It's possible, but I doubt it. I do agree, though. A hoaxer would have to have a background like that guy. One way to know for sure would be to find the words he misspelled regularly, and find them misspelled the same way in some of Robert G. Brown's material. The one I remember most was, he spelled "reveal" as "revel", every single time. Things like this could be a dead give-away, IMO.

Does anyone else remember any words he constantly misspelled? There were a few others, I believe. If you email him, try to get him to type the word "revel" in his reply. Hehehe

Why would he give a clue there, though? Anomalies is the biggest place they're still posting about him.

I think there is still an issue with his art bell fax. Going to have to look over that to be sure, though.

edit - Fook! I just emailed him. Umm. I was a little subtle I quoted john titor's poem and asked if he recognized it. I hope the poor guy doesn't get flooded.

This intelligence gathering and espionage can be far more entertaining than waiting the OIMD-recommended period of eight months for the commissioned nicely bound 20,000 word thesis.

But I would read the latter as well, to gain some insight into the unconscious mind and research skills of both the prophet of our times, and the researcher-writers.

The profile fits, but I don't think his writing style is the same. After reading all the things JT wrote, you get a feel for his style, and this guy's doesn't feel the same to me. He also has no poems or theories about time travel on his site, does he? I'm still looking it over.

I dont feel like going through the time stamps But the idea is that if i find a time stamp that pretty muc matches from from john titor.com than it couldn't have been him ... unless he surfed the net with two computers ....

I thought about trying to recreate the laser beam bending picture. It doesn't appear to be PhotoShop'd, but it's tough to tell. BTW, Pamela did say that someone had traced the IP she had. Supposedly, it did trace to Florida, but that could've easily been a proxy.

edit - this is painful. I'm at 1/29/2001 07: which is about half way through. I've gotten w/in 30 minutes of him posting as Titor.

edit2 - okay i did every date. Towards the end i just typed in the month and day to see if stuff would even come up. I could find no instance of RG posting at the same time as Titor. .... I'm going to see if i can come up with anything else.

Yeah. I saw that he wrote of nuclear threat and wars in the middle east. I've still seen nothing to prove this is the guy though. There are probably tons of geeks out there like this guy. There's not enough correlation in anything he's written to be certain. Now, if I saw him misspell "reveal" somewhere, I'd be pretty damn convinced. See, "revel" is a word, so a spell check would never flag it.

I'm trying to get this guys site indexed so it's fully searchable (not like host: with google). He's got php pages so I'm not sure if this is going to work.

eidt - it'll take 24 hours. Can anyone think of anything else that would prevent this guy from being Titor? His predictions are amazing, to say the least.

1. What would it mean if the posting times were exactly synchronous between "Titor" and your surveillance subject?

(Assumption: eliminates possibility of doppelganger effect). Pardon the stupid pun.

2. What would be the effect on your behaviour if "Titor" was viewing this activity right now as an ATS guest?

3. If your testing proves conclusively positive on this case (ie future man = identified present geekus maximus), do you have an interest in the unsolved mysteries of 9/11?

Satyr- it is odd that he gained some spelling ability at RG's page. But this was about a year ago or so, it's hard to say.

There's gotta be some other way of directly confirming one way or the other. So far it looks like it was this guy all the way.

MA, what about Euro/Dollar conversion? That seems like the "big fish". Ongoing, multifaceted, global implications, minimal press...Travel to 1969 may be required, with a small VHL stopover in 1977. The Dead at Cornell. Always been a dream.

I think I've already been through enough 9/11 stuff to formulate a reasonable opinion. Would adult beverages be provided?

I'm also inclined to withold any research suggestions for at least a week. I think we could see some significant events between now and 9/11.
