for this counter what are you trying to do?
post the link then having outside people click on it?

what exactly do you need for the counter to go up?

I think it is looking for referrals from different websites, most likely the people clicking the link have to be unique as well. I've been posting the link for a while now, i search for popular blogs and leave comments and post the link on websites like delicious as well. I wish we could just hire a salesperson for this, especially if we have to do it again and again to get to the final question.

Oh god, I hope we don't have to do this for every subsequent question.

I will lose interest immediately if that is the case.

Tell us how we would limit the game to only ATS Members and I'll say yes.

I'll also say the this is the ONLY TIME you will have to deal with the "counter". Ofcourse you'll be wishing for something THIS EASY (getting referring links to the site) compared to the questions that await the counter's completion.

How about if you make it so the winner has to have a verifiable ATS user account. Most people on the other sites will not have a verifiable ATS account. Yes, a few will but you cant get everyone. I think something along those lines might work.
