Your abilities - the proof?

Dear All,

I've just joined this board and have to say I enjoy reading the threads in the board. I have however come across quite a few posts regarding people saying they have all kinds of special abilities be they psychic, contacting various entities,prophecy and a few others.

So please, if you have any of the above three, I'd like you post which one and I'll ask you a few questions then ask for a specific easy proof. Please note, I do not want to rubbish or insult anybodys abilities or beliefs, I'm just after something that will force me to revaulate my own position

so, who's game?

Well, the most "provable" ability I have is commonly known as SLI.

Here's a story from CNN on the phenomenon (though I certainly don't have it to her extent, thankfully).

Furthermore, I'm not sure why this seems to only effect some lights and not others (for me). I have experimented a bit, and I found that I can will them to do so (on or off) after only a few seconds to a couple of minutes worth of concentrating. Freaks out the few people I've shown.

I suppose if I had a digital camcorder I could shoot it and show one, but then of course, they'd simply claim it was faked, so I don't really see the point. Nor do I care really if believed or not. It's hardly a useful talent (except for scaring joggers) Likewise I have issues with digital watches (can't wear them, they go dead in hours or the LCD goes batty and unreadable), and other electronics.

I've also experimented with minor other abilities, like pyro and telekinesis, but so far, not very impressive results. Singing a piece of paper, or moving a paperclip after 20 minutes to an hour of dull concentration isn't exactly if you know what I mean.

About the only other one is limited telepathic flashes, with make our friends (mine and my wife's) swear while playing board games, hehe....but again, hardly anything earth shattering. Check out the link though, and/or google on SLI phenomenon, or S.L.I.D.E.R.s

I have had the good luck to see on TV a "magnet boy" on TV, i.e. metalic objects stick to him, perhaps your abilities are somewhat similar.

If you do have the capability to make a movie and post it, please do. If it would take too much time and resources don't wory about it.

Anybody else?

That magnet thing would suck... I'm just lucky it (my SLI) doesn't seem to affect computers, or I'd really be screwed... I do try and put the box as far away from me as I can though...just in case...

Poor Debbie (in the story above) is pretty limited in her career choices as severe as she has it.

You would think that such a provable case would merit more investigation, especially by institutions which have studied other such phenomenon, but no dice...

hello , im kind of new here also and i also think i have some wierd abilities.for example just the other day at work my boss was bending metal flat bar into designs ,as i walked by ,i laughed and said,(wow just another 184 to go huh john) his reply was ,how did u know that .another example ,my father in law called the other night and as i picked up the phone i said pie r squared . he was amazed at the reply i had given ,becausehis question was how do u find the circumfrence of a circle.just out of the blue i said that i didnt know who was calling .and i didnt know the question . i have others involving the casinos , but id rather not get into that.long stories. just a normal day of living.

Give of spiritual communciation.

I talk to God. Sometimes He talks back. Often I get answers through others, readings and revelations.

I've talked to angels and Satan but can be considered semi-concious states so I don't like to go into detail. Angels give good advice. Satan doesn't have much to say these days other than little reminders he's still there and insertions of fear and anger.

My advice is if ever you have any communciation with these and have ANY doubt who you're talking to, test and make sure you've got the source right.

Yeah yeah, I'm nuts, blah blah, heard it before so don't bother telling me again.

I don't think this is something I can give you the absolute proof you're seeking because this is probably something one would have to experience to believe.

I'm certainly open for any questions and am much better at helping others find their proof than proving my own experiences.

Can't resist.

I pick up things off of people constantly, it sucks though, personally I think I should be a psycryatrist but I can't spell it so who cares (which is my problem cause I do!).

Knowing other people and having a quick tounge means that I probably piss off more people than anything else! The thing is trusting it... i heard/picked up on Saint the other day saying,

''exactly! thats exactly what I'm going through/went through''

But then again I picked up on someone thinking about jumping onto a train track the other day... my cousin who I'm staying with now has family problems... she wants to run away and, ''be poor'' in fact she feels sorry for me, she thinks I'm poor (and slightly crazy) she sees how money can corrupt and wants to be near her family, to be ''normal''... she feels forgotten.

I thought I had that SLI thing to some extent, I was playing with google, and putting some keywords for fun, then I entered the keywords street-lights turning-off when-I pass after recalling the countless times a street light going off when I pass under them. After viewing the search results I was shocked, "so there is something like this" I thought, and it has even a name. after reading about it I learned about light bulbs at home going off etc. I dont have it to that extent in the other hand when I turn on a light sometimes I hear a "pat" and it goes non-responsive and get trashed (two or tree times a year.) only interference I experienced with a digital watch is it constantly falls a couple of minutes off for each day but maybe because I used a cheap one. but I never suceeded to turn off a light which I consantrated on. So I am in the coincidense side, and I am not sure.

we had a magneto man around here too, knives were sticking on his bare skin on his chest and arms.

possibly if a magneto person aproaches a monitor or tv, tv will go violet, and monitor will lose some color and aproach violet, also will distort the geometry of the visible image. try moving a powerfull speaker near a monitor or tv.

if you want to form a more reliable judgment on paranormal abilities I suggest you watch Derren Brown's shows and his explanations about them. He seems to be the most succesfull psychic but he is not one, you see what I mean.

and to tell you the truth I couldnt move a match box by concentrating even when I was on halucination.

but telephaty is something that I can understand, also I remember hearing world record for telephaty which was from one end of the ocean to the other end (america to europe or vice versa). so it is something which is done. ( and we could be doing it in our everyday lives without even knowing it).

I think it mixes with our own emotions and thinking I know people hear voices on here and so do I in a way but its always my voice as though I'm thinking what the next person is... or feeling it.

Just what I thought it'd be.

Its lame though, its back to my conflict thread for me. I guess I've been empathetic for a while, tough describing it to people though, my cousin asked me if I knew what shes like, if I knew her personality the other day, can tell she misses her family but I couldn't ldescribe her persona I just feel/know it.

Empathy must link to that energy transmission thing where you can pick up energy left behind on an object a person has used for a while.... its why shamans use peronal objects or even better hair to help people. Essence.

Not sure I can do this personally... Its the same as being in a house owned by someone whos been there for 50 years and has moved on, not died but moved on... you'd pick up on their persona if you didn't move or redecorate for a good week, bet you'd know that person quite well if they came back afterwards. Prehaps even picking up on their thoughts... They become you in a way....

Could go on about sex, if you're intrested I could tell you how to turn on a woman from a distance. Was working on that one for a while but I hurt a few people and it got out of control once... twice... a few times... I don't play with that one anymore.

Exactly. Sorry to the author, but there is no way to prove anything

is that those who have their proof have a pretty good idea when someone else says something like that is true, because they can relate. I can relate to what you're saying so out of all of this thread so far, I give your post a . In that is validation of my own experiences.

If you need to prove something to yourself.. then go do it.
None of us have any duty to prove something to you simply because you don't believe or share our abiliities.
Quite simply many of these things just don't work like you see miss cleo on tv..
Don't confuse real abilitiies with fake money grubbing propaganda.
The two are as far from each other as black and white.
My suggestion to you is to meditate every day for a month and see for yourself what new things start happening to you . I cant guarantee that you will become more aware of your other senses with meditation but most do. We all have these abilities in us.. the key is learning to unlock them, if you dont have the natural inclination to use them by natural occurance.

But don't treat us like some window exhibit that has to perform for you ... thats just NOT happening.
