Antarctic" to occur just prior to pole shift.
October 1998 - October 1999: An unusual cluster of 17 light earthquakes (M4.5-4.9) and 23 moderate quakes (M5.0-5.5) occurred in the high Arctic, centered approximately at 85.7N and 81.4E. This cluster may be a precursor of crustal uplift, or mass movements in the mantle, beneath the Arctic Ocean. The quakes occurred north of Severnaya Zemlya, near the top of the world.

Upheavals Since 1998

Listed now are upheavals that have occurred since the end of the 40-year, 1958-1998 interval. They seem to fit the "upheavals" mentioned in 378-16 above.
Northwest Turkey was shaken by an M7.4 earthquake on August 17, 1999. The magnitude of the tremor tied that of the 1912 Turkey temblor for the strongest quake of the last century in that country. Horizontal offsets along various segments of the North Anatolian fault approached 16 ft. and vertical upthrusts of up to seven ft. were noted. Perhaps 20,000 people were killed, and considerable earthquake damage occurred in Istanbul. Then, on November 12, 1999, an M7.1 quake occurred 70 miles east of the August shock, on the same fault, producing additional crustal changes.
On September 21, 1888, the largest earthquake of the last century in Taiwan struck near Chi-Chi. Extensive surface ruptures occurred over 53 miles of the Chelungpu fault. The maximum horizontal displacement of 32 ft. is among the largest fault displacement ever measured in modern earthquakes. The Tachia River was cut by a 25 ft. vertical upheaval that created a new waterfall.

You're not excused... And don't get your panties in a wad... I never said he predicted the end of the world. But he did and he was WRONG.

In fact.... he made over 21,000 predictions and most were wrong.

He predicted 1933 would be a good year....

He predicted that the earth would have a new pole during the winter of 1997-1998. He also predicted massive earth changes—perhaps in conjunction with a pole shift—in the 1930s, 1960s, or 1990s.

He predicted that an Atlantean death ray would be discovered by the U.S. in 1958.

He also predicted that the lost city would rise again in 1968 or 1969.

He predicted that Armageddon would come in 1999

He predicted that China would be completely converted to Christianity by 1968.

...shall I go on?

Okay... one more...

He predicted that New York, Los Angeles, and San Franciso would be destroyed by the end of the 20th century...

His prophetic accuracy is about 40%.... Not bad but definitley not "everything" he predicted has come to fruition.

That's a load of BS.

There is absolutely no Geological evidence to support your claim that pole shift has begun or will begin anytime in the near future.

The magnetic poles migrate and move around considerably, which is normal, this doesn't indicate imminent pole swap.

No... He predicted the START of the rise of part of Atlantis... Not that it would all rise up.

...
Edgar Cayce predicted that in 1968 or 1969 Poseidia, a portion of Atlantis would rise. He describes Poseidia as one of the five islands that resulted from the breakup of the main island of Atlantis around 50,000 B.C. This large land area in the Caribbean, that included Bimini, became an important center for Atlanteans after 28,000 B.C. when natural catastrophes or unpleasant social conditions pressured many Atlanteans to flee their sinking country. (Readings 587-4, 877-26, 2157-1.)

In 1968 airplane pilots sighted what appeared to be cut stone blocks and columns in the ocean north of Andros Island, about 50 miles to the west of Nassau in the Bahamas and 150 miles east of Bimini. The numerous explorations which followed have resulted in the discovery of what many believe are the remains of a megalithic city beneath the water not far from Bimini.

In fact in the past I have shown evidence that at least part of Cuba was a portion of Atlantis.

There is ample evidence to corroborate this.

It is not known to this day which civilization left made these paintings, and the fact that there is a mega city off the coast of Cuba which is 2,200 feet underwater it makes me wonder what sort of disaster could have brought down a mega city like that to 2,200 feet underwater.

Here is one video that shows more sonar images, and photos that were taken of the structures which I don't think I was able to find before.

Here is a video of a 3d reconstruction of what seems to be the structures found 2,000 + feet underwater off the coast of Cuba.

If you look at the sonar images, and even the photos it does seem that at least some of the structures have more than one level, and the levels above seem to be smaller than the floor level but also mostly with straigh lines.

Here is another video, that although it is in Spanish, you can see several of the pyramids which can be found around the world.

Hansen is a liar, and he has been caught several times publishing erroneous information simply because it furthers his green agenda...

Not that long ago, 49 former NASA scientists wrote to NASA, and Hansen since he is the director, asking for them to stop posting false information, and claiming that we know for certain mankind is the cause for the Climate Change, more so when there is empirical evidence from all over the world that refutes the claim of the AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) camp.
