Swedish foreign minister stabbed. (Died)

Well the topic tells it all, some dode wearing a camo vest stabbed Swedish foreign ministes Anne Lind at least to stomach and chest..

Swedish prime minister Olof Palme (he did die..) was shot in 1986.. the "hitman" is still at large.. things like these surely will bring bad memories back for Swedish people.. actually this unsolved hit is still today a hot topic there.. something like JFK hit is/was for US.

And best that suspect that Swedish police could come up in Palmes case was some mentaly ill dude (Chris Pettersen..), who really coulnd have do it.. just like Oswald lee Harvy (Or was it Harvey?).

No! And his name is Christer Pettersson.
He is a drunko living on social wellfare. He did not murder Palme, he is usally drunk enough not even to be able to kill a cat. Also he was voting for Palmes party and liked Palme, there is no reason why he would like him dead.
Palme did however have alot of enemies.
For instance he was chinkissing with both Arafat and Castro.

It is sad!
She was a member of the Socialistc party whom are the leading party and forms the goverment. I am a member of the opposition.
Still, what is sad is that Sweden has always been an open society where individuals are people even if they are politicians.
For example you can find most of the ministers in the phone directory.
But when things like this happens it seriously damages democracy.

Well im from Finland, so you really dont have to thell me much about Sweden..

First of all: Upper class?
The class system of today in Sweden is invented by the socialists. There are no real classes in Sweden today, but makeing people believe there are makes people still vote for SAP.

King! Yes, we are a monarchy. A constitutional monarchy just like UK, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Thailand, Spain, Denmark, Japan, Tuvalu and others.

The King is no Dictator, he has really no decisions to take. In fact, The King of Sweden is the only person in Sweden of age 18 or older that has not right to vote.
He is also the only person in Sweden who do not have religious freedom.

I just tryed to say that Sweden really must get rid of the "class system" TOTALLY. Also there cant be Kings, Queens, etc.. in modern world as these people are "born better" than the rest. Even if they dont have any real power. There cant be no CLASSES any where in west.

There really are no class system in Sweden!
Some people make money, some people dont want to work, some people start a company and are successfull. The only way to make everybody equal is to make it like North Korea Communism, but then we would have the inner circle of powerfull politicians that would be the "upper class".
Our Kings/Queens are not born better.
But they are raised to be the front person of our country. Noone and I really mean Noone can take a job or political job acting instead of a King because they are not born with it and have not lived with it all their life. Noone have those qualities. It is kind of hard to understand if you dont live in a monarchy.
Our royal family have and does alot of very good PR for our county. They pay off.
Also, we have a constitutional contract. We can not get rid of the Monarchy unless we kill all the nobles in Sweden.

I agree Looking around. She was one of the leading legislators seeking the conversion to the Euro...and then stabbed only days prior to a vote on it!!! Yeah, something is definitely fishy...(err...uhh...sloppy) Had GWB's dad been in charge, this would have been much neater, and would have been a heart attack or a car crash, etc. Nothing I hate more than sloppy state-sponsored hits....frickin' amateurs.... Is it election time yet?

There is nothing wrong with classes in society, only when they are static. having classes is simply a natural thing.

As long as there is great potential for upward and downward mobility in a class system, it is a great thing. Those who work harder simply deserve more, those who are more clever and smarter deserve a bigger piece of the pie. It is when the class system becomes static and locked down, where persons of a lower class have no capability of moving upward, and those at the top are secure no matter what they do, that it becomes unnatural and unpleasant. And when the upper classes are only available by birth, and those who are in them have the only power, then its a problem.

That answers one question tho: the motives for killing the Swedish foreign minister. Now, who in sweden would want that done? How popular is the idea of the Euro? Who in sweden does not want the Euro, and why?

The parties that work mostly towards not joining the EMU are the enviromentalists and the Cummunists.

It could ofcource be just a madman, but then, everything looks pretty damn planned.

I dont know who would it like done, not officially at least.
Joining EMU and getting � instead of SEK is about 40% for and 40% against and the rest have till sunday to deciede.
The ones who dont want �uro is the enviromentalists, the communists and the nationalists (not currently in parlament).
